(2:05 p.m)

"What are you doing here ? We're celebrating your baby right now." Terry asked walking towards Kalvin who was sat on the edge of the wooden bridge in the back of auntie May's garden, "Are you going to jump in the water ? "

His best friend shook his head, "No. And I'm thinking."

Terry sat next to him, "About ? "

He sighed, "…The twins are mad at me."

Terry turned his head to look at them real quick in the little playroom. They were so sad while the other kids were laughing at the movie they were watching. He didn't like to see them like that, "What happened ? "

"They…They want us to all live together. And now they think that I don't appreciate them, but was just using them for Cora to fall for me. They don't want to be put in the background once the baby will be here. They want to know if I want to be their father, like officially."

Terry frowned still a little confused, "And why they're mad for exactly ? "

"Because I said nothing when they confessed all of this. I didn't answer their questions and I didn't deny their assumptions. They asked a bunch of questions and I couldn't answer to them because I was so scared. I'm panicking, T." 

"Why ? I thought everything was going smoothly." 

"Me too, but now there is that. And I don't know what to do."

"K, what are you really scared of ? Why are you panicking ? "

Kalvin sighed wiping his face with his two hands, "I don't want to fail in this new role, T. I went from being single and focused on myself to…find out that I'm about to have a baby in nine months, to then find out there are two more kids involved in the equation. My life did a 360 in less than one year. And for months things kept changing around me. My life is not the same. Terry, I just realized that…I'm gonna be taking care of three kids ! Not one, not two, but THREE. And I don't want to fail ! I don't want to disappoint them." 

Terry chuckled shaking his head, "Disappoint them ? But you won't ! Well, yes kinda, maybe one or two times and them too. You know how it is. Parents and children always go through the most emotional roller coaster. Well, in our case, that's always like that. But yeah, nobody is perfect. Of course, y'all will make mistakes, everything won't be perfect. It's called LIFE. But don't worry, I'm sure y'all will always work it out. Kalvin, these past months I realized something and you know what it is." He didn't wait for his friend to answer and continued to talk, "You're born to be a father. That's the role for you. Seriously, look back to everything that happened lately, you've only been good to these kids and you're going to be good with your new one too. You're a family man. You're meant to be a father and you'll be the best father. Terry is telling you and Terry is always telling the truth."

Kal laughed, "I hope you'll have kids too one day. Even if it'll be a lot to handle, but it'll be worth it. Thank you, bro. I love you." 

"Oh my G ! Oh my G ! Lawd ! Lawd, did you hear him ? I know you did ! He loves me, he looooooooves me ! " He stood up and started doing the running man, "He loves me ! My brother loves me ! And I love him too ! " He yelled getting attention of the other members of the family.

Kal grabbed his cargo short and pulled him down, "Can you stop ! Damn ! Always so extra." 

"But you love me though. Don't try to say otherwise now. Anyways, I'm gonna get the twins, so y'all can talk." He stood up again and went in the playroom to get his homies, "Here. You sit down and listen, kids." He made them sit down, one at each side of Kalvin.

Acacia folded her arms, "Ears are open." She spoke for the both of them.

Kal cleared his throat, "Well…I'm sorry if I offended you earlier. It wasn't my attention, at all. I didn't mean to get y'all mad. I really appreciate you, you're important to my heart and I care a lot about y'all. I had never used y'all to get to your mother's heart and you weren't wrong for trusting me. And…I truly want us to be a family, but…please give me some time. We don't need to rush everything and jump into things we're not ready for just yet. And when the baby will be here, I won't neglect y'all." He said being honest.

"Why didn't you say this sooner ? " Almar asked narrowing his eyes at him, "You scared us."

Kal chuckled slightly, "You scared me too with all of these questions." 

Acacia raised her brow curiously , "Really ? "

He nodded his head, "Yes.…" He bit on his bottom lip, "…I'm afraid to be a…bad father. Your questions put pressure on me. So much pressure and I don't want to disappoint y'all." 

Acacia smiled, "Kal, we gave your car away and you stayed with us. When we were going through our hardest times these past months, you were there for us. How could you be a bad father ? " 

"And you shared your wisdom with us. Always thinking like a champion." Almar grinned. 

"And never let people put us down. They're just obstacles to overcome and to get us stronger. Realizing our dreams and being successful will be our best revenge." Acacia added beaming.

"And a mother will always loves her children." Almar finished causing Kal to smirk, "You taught us so much in a short time and I'm sure you will kept doing this and we'll teach these lessons to our little sister."

Kal grinned widely, "Y'all really smart. Too smart. And from now on, always make sure to use that intelligence for good things."

"But giving your car away was a good thing finally." Acacia said shrugging innocently.

"Yes, but it all started as a crime. Anyways, we're good now ? " He hold his hands for them to shake.

They smiled, "Yes ! " And they shook hands. Then the three hugged. Peace and serenity was definitely back. Well, almost.

"THE BOMB ! "

The twins pulled away from Kalvin the fastest they could and one minute after Terry had jumped on Kal and soon they were diving in the lake. People from the garden had seen this and were now all at the end of the bridge watching the scene. The twins burst into laughter and everybody joined.

