Marinette's POV

I woke up next to my favorite guy. I felt a smile slightly tug at my face. I slipped his hair out of his face so I can steal a glance.

Then Alya came into my mind. I shot up out of my position, earning a moan from Adrian. Quickly, I jumped out of bed to get dressed.

"Adrian, please get up. Were going to be late."

He opened his eyes and looked at the clock to his left.

"Oh my, your right." He said groggy.

I finished getting dressed and left the room to give the boy privacy.

While waiting, I decided to call Alya.

"Hello?"

"Hey Alya. Its Marinette. I have some huge news."

"Well I'm like a block away from your house. Actually in front of Adrian's."

"Girl, stop where you are."

I hung up and yelled up to Adrian that I'll wait outside. Running out I searched for my best friend.

"Alya!" I yelled, walking toward her," you'll never guess the night I had."

"Tell. Me. Everything."

I told her every detail. Like the candle lit room. The soft romantic music. How he felt. How IT felt.

"Omg girl, about time."

"Wh-what?" I asked confused.

"I knew this was gunna happen since day one."

"Alya! You dirty little freak." I laughed as Adrian joined us.

He kissed me and said, " are you ready to go m'lady?"

I nodded in confirmation.

We walked into class, his arm still around me earning broken looks from Chloe and Nathaniel.

I mouthed sorry to Nathaniel because in the past I had feelings for him. Not until recently, when my feelings had already diminished, did he return them.

We'll talk later, he mouthed back. I bobbed my head slightly.

Taking our places, class began and we continued on through the day.

*time skip to the Talk*

"Hi. Nath, I'm deeply sorry."

"No. No, you shouldn't feel sorry. If anyone should it shall be I."

"You know I will always love you, but-"

"Shhhh. Do not fret, my love. Seeing that you are happy is all I can truly desire. Even if, not inflicted on by myself."

"Of course, even though my feelings have changed. But not entirely dissolved, I must wish that you be completely, and entirely, and incandescently happy."

(If you get that reference, we are now bffs)

"Well, shall we remain in thus state. Or can we become like brother and sister. A love never lost?"

"A love never lost. I like that. That's our little catch phrase now. Goodbye Nathaniel, for I must be going."

"Goodbye." He said and kissed my hand before we parted ways.

Ik I said I wouldn't. But I gt. I have no idea what the end if this chapter is. And what is with the Formalism? Hmmmm Marinath? (That would be third ship name btw. And no its not happening)
