Why people love Super Saiyan so much?!

I never seen it (any seasons), only played a bit into, Dragon Ball was it, I guess? On PSP

The only thing I loved was "You can tune a piano, but you can't tune a fish!" Line, but that line I saw in one of Super Mario Bros Heroes of The Stars Episodes (Bowser saying it and making Mario shocked with a "I CAN'T WHAT?!")

Anyway... I lately finding lots of crossovers with these...
