Why...?

Idk why, but I had this dream where something sad happened in the Undertale world. Don't wanna spoil it though. So I decided, why not write a little oneshot on it? This would be my first story where there's no ship (well I guess there'll be a little, considering the circumstances)

So, without further adieu, let's begin!

A grave in the middle of a flower bed glimmered, the monsters whom were standing around it gazing at it sadly. How had she died again?

...Oh right. That ridiculous fight.

{Flashback}

"Tori, please! Just consider it for a second!" Asgore pleaded with his ex.

"No, Asgore. That claim is ridiculous. I can't believe you'd insist such a thing!" She barked, clearly not happy.

"But you have been spending more time with him, and he looks like he's taken a liking to you. Though, I just don't think he's the right guy for you, Tor-"

"What, you think you're the perfect man??? You're an IDIOT, Asgore!! A dull creature!!" Toriel fumed, stomping out the door. Asgore started tearing up behind her, his head hung in shame.

Toriel went to her car (yes this is on the surface) and turned the ignition on, backing away from the driveway. She turned onto the road, slamming the pedal as she zoomed by. 'What made him think such a thing?!' Her rage made her go faster, and before she reached the highway...

...A train drove right into the side of her car.

Seems that she drove over some train tracks that she didn't pay attention to. The impact from the train had broke her bones, also giving her a heart attack. So, in other words:

It killed her instantly.

When the paramedics had arrived, it was already too late. She... was gone.

{End of flashback}

Most of the monsters had left the room, except for 7:

Frisk, Flowey, Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys... and Asgore.

'Mom...' Frisk thought, a tear rolling down her cheek. Toriel was her foster mother, a very kind one at that. Frisk couldn't think of a day where Toriel didn't make her smile at least once. But now that she was gone...

Frisk excused herself, going to cry in a corner. She didn't want the others to see their ambassador in her weak state.

'Mother...' Flowey thought. He still had his memories of when he was Asriel... but for some reason, he still couldn't feel a thing. He just looked at the sculpted stone, a blank expression wiped across his face. He really wished he would feel something right about now...

'My queen...' Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys thought, tears in their eyes. For the time that they knew Toriel, she had been their mother. Their go-to person. And now... She was gone. No way to dance around it. Undyne dare not let herself cry, as Alphys and Papyrus cried into her.

'My ex...' Asgore thought. He hated the fact that the last time he talked with Toriel was before she got hit. And it was a fight, too. He really felt like an idiot... He hung his head in sorrow.

'...My love...' Sans thought. Asgore was right, he had taken a liking towards her; and he was pretty sure she felt the same. But now? He could never talk with her again. He wiped away a neon blue tear that leaked out of his eyesocket, sniffling softly.

This group of family and friends was like a building, Toriel being the base. When Toriel left, all the other walls collapsed on each other.

"Toriel..." They all said in unison.

". . . W e ' l l   m i s s   y o u ."

Please tell me some of you cried. That was my intention. :3
