Horror Dreamswap!Chaos

Okay, we can blame MoonfurTheTemmie for this one. She came up with the idea for Horror Dreamswap, and I was like, I like this... Can I make a Horror Dreamswap version of my Dreamswap character, and she was like, 'Do it!' Please read her notes on her Horror Dreamswap AU, in her story 'Crap I wrote', to get a better understanding of the AU itself, and it's characters.

So, here they are... And proceed with caution, there's going to be blood, gore, mentions of torture and murder, brainwashing, kidnapping, cults and demonic possession... And don't forget the Yandere!

---

So, some things haven't changed, Chaos still grows up with Dream and Nightmare, and she gets a front row seat to the villagers worshipping Dream and them thinking that Nightmare is a demon.

Of course, my girl is totally immune to their auras, and much to the disappointment of the other villagers, spends the time that they use to worship Dream and demonise Nightmare doing useful things... Like learning how to heal using herbs, poking any bandits that approach the village with sharp, pokey things, and generally being the closest thing to the Sane One out of her, Dream and Nightmare.

Of course, she literally gets to watch as Nightmare (Pluto) starts to get rid of the villagers that hurt him... Where do you think that he got the sharp, pokey things that he used on them? She literally creates the idea of 'If I didn't see it, it didn't happen'. This gets extended to Cross and Error when they join them. You scream for help? She covers her ears and she hums a song. This gets easier when headphones are invented.

It doesn't help that she's a bit insane herself, and it gets worse after the Apple Massacre, when she's cursed with some form of immortality, and she gets her magic potential unlocked, as a side effect of being too close when the Apples are eaten.

She becomes a discreet Yandere when it comes to Nightmare, you upset him, and she'll find a way for Nightmare to kill you, or to get rid of you by saying that you're protesting against JR. She literally eggs him on when it comes to certain murders, and it spreads to Cross (Slash) and Error after she becomes friends with them. She generally can be reasoned with, and the Yandere dies down as she gets used to her new role in life, her abilities, and the fact that she can't die, but it will flare up if something happens to the Meme Squad.

She's literally the Master of plausible deniability, automatically giving abilis for her friends and covering for them. She knows that they are murdery beans, and she just doesn't care, she's doesn't have the energy for that.

She knows that Dream (Delusion) is Mostly Just A Guy, and she loves mocking him about this, sharing stories about a young Dream that no one should know, and she hates the Positive Apple Spirit Elf parts. She has a Notebook filled with various different ways that she wants to use to destroy this part, and she has a separate Notebook for her plans to destroy his Perfect World plan. She gets hissy when she hears anything that's a part of Dream's 'Perfect World' plan.

She ties with Error (Byte) for being the least murdery of the Meme Squad, but she does have her own streak of murders... Mostly with frying pans, or other kitchen tools, because she's the only one that is a decent cook... Actually, all of them are decent cooks, but she's the only cook who can cook normal looking food. The results of the others cooking can be slightly more gorey, as in they try to use food to recreate murder scenes for shits and giggles.

She's not very fond of Ink (Gouge), mainly due to her fear of spiders, and Ink has a pet tarantula named Terry. Her phobia of Spiders was born when the villagers tried to force her into worshipping Dream by throwing her into Spider Pits. Ink loves using this against her whenever she manages to grab her for some in field experiments.

She doesn't mind Blue (Hunter) that much. She's okay with him, she just has problems with him working with Dream, and she doesn't mind having the occasional chat with him, as long as she doesn't have to go to his house to do that. She's not that stupid, but she is nice enough to walk him back to his house, if she has the time.

She and Kevin get along well. They are pretty close, she does help Nightmare look after him, but she always has an emergency slice of pie that she'll give to Kevin if the world is about to end.

She does know about the offshoot of the Apple Cult that worships Nightmare, and she has 1001 plans, and even more back up plans, to deal with them, but you're not allowed to tell Nightmare about them... Those that do that disappear... She is not very fond of them, especially after they tried to use her blood to summon Nightmare during a ritual... Which didn't work and it ended with their brains and dust being splattered across the ceiling, walls, and the floor. She's avoided them ever since... They think that she's a lesser demon that Nightmare summoned to be his personal healer since her Primary Magic is Green, with a Secondary in Purple, but she does have the potential to use Yellow Magic too.

