Iyaan's heart raced as he rushed towards the elevator, his fingers frantically pressing the button in a desperate bid to escape the horrors that had unfolded on the fifteenth floor. With each passing moment, the fear that gripped him grew stronger, driving him to the brink of panic.

As the metallic doors slid open, Iyaan wasted no time in crawling inside, pulling Tenuk along with him. The sensation of safety washed over them as the doors sealed shut, momentarily shielding them from the nightmare that lurked beyond.

But even as they huddled together in the confined space of the elevator, their minds still reeling from the horrors they had witnessed, the weight of their terror bore down upon them like a crushing weight. Tears streamed down their faces as they clung to each other, their sobs echoing off the cold metal walls.

The security camera mounted in the corner of the elevator captured the harrowing scene, transmitting the images to the surveillance room where the guard watched in growing concern. Without hesitation, he alerted Aadam, the manager, to the distressing situation unfolding on the fifteenth floor.

With a sense of urgency, Aadam rushed towards the elevator, his heart pounding in his chest as he braced himself for what he might find. When the doors slid open on the first floor, his worst fears were realized as he saw Iyaan and Tenuk lying unconscious on the floor, their faces contorted in anguish.

Without hesitation, Aadam called for medical assistance, his voice trembling with concern as he relayed the situation to the emergency services. Within minutes, the sound of approaching sirens filled the air as an ambulance arrived to transport the two boys to safety.

As the confused staff looked on in bewilderment, Aadam could only watch helplessly as the ambulance carried Iyaan and Tenuk away, their ordeal far from over.

Tenuk's consciousness stirred as his eyelids lifted, revealing the sterile white expanse of the hospital ceiling above. The antiseptic scent of medicine permeated the air, mingling with the faint aroma of fresh fruits and flowers that drifted in from a nearby bouquet. Despite the unfamiliar surroundings, he remained still, his gaze fixated on his hands as he clenched and released his fists in a repetitive motion.

However, a sense of unease began to gnaw at him as his thoughts turned to the color white. The purity of the hue seemed to suffocate him, triggering a surge of terror that coursed through his veins. With a sudden jolt, he pushed the white sheets away, kicking out into the air as he clutched his head with both hands, his eyes tightly shut in fear.

In the darkness behind his eyelids, haunting images flickered to life. Black hands, twisted and grotesque, slithered closer to his bed, their sinister intent palpable. With chilling precision, they cradled the severed remains of Alya, Melacca, and Aishah, arranging the macabre pieces around Tenuk's sleeping companion, Iyaan. The air grew heavy with dread as Tenuk watched in horror, paralyzed by the nightmarish tableau unfolding before him.

In a sudden, jarring moment, Iyaan's eyes snapped open, and he recoiled in terror at the sight of the black hands and the lifeless bodies that surrounded him. Before he could utter a sound, the hands lunged forward, their grip closing around his throat with a vice-like pressure.

"IYAAN NO!" Tenuk's anguished cry pierced the air, his voice echoing with raw desperation as he fought against the suffocating grip of his own nightmares. Yet, the darkness only seemed to deepen, ensnaring them both in a twisted realm of terror from which there was no escape.

"Iyaan!" Tenuk's voice cracked with emotion as he shot up from his bed, his eyes wide with panic. "Where is Iyaan? Iyaan-"

Aadam rushed to Tenuk's side, his hands clasped together in distress. "Ah! You are awake!"

Frantically, Tenuk scanned the room, his heart pounding in his chest. "Iyaan...where is Iyaan? Iyaan-"

"Calm down, Tenuk," Aadam urged, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "He is on the bed next to yours-"

Before Aadam could finish his sentence, Tenuk leaped from his bed and darted towards Iyaan's, his movements fueled by fear and desperation.

"Tenuk!" Aadam's voice rang out, but it fell on deaf ears as Tenuk threw himself onto the bed beside Iyaan, shaking him in a frantic attempt to wake him.

Iyaan stirred, blinking dazedly in the harsh hospital light. Confusion clouded his features until his gaze landed on Tenuk, who was now openly weeping beside him. With a sudden surge of urgency, Iyaan sat up, his own panic rising at the sight of Tenuk's distress.