Kal was not that happy as he was returning to the surface, "TERRY JERRY DANIELS ! I'M GONNA KILL YOU ! " He shouted and looked for his best friend, so he could hit him one or two twice, "YOU STUPID ! "

Terry was swinging like a fish. No worries, "I had to make this vlog more interesting."

Kal frowned at him, "What ! " Terry pointed Nelson who had his phone in his hand recording everything, "You're getting on my nerves with that, man ! "

Terry, "Are you mad or nah ? Watchu gon' do, watchu, watchu gon' do ? " He began to sing. 

"Nothin' you gon' do, nothin', nothin' you gon' do." The twins sang along with Mikayla who had joined them on the bridge.

"Uncle Kal-Kal, can I jump too ? " Mikayla asked with her cute little voice.

"Aw, me too." Other kids said excited. 

Kal sighed feeling defeated, "Okay, everybody who can swing can jump in this lake, but if you catch something it's not my fault, but his. Terry Daniels is his name." 

"No, you can't do this, bro." T whined.

After the little fun in the lake, everybody who jumped in got out and were now almost completely dry and the baby shower was pursuing in a good mood, "Hey ! " 

Cora turned around and got immediately happier than she already was, "Roger ! Francky ! Oh my ! I missed you guys so much ! How are you ? I'm glad you came."

Roger hugged her, "We missed you too." 

"Yeah, I felt a little lost without my favourite chica." Francesca said and her and Cora hugged tightly like their life depended on it. They had lost contact lately while they used to see the other practically every day. Since Cora was pregnant and didn't want to stress too much with work, so she wasn't coming to Di@mond's anymore -plus a club wasn't really the environment for her, who was carrying a baby- and with everything that was going on, her and  Francesca hadn't the occasion to hang out.

"We have to do something real soon and catch up. How have you been ? "

Francky grinned, "I have been great. I actually was in Colombia for the past two months." 

"Yeah, I have been informed of that. A family emergency ? I hope everything is alright." 

She nodded, "Yes ! I actually got back in contact with my abuela. It'd been years since I saw her. She called me and wanted us to work on our relationship, that's why I went there. But enough talk about me. How are you feeling ? How is it to be pregnant again ? Oh Dios mio ! I feel like yesterday you just let us know about the baby and now we're at the baby shower ! "

"I know ! Time goes so fast." She then turned to Roger, "And what about you ? Did you pass your exams ? And did you finally find your own place ? "

"I'm fine. I'm focus, mainly. I passed all of my exams and got some more credits. And I actually found something. I'm officially moving in next week. And I'm going to start searching another job to have more income for the bills and all that."

Cora applauded him and then kissed his cheek. She was so proud of him, "That's so great ! But don't overwork yourself. I will definitely check more on you and we'll can help you to decorate, just call."

The three continued to chit chat until the twins came in and covered Roger and Francky with big hugs. They also missed them so much. They were leading the conversation now. And then Kalvin joined them, mostly to ask Cora if she was okay.

She nodded, "I'm totally fine. Oh ! Kal, I don't think you officially met Roger and Francesca." She introduced them to each other. 

"Okay, it's time for revealing the gender ! " Auntie May announced and motioned for the future parents to get on the little stage with her. Once they were there, she talked again, "So, at the beginning of the party I gave out pink and blue little badges that you had to keep with you until now. Do y'all still have it ? " She asked to the crowd who answered in unison with a big yes, "Great ! So, the people who are right will receive a gift." They clapped happily, "Now, I'm gonna let the parents talk." And she moved to the side passing the mic to Cora.

"First off, thanks so much for coming today."

"You're welcome ! "

"De nada ! "

"No problem ! "

Were shouted at the same time causing Cora and Kalvin to grin more, "Uh…I'm not going to do a long speech, because we have to eat the cake after that, so less I'm talking, faster we'll get to this part." She said making everybody laugh, "Hey, not my fault, I'm eating for two." They laughed more and Kalvin playfully shook his head at her, "Anyways ! The baby is…" She handed the mic to Kalvin. 

"…It's…a…"

Kalia rolled her eyes, "Hurry up, boy ! "

"…It's…It's…It's…"

"C'MON ! " People screamed getting annoyed.

He chuckled, "Okay, okay.…It's…"

"KALVIN ! "

Cora snatched the mic out of his hand, "Give me that ! It's a girl ! And now, Almar and Acacia are going to reveal the name." They shook their heads causing their mother to frown, "What ? "

They walked to the stage and Almar took the mic, "Sorry…but not really, to be honest with you." The crowd chuckled, "Uh…we still can't agree on something. Actually we have the middle name, but not the first one and we don't want to give half of the full name."

Acacia nodded, "Yeah…Uh…so nobody will know until the birth."

•A/N: One more chapter plus the epilogue and it's the end 😔😩 I'll try to make the next chapter long enough and I thought about doing a special update with Q&A (I know it's so random or whatever lolol ) But, what do you think about it though ? Y'all be able to ask me questions about the book and to the characters also lol If I see that y'all really want to do this, then it's gon' happen, but if you're not interested, then it won't happen. It's up to you ! ☺☺☺
