"So you have a fanboy crush on Okumura-senpai?" Bon concluded. He'd been talking with Shima and Konekomeru about their training and Meisters and Shima had told them about Rin and his mysterious past and how he wanted to know more about the mysterious guy while they were waiting for the teacher to come in.
"What? No! I'm just curious! Besides, even if I did have a crush on him, lemme just say, he's smokin' hot, so that should not be a surprise to anybody." Shima defended himself. Then he smirked. "Besides, you admire Okumura-sensei a bit more than a regular student, don't you?" Bon spluttered while Konekomeru laughed nervously. His two best friends were falling from the path of a monk more and more.....
"Aren't you supposed to be monks? A man with a man is considered wrong- doing." Izumo entered the classroom in all her bitchy glory. She was the only one that couldn't stand Rin for some reason.
"Oh yeah? Well so is you being alive just to make everyone miserable." Bon grumbled.
She ignored him and sat down in her seat with a huff. Bon frowned and stood. "What's your problem? Mind your own business, Polka-Brows." He growled. Konekomeru and Shima sweat dropped. Oh dear.....
Izumo's chair screeched as she stood up as well, glaring with her ruby-red eyes. "I don't have a problem, I'm just pointing out the facts. Why do you always get so pissed whenever I talk?" She responded. By now, Shiemi had walked in and now looked nervously between the two. Should I get between them?
Bon marched over and his friends followed carefully, ready to hold him back at any moment. "Because you never have anything good to say! You waste your breath insulting people and their decisions!" Bon pointed out. They were face to face now, Izumo glaring up at the taller. "He's not wrong." Shima agreed.
"Why do you care? It doesn't affect you! I can handle myself, unlike you, who just sits and chants things while everyone else does the work!" Izumo snarled.
"Wrong!" A voice rang out from the doorway. They all turned to Rin, standing there and watching. He looked at all of them with disapproving Sapphire-blue eyes and sighed. "Shiemi, Shima, Konekomeru, come here." He ordered. They obeyed and stood in front of Rin nervously. He put his hands on Shiemi and Shima's shoulders. Then he nodded to the two still glaring at each other. "Go ahead. Your friends won't hold you back now." He said. He got complaints from the three in front of him as the two in the middle of the classroom raised their hands to hit each other.
"But,"
They hesitated and their eyes shifted back to him. "There is a catch. Exorcists are supposed to work together. They work in teams because the more there are, the stronger they are against a demon. If you do this right now, you'll be kicked from the program by yours truly." Rin continued. He didn't actually have that authority, but they didn't know that.
They all gaped at him and he raised his eyebrows. "Well? Not going to do it now? That's good, at least your hearts are in the right place. Of course now you both have to serve detention in here after Cram School today so you can hopefully figure out how to get along or at least tolerate each other. If not, then I'll have to try something else." He finished, lightly pushing the three towards their friends.
Shiemi stumbled over to Izumo, fussing over her. Konekomeru and Shima just pulled Bon back to his seat, fully agreeing with their mentor. Yukio may be a teacher, but he was stiff and logical. Rin was more of a hands-on kind of guy, which was why he was a good mentor and would probably be a better teacher. He really didn't want to be a mentor, but they guessed the woman that was known as "Boobzilla" was someone Rin didn't want them to know until they became Exorcists and were more mature.
The Grimoir Studies teacher walked in and Rin jumped out the open window before she could see him. He'd always hated this class and he wasn't sitting through any more than he'd already had to when he was an ExWire. The students sweat dropped. Even doesn't like this class....

