This Stupid App

Two updates in like a span of two hours!

While you're probably smiling in glee for that, I'm here ripping my hair out

That is because this stupid wattpad app on my iPod (and iPad) is so stupid and it's driving me crazy.

So I'll rant about it. Always helps.

Hopefully, if you use the app too, you can sympathize with me?

Here goes.

1. Invalid parameter shit

So quite a lot of the time, I'm trying to reply to you guys' comments then when it's sending, this thing just pops up saying

INVALID PARAMETER, END HAS TO BE BIGGER THAN START

or some shit like that. What the fuck is that? Like cool I may be getting A*s in chemistry (such a lie) but that certainly does not help me in this situation

There are 10 year olds on wattpad, do you think they understand what that shit means? And yes, I'm talking to YOU, wattpad app creators.

Fuck this okay I don't even understand that either

Please tell me what it means someone

2. Stupid reports comments

Why does wattpad feel that it is being responsible when it reports 'offensive' comments with words like "shit" and "fuck"? I find that so stupid

Then they allow it in books -_-

What's the point then?

Like you can write fuck fuck shit shit shit shit shit shit fuck like this in a book but noooooo, you can't do that if it's a comment, because that's offensive and is going under review.

But I guess that doesn't only happen in the app, it's also on the website.

It's still stupid anyway.

3. Organise the comments pls

A plus on using the app is that you can comment on particular sentences that you've highlighted.

But then, when I have to read the other comments (which are generally at the end of a chapter), they're mixed with all the fucking comments from the sentences so this is how my comment section looks like:

'Hahahahahahah:D'

'Lol I do that too!'

'Haha so true!'

'Me too!'

'#RandomHashtag'

'These are my dots.'

'No, they're mine'

So like I'm just there like which comment corresponds to which section lol

I never know what someone is talking about or referring to

So I literally have to sieve through every sentence now

GRRR

4. I didn't say shit

Wattpad needs to fix this.

Every time an author or whomever has replied to someone on another book, their book, my news feed is like

"*insert author's name here* replied to your comment."

You know what's funny? I didn't fucking comment and it's not my comment they're replying to. It's some random bastard's comment...on a book I don't even read.

So why the fuck is wattpad saying I replied?

Goddamit, get your shit together?!

5. Why u no change the numbers

So like right now, despite me updating and syncing my wattpad a million times, the last chapter has 2 comments and 7 votes.

Whatever. Grade me down like that.

6. IT'S ALWAYS UNDER FREAKING MAINTENANCE

I'm either updating this app like every day (okay, I exaggerate)

But a lot of the time it's always giving me this bullshit that it's under maintenance, even on the website

But it's still the same.

All these times you're under maintenance and you still can't get your shit together.