Because of this, she does know about Bobby (Fester), Randy (Pulaski), and Hacker (Spindle), and while she does feel sorry for Randy and Hacker, she can't do anything to help them because she doesn't want Bobby anywhere near Nightmare... But if she happens to run in to Randy and he finds some Monster Healing Candy in one of his pockets afterwards, well.. she didn't have anything to do with that.

Finch (Sparrow) is a whole other story, these two are literally best buds, if they ever met... Mainly because both of them seem to have different shades of being the Sane One. Finch just wants to help the Multiverse, she just wants to help her friends, and they have about the same level of brainwashing, but the only problem is that her's is slightly broken, and depending on when, and how, they meet, she can become something similar to the final girl, if she isn't killed off for being the Sane One.

Ani... They're not important, they're just your Typical Angry Ghost.

Oh, and her main nickname is literally Sanity, but she will accept Hum, Panda, and Midnight as backup nicknames, mainly because of her love of humming along to the music that she's listening to, and the fact that she has insomnia, giving her bags under her eyes from her lack of sleep, and when it's combined with her pale skin, she looks like a panda. Her skin is pale because of the fact that she never seems to have a tan, and her tenacity to wear hoodies, prescription sunglasses, and a face mask to hide her identify from JR. She needs prescription glasses to see and her hair is usually in a low ponytail. She does have a few scars of her own.

Sanity prefers to wear black and yellow coloured clothing, but she has a chest filled with clothes in different colors to use when she's doing things like shopping for food and supplies. Most of Sanity's facemasks have different images on them, they're mostly cartoonish cat faces, but she does own some with images of sharp, pointy teeth.

And don't insult any human or monster that is LGBTQIA+ when she's close enough to hear you do that. She'll steal one of the Squad's knifes and she'll gut you for that, wherever you might be, even if it's in public. Sanity actually prefers she/they pronouns, but they don't care what you use for them, as long as they aren't called a guy. They have issues with that.

In the Delusional, and Red Sky, endings, Sanity usually follows the path of all the Sane Ones, and she gets killed, either on accident, when she tries to stop Slash from doing something stupid in the Delusional ending, and she accidentally kills them, or she's offed by the bad guy because they're a threat to their plan. Fester basically uses her to send a warning to any resistance that wants to take him out by brutally murdering Sanity when they try to kill him after they snap when Pluto dies right in front of them.

But in the Final Girl Finch Ending, Sanity gets upgraded to being something familiar like the final girl, thanks to the fact that she's in the area when Finch and Randy meet, and they end up joining their conversation, helping Randy explain some things to Finch, thanks to the fact that they have had their own encounter with similar dipshits to the ones that summoned the demon that's in Bobby's body.

They help Finch with his research on Demony Shit, and she's literally there when Finch becomes the Protagonist, and she can bring in magic, experience, and being the Only Girl when it's time for the Boss Battle. This literally stops her from dying during the battle, even if she's only a girl about 50% of the time, and thanks to working with Finch, they develop their potential to use Yellow Magic, and it becomes one of her Secondary Magics.

She also tells Finch about the in field experiments that Ink did on her when Finch finds out about Ink's experiments on his coworkers, and when Finch has to gather evidence to expose Ink and Dream, she's one of his sources but she also ends up owning up to the fact that they are the reason that some of Ink's victims ended up dead, and they literally march themselves into a cell to arrest themselves. They also admit to using kitchen tools as murder weapons, and while Finch is upset with them, like Blue, they actually end up in the Normal Cells, much to their surprise.

Mainly because Finch is actually impressed that she admitted what she did, and she had enough sanity to turn herself in. She gets therapy like the main 6, and Finch has seen that while she was working with him, some parts of her mind where snitching themselves back together, and once he knows that she grew up with Nightmare and Dream, he knows that on some level, her mind is just as deeply fricked as their minds are. She ends up being his right hand woman, or whatever she wants to call herself, once she's well enough to leave the cells.

She's not sane, but thanks to Finch, she actually gets as close as she can get to being sane, but she does visit the Meme Squad a lot, and they take care of Kevin when the usual caretaker can't take care of him.