"I kinda wish I had the power to expel them from cram school. Why can't they just work together? It's really not that hard. You don't even have to like each other, for Christ's sake! Just fight as a team and you'll be fine. All you have to know is how to work with what you got!" Rin complained, tipping back in his chair. "Nii-san, did you finish your homework?" Yukio asked. Rin sighed. "Aaaaand you didn't listen at all. Nice. You people are all assholes."
"I listened!" Yukio said. Rin snorted. "What was the last thing I said?" He questioned. Silence. "Exactly." He responded. Yukio sighed. "Rin, we all have work to do. How are you possibly not getting any work from the Grigori?" He wondered, filling out another mission report.
Rin grinned. "Oh, I'm just a weapon. They always have someone to watch how the mission goes and they do the reports. They don't trust me to be honest since I'm the Son of Satan. About the only thing that works out for me!" Rin cackled. Yukio grumbled and finished the report.
"How is that going, by the way?" Yukio questioned. Rin sighed. "It sucks. Like always. That's never gonna change as long as I'm treated like a pet every day. You know they put a collar on me." Rin answered.
Yukio nodded. Of course he knew about the collar.
He'd suggested it.
Rin was too dangerous to be out in the world with a sword. And Yukio knew for a fact that if it came down to it and Demons invaded, Rin would most likely be the last survivor. He was smart, efficient, and strong. He could take care of himself. Though, knowing Rin, he'd probably save as many people as he could and end up dying anyways....
Rin could never know it was Yukio's fault he couldn't escape. But in Yukio's defense, Rin was a perfect weapon and they could actually stand against the Illuminati because of it. There was a bigger picture to see rather than looking at one person's misfortunes and giving them what they want while keeping them from what they want could save the world.
They couldn't lose him now. Yukio wanted to feel bad, but all he felt was relief. Rin couldn't hurt anyone on missions. The collar would stop him. It was a cursed artifact–if Rin ever lost control and let too much power slip out, the object would attack his nerves until Rin was unable to function for a time and therefore unable to lose control.
Rin wanted to believe Yukio had still loved him when they were kids, but Yukio just couldn't bring himself to. He was scared Rin would break the seal and kill them all with that endless, hay tingly beautiful power he'd inherited from their father. Leaving him alone was the best course of action. There was no one to hurt then.
Rin was gone before Yukio could say anything more.
Rin knew Yukio couldn't stand him, but they were stuck in the same dorm because Rin wasn't trusted. And Rin hated that. But he wasn't depressed enough to kill himself, so he kept trying. Besides, he wanted to show the Grigori that he could be better than any of their Exorcists, including Arthur, their tool of a Paladin.

"Pfft, being an Aria is the worst Meister."
Bon turned around to look at the purple-haired girl. "Excuse me?"
She sneered. "I said, Arias are useless and lazy. They sit back and chant things while everyone else protects them!" She repeated. Bon stomped over to her and she stood up as well. "Aria are your backup. You know we have to memorize the whole Bible before we can become Exorcists? Aria is the hardest Meister to attain and look who's callin' 'em out. The girl who's only a Tamer because she was born at a shrine with servants already there at her beck and call!" Bon growled. She snorted. "The hardest to obtain is actually Tamer, because we have to maintain control and stay calm throughout the whole fight, otherwise out demons turn on us." She said smugly.
"No, Suguro is right. Aria is, in fact, the hardest. I'm still working on memorizing the Bible and he's doing a lot better than I am right now. Though I bet that memory of his helps a lot." Rin spoke from the doorway.
Once again they all looked at him. "Hit her, Suguro." Rin ordered. Suguro raised a brow. "Isn't that against the rules? And why can't you do it?" He asked. Rin grinned. "I'm older than you and a Higher Ranking Exorcist, so I can't. And what the system doesn't know, won't hurt them. My brother may be a sexist idiot, but I'm not. Treat her like an equal and hit her." Rin answered.
Suguro shrugged and hefted her up to his eye level, delivering a good punch to her jaw. She winced and held her jaw. Rin gave her an ice pack and looked back down the hallway. "Fuck, the teacher's coming. Alright kids, don't give me away." He told them. He jumped the the window like a few days before and they all sighed.
This guy is something else....

"Okumura-senpai, you said earlier that exorcists fight in teams. But I've heard that you fight solo." Suguro pointed out. He hastily followed up with a "Of course, I'm not trying to be disrespectful or anything–" Rin turned around and ruffled the teen's hair.
The taller smiled dryly at the ExWire. "It's okay. I know it sounds hypocritical. I'm different from all the other Exorcists. A special case, if you will." Rin told him. Suguro was confused. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Can't tell you that. You'll find out on your own if you become an Exorcist anyway." Rin avoided answering again.
"You know, you're the only one with enough guts to ask me something like that. I like you. You're a good student. Just need to work on those anger issues." Rin decided. Suguro's cheeks turned red and Rin smirked. He hadn't given up on trying to stay away from these kids, but they were some interesting students to say the least.
"Alright, now go away brat. I need to get dinner ready." Rin ordered. Suguro listened and walked off, cheeks still red.
Rin sighed. Why was it so hard to simply avoid getting close to anyone?
Maybe that's because they're trying to get close to you, not the other way around.
