~Y/N's P.O.V~

I was with Aph at Garroth's house. We were in Garroth's room and Vylad was in there too.

Garroth told me to sit on his lap and I did. Garroth told Vylad about how he asked me to prom and I said yes. Then Aphmau told Vylad on how Aaron asked her to prom. "Prom?! That's crazy. You're just a freshman!"

"She could go as long as her date is a senior or junior." Garroth said as I'm sitting on his lap.

"And what about you Garroth. You and Y/N are just sophomores."

"I'm only going, because my teacher was on the host staff and asked me to help. Plus i get extra credit."

"Makes sense, but why take Y/N?"

Garroth started blushing. "W-w-well Y/N is special to me and I-I wanted to have this experience with her."

Aphmau awed and did a heart with her fingers. "That's so cute!"

"I am pretty special." I flipped my hair and laughed.

"She's got a point." Vylad said.

"So Aph, didn't you get asked out by my cousin! Do you know how awkward that is? Never knew you guys had a thing for each other."

Aphmau started blushing. "Hey! Y/N we already talked about this. Nothing is going on between us, we're just really good friends that have known each other for a very long time, but didn't know it."

I crossed my arms and eyed her suspiciously. "Sure, if you're just friends I get it."

"What I'm surprised by is, how in the world did you convince your mom to let you go to prom?" Vylad asked looking at Aphmau.

"Oh Yeah! That is the bigger mystery." Garroth asked, his arms wrapped around my waist. "How did she take it?"

Aphmau hesitated a little. "Uhhh well I had Y/N with me so I can tell her more confidently and well...."

~flashback~

I walked down the stairs with Aphmau and walked up to her mom. "Hm? Ah! Aphmau! Y/N! You both are just in time for dinner."

Aphmau looked back at me then back at her mom. "Uhhhh hey mom, there's something I wanted to talk to you about."

"Ah! One second aaaaaaaaand done!" She giggled and set the ham down on a bigger plate. "See! I can cook an amazing ham too."

"That's nice mom, but i have something i reeeeeally want to tell you."

"What is it mija?"

"I uhhhh got asked to prom."

Her mom started laughing hysterically. "Don't be silly mija, you're just a freshman."

"It is true, right Y/N?"

"Yeah, it's true."

"I got asked to prom mom."

Her mom stood quiet before turning to us with her face showing a lot of anger. "You what?!"

Me and Aphmau backed away a little. "Uh yeah! A boy asked me to go to prom with him."

"Prom?! You?! What the?! That! You got asked?! Oh well I hope you did a sassy hair flip and told him no!"

Me and Aphmau chuckled. "I mean, i know i got the sass, but *cough* I didn't. I said yes aaand I wanna go with him."

"There is no way I'd let you- who is this boy you are goi mg with?!"

"Well, you remember Aaron?"

~time skip~

We ended up in the hospital a while after Aphmau told her mom. Her mom was on the hospital bed. The doctor left and it was just the three of us in the room. Aphmau sighed. "Mom."

I received a call from my uncle Derek. "Hello?"

"Y/N! Did you know your cousin Aaron asked a girl out to prom? Please tell me you dont agree with this."

"Well, i agree that he should cause it's his last year here, even though it's his first year here, it's only fair for him to go."

"Oh thank Irene you're not a senior yet."

"Oh yeah, forgot to tell you. I'm going to prom with a friend of mine."

It stayed quiet in the other line. "Hello?"

~time skip~

In the same room, my uncle was on the hospital bed. I sighed, "uncles."

"Your dad found out?" Aphmau walked up to me.

"He's my uncle and yeah, hopefully he let's me or else I'm going to be very upset."

"I'm excited to go to prom!"

"In a way same."

When we said that we heard the heart monitor go flat. The doctor came in with another nurse and they did the electric shock on them. They started screaming at us on how we're not going to prom.

"Ok you two, if you don't calm down I'm going to have to sedate you. This anger is bad for your blood pressure." The doctor scolded them. They started screaming again. "Alright that's it!" The doctor grabbed a neddle and filled it with a medicine and put them inside the screaming parents. She came in between me and Aphmau. "Alright young ladies, your parents should be fine. They'll be a little tipsy from the medication, so be sure to take good care of them."

The doctor left once again and we looked over to our gardians worried. "Mom?"

"Uncle Derek?"

"Woooow, i have so many fingers!" My uncle said as he looked at his hands.

"I'm really hungry."

I looked over to Aphmau with a smirk and she smirked back before turning back to our "parents".

"Soooo about prom."

"Is it okay for me and Aphmau to go?"

I got out my phone and recorded them.

"Well of course you can!" My uncle says as he keeps throwing his head back.

"You totallies can girlfriend! I'll make sure to get you the prettiest dress ever!"

I did an evil chuckled and showed Aphmau the video. "Got it all on video."

~flashback over~

"And yeah. That's pretty much how it happened." Aphmau said.

Garroth had a surprised look on his face. "Wow. That was lucky."

Vylad crossed his arms. "Yeah."

In the distance we heard Garroth's mom. "Alright Aphmau! Time to go home! My Gar Gar and soon to be daughter in law have prom tomorrow and so do you!"

"Gotcha! See you guys later!" Aphmau jumped off the bed and ran out the room.

"Is no one else concerned that your mother just called me her soon to be daughter in law?"

Garroth and Vylad looked at each other before shaking their heads.

~prom day~

I was in Aphmau's room getting ready for prom, with the guys coming in a few minutes we started getting into our dresses.

I was slipping it on when I heard the doorbell ring. "Ahh! They're here! Aph! Help me zip this up!"