"Iyaan...thank god, thank god..." Tenuk's voice trembled with relief as he clung to Iyaan, his hands shaking uncontrollably.

Iyaan's brow furrowed in concern. "Where..."

"A hospital room," Aadam interjected, his voice thick with emotion. "You were both passed out in the elevator. What had happened?"

"What happened- ah! Her! It's her! She did everything!" Tenuk's words spilled out in a frantic rush, his breaths coming in short, ragged gasps.

Confusion flickered across Aadam's face as he turned to Iyaan for clarification.

"No, nothing, Aadam Abang," Iyaan interjected quickly, his voice strained. "He is just stressed out."

"Stressed about what?" A new voice cut through the tension, drawing their attention to the doorway where Inspector Johan stood, his expression stern.

Iyaan greeted the inspector respectfully, but the weight of their shared terror hung heavy in the air as Johan pressed for answers.

"Me and Tenuk were about to leave after cleaning up Nur Cik's room when Tenuk suggested we should wait for Alya," Iyaan began, his voice shaky as he recounted the events of the evening. "Since the incident, we didn't really think it was right to let her be alone there. The door was half open. Me and Tenuk entered in and found..."

As Iyaan's words trailed off, the room fell silent, the gravity of his revelation sinking in with chilling clarity. The horrors they had witnessed seemed unimaginable, yet their reality was undeniable, etched into their minds with harrowing detail.

"....are you both okay?" Inspector Johan's voice cut through the heavy silence, his concern evident in his gaze as he surveyed the two boys. Aadam mirrored the inspector's worry, his eyes flickering between Iyaan and Tenuk.

Iyaan's response was a simple nod, his hand moving instinctively to stroke Tenuk's head as the boy nestled into his arms like a frightened turtle seeking refuge.

Nur approached them, her presence bringing a sense of calm amidst the chaos. Her gentle smile was a balm to their frayed nerves as she offered words of reassurance. Iyaan managed a small smile in return, a silent acknowledgment of her comforting presence.

"Keep your cool, Iyaan," he advised himself in his head. "If you freak out here in front of her, there's no telling what might happen next..."

Tenuk remained silent, his focus solely on Iyaan. His thoughts were consumed by concern for his friend, the weight of their shared ordeal pressing down on him like a suffocating blanket.

Inspector Johan interjected, addressing Nur with a sense of urgency. "This goes beyond attempted murder. It's dangerous for the kids and for us."

Nur nodded in agreement, her expression serious. "The investigation has begun. This case is definitely related to the previous two girls who died in your building. But until then, I suggest you shut down your clinic-"

"As their senior, I care for them the most," Nur interrupted, her tone firm yet compassionate. "But I have other people I must care about too. I can't leave my clients like this. Please understand."

Johan considered her words for a moment before suggesting, "Then let the kids take a break-"

"That can be done. It should be done," Nur agreed, turning to Aadam for confirmation.

Aadam sighed, resigned. "Why would I even say no. I told them not to come this week as well, but they showed up anyway."

"You kids should stop being so stubborn," Johan chided gently.

Iyaan's voice was measured as he explained their predicament. "Yeah, well, we don't have enough saved up to pay the bills, sir."

"Why do you kids even live alone..." Johan's sigh was heavy with concern. "How about security? I'll accompany you kids to and from work."

"Thank you," Iyaan murmured gratefully.

After they were discharged from the hospital, Iyaan and Tenuk made their way towards Tenuk's apartment. The weight of their ordeal hung heavy in the air, their steps sluggish with exhaustion and apprehension. As they approached the main gates, Iyaan's resolve wavered. Calling out Nur was a risk they couldn't afford to take; their lives hung in the balance if she discovered they knew about her involvement in Alya's murder.

His legs gave out beneath him, and he sank to the ground with a heavy sigh. Tenuk gripped his shoulders, his own fear palpable as he grappled with the terrifying reality of their situation.

"Tenuk... I'm moving in," Iyaan declared, his voice firm with determination.
