The next day i got called to the office at the end of my second block to go to the doctor. My mom was there waiting. I hobbled outside to her car. "So what are you thiking for lunch?" She asked me. "Just whatever." I said. "How's olive garden?" She asked. "Fine by me." So we drove to olive garden and got a seat.

                       My appointment wasn't for another hour. "So how was school today?" "Crap just like every other day of the week." "And therapy?" "You know i don't like telling you about that but she thinks i should go talk to alysas friends." "And what do you think?" "I don't really see any other choice, i'm just hoping they know something, anythng. at this point i'll take any informantion i can get."

                      "Thats good, i just worry about you." "Why?" "Because you tried to kill yourself once already maybe you'll go back to that dark place. "Mom I wish I knew why I tried that. I was upset sure but I've never thought about killing myself. Because that gets you therapy." I tried to joke. "I am sorry about that i just wish i knew why i did it." I said clearing my throat. "Me to kid, You really scared your father and I. "I'm sorry." I said. "It's alright I can't wait for things to go back to normal."

                         "I don't know if things will ever be normal for me." "Sure they will, things will get easier. But it's gonna take some time you can't rush it." Finally when we had got done eating we headed to the dr's office.

                      Sitting in the beige waiting room was really boring. And all the magazines on the table where geared to...anybody but me. "Chase?" The nurse said sticking her head out the door. We stood up and walked back into the room.

                   The dr proceded to take my cast off so he could get one more xray just to make sure it was fully healed. He agreed it was and asked me to try walking on it. It was a bit wobbly so he gave me a brace and told me to wear it unil i got used to walking with out the cruches. We thanked him and then left. My mom agreed i could have the rest of the day off. The weekend again coudln't go by slow enough.

                      Monday at school. It was d day, time for me to go and talk to Alysa's friends. I was not looking forward to this at all. But it had to be done.  People gave me odd looks i don't know if it was becase i didn't have my cast anymore or if it was because i was walking towards Alysa's friends. They looked up, saw me coming and started talking madly to one another. Probably trying to decide if they should bolt or not.

                      When we were all sitting down they looked at me expectantly. "Well i don't know how much you guys know about everything." I started off saying. "But i guess i should tell you everything so you're clued in, and if i'm missing anything or you know something i don't please tell me. I'm still missing some stuff from that night and a few days before."

                   One of the guys had a look on his face. I wasn't sure what it was a look of. "So me and Alysa were friends for a while, she liked me." They nodded letting me know they knew she liked me. "I guess i got her pregnant." One of the guys cleared his throat.

                 "Did she tell you that?" I nodded. "In the car. Or at least that's what I think." "No she coudln't have." He answered back. "Why not?" "Well she told us that she had already told you about being pregnant like two weeks before that." He said. I tried to process what he was saying. If alysa hadn't told me in the car she was pregnant then what did she tell me?

                     A girl spoke up next. "And she wasn't pregnant." None of this was making since how was she not pregnant? "So we just slept together and she lied?!" I was getting a bit ticked off. "No, you and her didn't sleep together. Thats why she was so mad and hurt. She said you kissed her a bit but pretty much turned her down don't you remember that?"

                     "Guys i don't know if you know this but i forgot pretty much everything after all this happened." "Why didn't you come and ask us?" Tommy asked laughing like I was being ridiculous and maybe I was. "Because you guys gave me death stares i thought you hated me.                         

                       "No it was guilt after what Jerry here did." They said poiting to a guy in the circle. "What do you mean?" "That's where she got the drugs from." "THE DRUGS." I said luckily there was so much noise in the room nobody turned to look. "What do you mean drugs?" "That was her plan, to drug you so that you would sleep  with her. Then you'd feel obligated to be with her. I guess it backfired."

                     "What do you mean?" "That's the real reason she brought you that shirt and note so she could put stuff in your drink that night." "That's probably why you tried to kill yourself. Thats one of the side effects. We figure that she got pretty freaked out by that and chickened out of her plan. Besides she felt bad for what she did anyways." "Right she was going to keep trying until it worked."

                     I leaned my head back. As i did i had another vision.  Alysa and i were in the car again. This time i saw what really happened. "I had so much fun!" I said smiling. "Yea at least you only had two drinks i had like a lot." She said slurring. "Isn't that bad for the baby?" I asked her. "Huh? Oh...Chase i have to tell you something. I'm not pregnant. I told you that i was but im not."

                   "What why would you do that?" She started to cry. "I don't know because you believed you and I had slept together and I just wanted to be with you. "You mean you lied to me?" "Yes i guess i don't know im so sorry i didn't mean to and i wish i could take it all back." "Well you can't, you knew i liked Shelby why would you do that?"

                    "I don't know that's not really like me." "No it's not then why did you do it?" "I tried some drugs...i was so depressed that you didn't want me and i didn't know what else to do. Chase im so sorry." "Look i'll forgive you if you promise you won't take any more drugs ok. That is seriously so stupid." "Sure no more drugs."

                   "And i think we need some time apart." "That really hurts." She said wiping at her eyes. "I know I'm sorry but I just need some time to think." She looked up. "Chase look out!" There was a car in our lane i swirved to miss the car and woke up in the hospital.

                   "Chase..chase are you ok?" They all started calling my name. I sat up. "No!" I screamed. "Whats wrong?" Alli asked. "I saw everything!" "What do you mean?" "In the car the night of the accident. I saw her face...the pain...the fear...how mean to her i was." I wanted to cry. How could I have been so mean?

                      "You didn't know she was going to die that night. If she had lived you would've made the right decision." Tommy said. "I guess your right." "Were sorry we didn't come tell you this sooner. We thought you knew and we really felt bad. Is there anything else we can do for you? I mean we told the police everything we know." Alli said.

                     "Jerry i need to know what the name of the drug was." He looked scared. "I'm not going to give anybody your name, if the cops ask me where she got the drugs i'll tell them i don't know." He wrote down a long name on a sheet of paper and i put it in my pocket.I grabbed my tray and my stuff and got up. "Thank you guys you have been more then helpful, i need to go." I said taking my tray to dump it.

                      I went to the office. "Would you mind if i borrowed the phone i need to call home?" "Are you sick?" She asked looking at me funny. "No but something is deffinatly wrong." I called my moms work first. "Mom." I said half screaming and half crying into the phone. "Chase what is it?" She asked scared. "I need you to come get me." "Why what's wrong?" "I remember everything." "Oh no is it good news or bad?" "I'll tell you when you get here."

                          I sat in the chair and waited. Shelby came in to drop some papers off. She stopped short when she saw me. "Woah you look like your dog just died are you ok?" She asked taking a seat next to me. "No I remember everything." I said my voice hoarse. "Really?" She asked. I nodded.  "I talked to Alysa's friends. They told me some stuff and it all came back. Alysa was never pregnant. Because we never slept together."

                         "What?" "Yea she slipped some drugs in my drink that night. Honestly I remember that night being very fuzzy but I also remember thinking it was you I was kissing." I said brushing a hair out of her eyes. "Awe, Chase that's...sweet. And I'm sorry all of this had to happen to you." "Me too, it's made life very interesting." I said. "Ok I've got to get to class but when you settle all of this with the police. Call me maybe we can go out now that you don't have your cast anymore." I smiled. "Ok thanks." Then she left.
