Cross was the only one in the base when Error came for a visit, the Oreo skeleton was wrapped up in blankets and clutching at a mug of hot chocolate while he was sitting on the couch and he was attempting to watch a movie.

"Cross?" Error walked over to him. "Are you okay?"

"I'm just a little cold." Cross sneezed. "Nightmare and the others are out, I'm sorry that you came such a long way for nothing."

"Actually, I wanted to talk to you and the others, I have someone to introduce you to."

"Who?" Cross asked, before he noticed that one of Error's pockets were moving. A head popped out of it, revealing an Axetale Temmie with messy hair, half opened eyes and only one ear, the other ear was mauled.

"This is Chaos, I've adopted her." Error pulled her out of his pocket before he placed her on Cross's chest. "And she's harmless, unless you feed her too much Skittles, then she becomes a little monster. Dream's scared of her but then again, I have been dumping her into the Star Sans meetings when she's that high and I have videos."

Cross laughed, waking up the Temmie on his chest, he looked down and their eyes met.

And in that moment, a bond was created, between two souls affected by their pasts, a bond that wouldn't be noticed until it was nearly torn apart by a cruel being.

One had lost his AU and everyone in it.

The other, only knew silence, from the day that she woke up without any of her memories.

Both of them had been rescued by those who could be called the bad guys, but to these two, they came, long after they almost gave up hope that someone would come for them.

"Hi." The Oreo skeleton gulped. "I'm Cross."

"And I'm Chaos." The Temmie said. "Are you one of Nightmare's gang?"

"Yeah." Cross started to scratch the back of her good ear. "I am. You live with Error now, right? Where did he find you?"

"Axetale! And not one of those stupid copies that he told me about! I'm from the original!"

Cross looked at Error, did this mean that Error now knew what was wrong with Axetale? Error just shook his head. "I don't know what's wrong." He said. "But I do know one thing, everyone in Axetale is trapped in a coma and the only one to escape, was left with silence and the cold for friends. The entire AU is frozen Cross."

"And I don't know what happened." Chaos said as she curled up on Cross's chest. "All that I have ever known is the cold and the silence, nothing else, I can't remember anything before that, until Error came and saved me."

"And you know what it is like to live like that, don't you Cross?" Error asked him.

The Oreo nodded his head, he knew what it felt like. He watched as Error started to set up some kind of home movie. "What is this?" He asked Error.

"I've recorded some of the times that she has crashed the meetings, I thought that we could watch them until everyone comes home." Error told him.

Cross smiled, settling back down in his blanket cocoon, that sounded like a good idea.
