The sound of feet against the floor echoed throughout the lab, the one responsible for that noise, that was running, looked back, only to gasp as something came around the corner.

They ran faster, taking another corner and almost tripping over their own feet as they tried to keep their balance. They would see an elevator right in front of them and they crashed into it, pressing the button rapidly in order to close the door.

Their eyes were wide in fear as that thing came around the corner, right as the doors started to close, they scrambled back as far as they could in the elevator, hoping that the doors would close in time.

The thing slammed right into the elevator after it closed and they breathed a sigh of relief, this was the furthest that they had ever gotten from this thing. They almost collapsed where they stood but they knew that they weren't out of the woods, this was only the beginning.

They pressed the 'up' button on the control panel, feeling the elevator go up as they caught their breath, this was it, one final dash and they would be free.

They blotted out of the elevator as soon as the door opened, taking a corner and just running for it.

They heard the thing coming, they had to get out of here! They needed to find their friends, their sister! Fear gave them the speed that they needed to go faster, the unknown soon gave away to passageways that they knew, that they recognised.

They were so close, just a little bit more and they would be free!

They could see the light, they were so close but hope was cruelly taken away from them, something wrapped around her ankle, causing them to fall.

They were winded but they didn't let it stop them, they crawled, trying to reach that light.

Darkness started to wrap around their other ankle and their wrists, dragging them back into the darkness, kicking and screaming.

"NO!" They yelled, reaching out, right before they were pulled away from the light and everything went black.

"NO!!!" She screamed as she woke up, only to realise that she was being held by someone. "Dad?"

"Shhhhh Chaos." Error muttered into her intact ear. "It's okay, I've got you now, everything's going to be okay."

Chaos sniffed before she started to cry into Error's shoulder, feeling her Dad comfort her by patting her back, her eyes grew heavy and she yawned, right before she cuddled closer to Error and she fell asleep.

"Goodnight Chaos." Error said, before he frowned. He had learned how to tell the difference between a natural nightmare and one caused by Nightmare, but this, it wasn't a nightmare, it was a memory.

"What the hell happened to you before I found you Chaos?" Error asked. "There is more to your story that meets the eye, and this is not normal, does it have something to do with why you don't have any memories from the time before everyone fell into a coma in Axetale..."

There was too many questions and no answers.