"On it!"

We had to YouTube our make up, Aphmau's mom did our hair and the dress Melissa helped me pick it out.

We finished and we heading out of the room. "We're ready!"

I heard from down stairs Aphmau's mom yelling about a camera. Uncle told Aaron to keep an eye out for me but we all know he's probably going to make out with Aphmau somewhere else.

I walked down the stairs and noticed Garroth had blush on his cheeks. "Oh my." I smirked and saw Aaron was in the same situation but then turned to Garroth and glared.

"You girls are beautiful!"

I walked next to my date and linked arms with him. "Looking handsome as ever."

He blushed and pulled out a box from his blue blazer.

I gasped. "Is that the corsage?"

Be nodded and pulled it out of the box.

He put it on my wrist. I felt my face heat up a little and pulled out a blue rose. "Here I got this for you." I put it in the pocket of his blazer.

"You look lovely Y/N, thanks again for being my date."

"Its beautiful Garroth, thank you." I sniffed it. "And it smells so nice!"

"You're welcome. Uh, we better get going I have to be there at opening."

Aphmau looked over to us. "Right!

We walked out of the house, me holding onto Garroth's arm so I dont fall from the heels.

We had made it to prom and I've danced with Garroth a lot so far. The cape of my dress had been stepped on a lot so i had to sit down for a bit. "This has been a lot of fun. Come on Garroth! Let's get another dance in!"

"After you M'Lady."

We danced until Garroth decided to take me out of the crowd and outside into the hallway. "Garroth where are we going?"

"Just trust me."

I was confused but followed him anyways. We came into the choir room where I first bumped into him in freshman year. We went inside in one of the practice rooms and there was an acoustic guitar set against the wall.

Garroth picked it up and gave me the guitar. "You're going to play the guitar for me and sing."

"Wh-what!? No! I'm not good at either of them! I dint even consider my singing decent."

"Yes you are, I've heard you before."

"I-I haven't taken it seriously, i can't."

Garroth's face dropped a little. "Why?"

I hesitated for a moment. "I'm embarrassed about it."

"Oh just cause you're supposed to be the baddest chick in the school? Come on please? Can you play that song for me? The one that you sang when you tried to get me to sleep."

"You mean 'Bring Me to Life'?"

"Yeah, i really liked it, even though it isn't meant for making someone sleep but still."

"I-if I mess it up promise you dont laugh."

"I won't."

We both sat on the floor and Garroth put an arm around me as I played the guitar.

I finished the song and turned my head to look at Garroth. He was blushing really bad. He looked at me and smiled before getting up and kneel in front of me. "Y/N I've been wanting to ask you this for the longest time now."

Garroth grabbed both of my hands and brought me up to both of us standing in front of each other. He grabbed me by the waist picked me up to where I'm taller than him. "Hey! Garroth! This isnt fair!"

Our foreheads were against one another. Both if our faces burning red, i couldn't look away from his blue eyes. "Y/N, would you be my girlfriend?"

I smiled and wrapped my arms around him. "Yes Garroth, i would love to be your girlfriend. Can i still cause trouble though?"

Garroth chuckled and put me back on the floor and cupping my cheek with his hand. "Yes, just don't go too much into trouble." He leaned in towards me and locked lips with me.

~time skip to the first day of summer~

I was getting my stuff ready to go to the stupid rehabilitation place thingy. My uncle, aunt and Melissa were out of town for some business meeting so Aaron was supposed to take me tomorrow.

I threw myself on my bed and rested my arm on my forehead, resting my eyes. I heard my phone vibrate against the mattress next to me. I picked up my phone and read the text Katelyn sent me.

Blue head chick- hey Y/N! We're having a party at Aphmau's house! Come and join us!

I groaned and turned off my phone and went back to resting my eyes. I heard a knock on my door, opening my eyes irritated I got up from my bed and dragged my feet against the floor to open the door snd see Aaron with his phone in his hand. "What do you want?"

Aaron ignored my attitude. "I'm going to Aphmau's house to help you get the party out, so I'll be back later. I promise I'll take you tomorrow but I need to help her out."

Aaron went running down the hallway. "You know you have to pack all of your things too Aaron!" I yelled as he was running down the stairs. I heard the door slam and groaned.

I went back to my bed but before i would even touch my bed I heard the doorbell ring. My hands turned into fists and I tore my pillow in half sending pillow stuffing everywhere.

I stomped down the stairs and open the door to see Garroth. "Oh, hey Garro- how do you know where I live!?"

Garroth put his hands up in the air in surrender. "I just wanted to know if you wanted to hang out. Since you are leaving tomorrow."

I sighed and stepped to the side to let him in. We walked upstairs to my room and we chilled for about 20 minutes with jokes and puns.

"Y/N."

"Hm?"

"Are you actually going to vacation all summer? You said that Aaron is going to college tomorrow and that your parents are out of town. Where exactly are you going?" He said as he sat down next to me on my bed.

I avoided eye contact. I chuckled softly. "You can be oblivious sometimes but at time you can be pretty observant." I paused and did a sigh. "I'm going to a place where they can help me from the trauma of my patents death and help cure the depression I have deep down. They'll make sure I don't ever think about killing or cutting myself. I honestly don't want to go cause I want to spend my summer with you." I stood up from my bed and stood in front of Garroth. "But i promise you, I'll be back better than ever! I'll be the troublesome girl of Phoenix Drop High school once again. Man I'm just itching for some punches to the pink haired bitches face!"

Garroth smiled and hugged me. I hugged him back with my head resting on his chest. "I hope so."
