~Silver's pov~

It had been almost a month since we first arrived back in Johto and I'd learnt more about Emma in this month than I had for the past two years I'd known her.

I'd learnt just how much Cyrus had originally messed her up and how she'd recovered, after hearing how much Emma was traumatised, it was no wonder she's like how she is. She didn't speak to anyone besides Pokémon for a whole year before she trusted Clair enough. She also barely ate, but then Emma doesn't eat much in general, and was scared of so many things I couldn't even list them all. Clair had explained that it wasn't until a few months before Emma was ten that she started trying to improve herself, training in different marshal arts, gymnastics and fighting styles. It was also when Emma stopped being afraid and started becoming closed in. She'd been like that ever since, well until she met us in Sinnoh and began to slowly open up, which had been extremely slow but compared to when we met her she's almost a completely different person now.

I snapped out of my thoughts by Hope jumping onto the couch next to me. Strange normally Emma took Hope and Trust out with her when she went out to train. "Where's Emma?" I asked the shiny Pokemon.

~Still sleeping. She didn't have a nightmare for the first time in who knows how long, so she's taking advantage of the sleep in.~

~Its a miracle.~ Trust agreed jumping next to Hope and curling into a ball. ~Although I like running around the forest in the mornings, a sleep in was awesome.~

I gave a nod. "How long until she should wake up?"

Hope shrugged. ~Who knows, she not normally one to stay in bed long so it won't be to much longer.~

There was the sound and someone sliding down the railing and walking into the living room. I turned to see Emma, she was wearing a simple pair of tracksuit pants with a brown, Eevee style tank top and her hair left out.

~Told ya.~

She yawned slightly and mumbled a good morning before heading to the kitchen, re-emerging a few moments later with a bowl of yogurt with some chopped up berries and a glass of what looked like Apple juice.

She sat down on the couch opposite me and started eating without saying anything. Within a few minutes she was done.

"Emma, your boyfriend's here." Clair called. "I have to go to the gym."

Red walked into the room, and sat next to Emma. I glared at him slightly, my protective brotherly indicts telling me the two so close together was a bad idea.

Emma sat her bowl on the table and looked up. "I think we should head to Kalos soon. A couple of days would be good."

"Are you sure?" Red frowned while wrapping his arms around Emma's shoulders.

I glared at him harder. "Red." I said warningly.

Emma narrowed her eyes at me. "Shut up Silver, it's not like Red's arm is going to kill me."

"If he doesn't move his arm I'm gonna kill him."

Emma rolled her eyes while Red removed his arm and held his arms up in surrender. "So is everyone alright if we leave tomorrow?" Emma asked looking at both of us.

"It's cool with me." Red smiled. "I'd go with you anywhere."

"You're so cheesy." Emma giggled, lightly elbowing him in the ribs.

I rolled my eyes at the two but didn't say anything. "Yeah, that sounds good."

"So it's settled then? I'll talk to Clair later."

Later that night, I was sitting in the lounge room with a few of Emma's Pokémon while she was sorting something out upstairs.

"How much longer will Emma do you think?" I asked Faith who was trying to wake Petunia up from sleeping on the opposite couch.

~I don't know. It's Hope's job to baby sit. I just like Emma.~ She shrugged. ~That and she saved my from Team Rocket so I sorta owed her.~ She poked the Deerling again and pouted. ~Ever since then it's been my job to make Emma smile every once in a while. Though it's a pain to get her to smile, I swear she has no sense if humour. ~

~You think Emma can be a pain you should see Night these days, eesh. Her and Acreus alone is something you don't want to see.~ Melody smirked. ~So far she's pranked half the Legendaries in the Legendary Council, stolen every legends signature item like Arceus's plates before being forced to return them, lit the lake on fire countless times and so much more. Though it is quite amusing to see Emma scold Night.~

Emma slid down the railing and landed without fault as usual. "Imma gonna train."

"Its like ten at night you're not going anywhere." I frowned.

"But I need to practice my aura skills. Aura and Blade say the best way is at night."

"You're not going out."

"But what could happen? Every Pokemon around here knows me and I have the worlds most kick ass Pokemon with me. No one would dare touch me at this point." Emma pointed out with a smirk.

~She should practice aura, just saying. Most attacks learnt with the Songs are focused using aura and at this point Emma needs all the focus she can get.~ Melody piped in.

"I'm going out whether you like it or not." She turned around and bolted out the door. "And you're not coming!"

Hope and Trust rolled their eyes before running after her, all three were gone before I could even get to the door.

Faith snorted. ~Typical.~ Then she smirked and flew over to Petunia. who was still sleeping casually on the lounge and sprayed her with a Water Gun before flying off.

