Marinette's POV

I sat in the hospital, worrying. I've been here for 3 days. His father tried his best to be there, which is not at all what Adrian described his as. My parents understood what I was going through so they brought food from the bakery then left. When they returned, the food was still untouched. I haven't slept. Als and Nino dropped by to check up and deliver work from school.

I really looked like a dead person. My eyes were full and no longer full of life. My complexion was gray, almost dead like. I hardly recognized myself. Adrian shouldn't see me like this, so I ate the food my parents brought me, slept even. Soon I returned to the me that Adrian loved so much.

*next day*

Its day four now. The doctors wonder if he'll ever wake up. The tests came back this morning. His skull had a hairline fracture. His nose, broken, his cheek bone was also fractured. I almost broke when they told me they were unsure if he would ever be ok.

I was praying to the guardian, when all of a sudden Adrian spoke. "Mari?"

Tears spilled out of my eyes as I went and held his cold hand. "I'm here." I whispered.

Hi. So this may be my personal favorite chapter so far. Its a bit short, I'd like it to be longer. I am so overjoyed that I keep getting notifications for this book. I really love you guys. But for now I gtg. See ya later kitties.
