Ok Emma, concentrate you can do this! Just ignore Cyrus, just focus on the battle.

I breathed out deeply and watched Trust use the bug type move on Silver's Weevile.

It hit. knocking Weevile back

"Weevile! Shake it off and use Shadow ball!"

"Counter it with your own, then get in close and use Iron tail!" I countered

Trust nodded briefly and countered Weevile's Shadow ball making a small explosion, then using the smoke as coverage got in close and used Iron tail to knock back Weevile.

"Weevile get up and use dark pulse."

"Jump!" I ordered

Trust leapt over the attack and used Signal beam on Weevile.

"Weevile get up and use ice-beam to slow Trust down."

Weevile used the attack just as Trust landed, Freezing her to the ground.

"Now get in close and use Shadow claw!"

How was I going to get out of this? I needed to melt that ice... But how?

A cloud moved away from the sun allowing it to shine brighter on the feild... wait the sun!

"Trust, morning sun!"

She nodded and the jewel on her head started to glow and the sun grew brighter and warmer as the ice around Trust's feet melted. but unfortunately not quick enough for her dodge and she got hit by the super effective Shadow claw.

Trust got up shakily but still stood.

"K Trust get up and show them our bond, use Return!"

Please work!

Trust covered her paw in white light and charged in on Weevile knocking him down and out.

"AND WEEVILE IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! EMMA IS IN THE LEAD WITH 1 TO NOTHIN'!!! WILL SILVER BE ABLE TO OVERCOME EMMA'S EARLY LEAD!!!???" Fred shouted.

I rolled my eyes, every one can see that I won why did he have to say it?

I nodded to Hope to take her place in battle as Trust trotted back to my side.

"Kingdra!" Silver let out his Pokemon

"AND IT'S EMMA'S SHINY UMBREON VS SILVER'S KINGDRA!" Seriously SHUT THE HELL UP FRED!!!

"K Hope, get in close with dig!"

Hope buried her way under ground leaving Kingdra dumb struck looking left and right trying to find where Hope would come up.

Hope came up from underneath Kingdra and head butted her. Hope landed on her feet and awaited my next order.

*time skip cause I'm to busy to write the whole battle, sorry*

"AND THE BATTLE IS NOW TIED AT TWO ALL THE WINNER OF THIS ROUND WILL BE THIS YEARS WINNER AND GETS A SHOT TO BATTLE THE CHAMPION!!!"

"Faith!"

"Raikou!"

We had been battling for hours and this was the last battle. I had won two battles, so had Silver and we had tied twice leaving this battle the decider.

I took another glance at Cyrus. He had a blank expression on, making it impossible to tell how he felt about this all.

I turned back to my battle. I had a sick feeling in my stomach but with so much at stake I wasn't about to zone out on my Pokemon. Not at the deciding round, the final battle.

"Faith, earthquake!"

The ground began to shake and I crouched down to stop myself falling.

I watched Raikou fall over and growl as he struggled to regain his footing. As soon as it stopped I stood.

"Raikou, get up and use Crunch!" Silver yelled

"Double team!"

There were about a hundred Mew's now, all giggling there heads off as Faith will do.

"Now Shadow ball." Silver continued

"Counter it!" I ordered

The two shadowy balls hit each other causing a massive explosion, sending the field into smoke.

"Faith keep your guard up!"

~Yes Emma.~ She said via telepathy so not to give her position away.

It was silent for a moment then Faith shot out of the smoke followed by a Shadow ball, she dipped to dodge then quickly twisted to fire her own hitting the Raikou.

Faith was panting... why? she hadn't taken a single hit yet... unless...

"Faith Mud bomb!"

Faith tried to charge up the muddy ball, but flinched as a wave of electricity coursed through her body.

My suspicions were confirmed, Faith had been paralysed while in the smoke, thunder wave was a soundless move so it would have been easy to hit her with out her knowing and the smoke made her a easy target.

"Raikou good work" Silver smirked. "Now Thunder."

"Faith dodge!"

She tried to dodge but the paralysis stopped her and she got hit full blast by the attack.

"Faith please get up!" I begged.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Cyrus smirking.

I would show him, I would prove him wrong!

"Faith, please! if you can, use morning sun!"

Faith grunted and pushed herself up and the air grew brighter and warmer.

She flew up still weak but was able to just push herself up and gently fly up.

"Good girl, now reversal!"

Faith charged in with the little energy she had left and smashed into Raikou sending him crashing into the arena wall and he didn't get up.

"AND RAIKOU IS UNABLE TO BATTLE!!! EMMA IS THE WINNER!!!"

I did it... I won? we won?

I ran over to Faith who fell exhausted into my arms.

I hugged her close. "Thank you." I whispered into her ear.

She smiled at me, pleased with herself and with me.

I turned to look at Cyrus but he wasn't in his seat.

I closed my eyes and sighed. this had been one of my toughest battles ever.

I walked over to Silver and smiled. "Good battle."

I reached out to shake his hand, but was blown off my feet at a massive explosion that shook the ground and thousands of Team Galactic members filed in.

The smoke was thick. I pushed myself up and tried to regain my lost air. I coughed contiuasly as my lungs filled with smoke.

People were screaming and I could hear Silver shouting my name, but I couldn't answer as I continued to cough. Faith looked up at me weakly unable to do anything to help.

I reached for her Pokéball off my belt and returned her.

This must have been there plan from the start. All of both mine and Silver's Pokemon were weak from battle and I only had two left. Blade and Trixie.

Trixie was out of the question but Blade would be able to help.

There were now pokemon attacks being throw through the smoke. I was down on my knees unable to do any thing as I was choking on smoke and unable to get air in to my lungs.

I reached down for Blade's Pokéball and let him out.

He took a second to assess the situation and he saw his number one priority.

He surrounded us in a shield and filtered the smoke out.

Slowly I got air back into my lungs and my breathing slowed back to its normal rate.

I stood up shakily and looked to around us and gasped as pain shot threw my left arm but got up any way, choosing to ignoring it.

The smoke was now clearing allowing me to see the situation around me. Their were multiple people fighting against Team Galactic. But what were they after?

You?

"Possibly..."

You gotta get out of here!

"Since when did you care?"

I don't, but it you die so do I. So don't die!

"You dieing doesn't sound that bad actually."

Hardy ha ha. Now stop with the sarcasm and go kick some but!

"Don't need to tell me twice... hey who put you in charge?"

"Blade put down the force feild."

He looked reluctant but dropped the force field surrounding us. The smoke was extremely thin now and I could see around all my friends were battling Admins or Grunts.

Blade jumped into action protect me.

I looked around me and felt my face pale and i felt weak when I saw Cyrus, he was holding a gun and was pointing it a Silver who had his back turned to Cyrus, completely oblivious to the danger.

Before my head knew what my legs were doing, I was charging towards Silver my only thought was to protect him.

I pushed him out of the way just as the shot rung out. There was a sudden pain in my side as I collapsed into Silver's arms, blood gushing out of my lower stomach.

Everything around me faded and the last thing I saw was Silver's silver eyes stairing at me in shock and fright

Sorry I've been planing this forever I've thought of so many different ideas it was driving me crazy but I eventually decided. but it doesn't make it any less painful to write ToT