Petunia shrieked before bolting after Faith in full rage mode.

I snorted before following them up stairs. "Typical." I smirked as Melody took my shoulder.

~You said it.~ She chuckled. ~Excuse me I need to make sure those two don't kill each other.~

~Emma's pov~

I closed my eyes and rested my head against Red's shoulder, finally on our way to Kalos on a plane that had just taken off. I'd had enough of boats for a while... for the rest of my life to be exact... so we were taking a plane.

We wouldn't be arriving in Kalos until tomorrow morning but I was keen of having a nightmare on a plane with a hundred or so people watching so was attempting to stay up for as long as I could, and Red had insisted on staying up with me since Silver had fallen asleep long ago.

Red wrapped his arms around me and rested his chin on the top of my head, gently running his fingers though my hair. "You tired yet?"

I shook my head lightly. "I'm good." I lied. I was up really early this morning so I hadn't had much sleep all day.

Thankfully, unlike Silver, Red couldn't always tell when I lied which I was pretty good at. "Okay."

We stared out the window at all the sparkling stars that glinted under the light of the moon. I wasn't completely exited to go to Kalos. It really close to Unova, on top of it to be precise and I wasn't to thrilled about it. Hopefully anyone I met in Unova will stay in Unova because I cannot name a single person I like that I met there.

I looked up at Red. "You know, don't have to stay up with me, I'm used to staying up."

Red shook his head. "I'll be fine Em."

I smiled as Red ran his fingers lightly though my hair, he lightly kissed my forehead. "Besides, Silver's not awake." He smirked.

I smiled back and closed my eyes, snuggling further into Red's arms. We were quiet for a moment, looking at the window at the swirls water and starry sky.

I got a sudden chill and it felt like the temperature dropped a few degrees making me shiver slightly. Not another freeze attack... if someone could come up with a better name for it I'd love to hear it since the author sucks at naming things...

"Red can you do me a favour and get my sleeping bag from the baggage compartment, it's happening again."

Red frowned but nodded as I sat up so her could grab it. I hugged myself as he stood up and opened the above baggage compartment, he moved things around before pulling down my pink, cherry blossom sleeping bag.

He handed it to me while closing the compartment and sitting back down. I pulled the sleeping bag out of its bag and wrapped it around me tightly. Red also pulled my into his arms and hugged me close to his chest as my temperature continued to lower. I started to shiver slightly.

It lasted about half an hour before 'the ice melted' so to say. Night had been unusually quiet the whole time but then she didn't talk to me 24/7, thank god.

"Better?" Red asked quietly.

I nodded and looked back up at him. "Thanks." I snuggled deeper into his chest and smiled.

We were quiet from that point on. Red eventually fell asleep but I stayed up the whole night, like I said I've done it plenty of times to avoid having nightmares, mainly when Night was still an evil little sociopathic bitch. Now she was just a bitch, flat and simple and she's admitted it multiple times.

That my friend is cause I am.

I shook my head slightly. Although she was dependable when needed, Night will always be Night.

"Please buckle your seat belt as the plane will be landing soon. We hope you enjoyed your flight and thank you for flying with Region to Region express."

~It's about freaken time.~ Faith huffed peering out the window.

~Aww, now you're being the party pooper, that's Emma's job. This has been fun.~ Trust giggled.

I rolled my eyes and clicked my seatbelt. Faith turned herself invisible while Trust curled up on my lap, the rest of my Pokemon were in there Pokéballs. I had Trixie the bubbly little Fennekin, Dreamer the almost silent Blitzel, Petunia the bipolar Deerling, Rioyaru my loveable Arcanine, Melody the Meloetta, Hope the shiny Umbreon and Guardian my Absol in my team. I wanted to let Trixie, Petunia and Dreamer gain experience while in Kalos, since they were all young I never had a chance to really level them up, and Guardian didn't have as much experience since she was my most recent Pokemon before I entered Sinnoh. I was going to take Twilight and Thunder with me but apparently Twilight and Thunder got together and... well let's just say she has a nest of eggs to take care of. I didn't mind though, I was proud of my Pokemon... I just don't know what I'm going to do with a litter if Shinx and Zorua. I'll jump that hurdle when I get there.

I gently stroked Trust behind the ears and looked at the Kalos region below us. We'd be arriving in Santalune City from where we would travel to Lumious City after challenging the gym there.

The nose of the plane dipped down and the feeling of my stomach knotting took place but for me it was much better than being in a boat.

That's for sure.

He he... I'm purposely making you wait for an update on 'Star struck? XD even though I've written the next three chapters already. I'm so mean. This was also kinda rushed cause I want to get to the battles and kidnapping and f... never mind. I got over exited.... -.-"
