Third Person POV

Vivan left Misha's office after an hour in a somber mood. The mood of the person inside the cabin wasn't any better. She felt disgusted and impure. But the office work kept her busy and she tried to ignore what had happened between the two of them.

After finishing her work, she left the office to go home. There she found her cousins having a chill time and the entire family started planning for the Avinash and Anu's wedding which was to be held in three weeks.

As the days passed, Misha and Vivan did not come into contact with each other and Misha was glad. She felt disgusted and kept thinking about how she actually liked this guy when they had first met. She mostly kept to herself, talked less and her family was starting to notice this change in her. She was emotionally and mentally exhausted but whenever she saw the happy faces of her family, she knew that sleeping with Vivan gave them their business back and their happiness and that made her not regret her decision.

-After three weeks-

The entire Sachdev mansion was beautifully decorated with lights and flowers. The aunties, uncles, kids were all busy with the preparation and welcoming the guests and distant relatives because today is Avinash and Anu's sagai (engagement ceremony).

"Mummy look how grumy Avi bhaiya is getting.. he can't even wait for two more days till he gets married. If it was upto him he would have married Anu bhabhi yesterday only.. haha" Priya giggles teasing her elder brother to her mom. She snatched her brother's phone from her his hand and ran. By the look on his face, anyone could clearly tell that he was busy texting his wife-to-be.

"PRIYA!!!!!!! You have no respect for elders anymore... I am your older brother and still look at how you talking about me" Avinash started to run behind Priya.

Sakshi (Avi and Priya's mom and Misha chachi) looked at her children and smiled. How time had changed and now her son was getting married. She smiled at the bittersweet memories of their childhood when she saw them running in the living room like kids.

Priya was not looking in front while running and suddenly crashed into someone and fell. "Oh sorry Priya, I did not see you" Misha helped her cousin to get up. 

"No no di, I was not looking. Di look what Avi bhaiya was texting bhabhi.. umm let us get some masala on them" Priya giggled again but was stopped by Misha

"Priya what is this? We cannot look into someone's private life. Give bhaiya his phone back" Misha sounded angry. 

Priya got shocked seeing Misha's unexpected anger "Di ... I .."

"No, give me the phone I will give bhaiya his phone back" saying that Misha took the phone and gave to Avi who stood shocked as well.

After giving him the phone, she left towards her room.

All three - Avinash, Priya, and Sakshi - stood shocked at her outburst. 

"Mom, what happened to di? First, she does not want to dance in the family dance performance in tonight's functions and now she is getting angry at me for teasing Avu bhaiya" Priya hugged her mom and started crying. She was always closest to Misha and was not taking Misha's changing behavior well.

"Yes beta, I don't know what is going on with her. Avi is there a lot of pressure at work? Since past few weeks, Misha has been zoning out and she is hardly the same Misha anymore, she does not even smile anymore " Sakshi asked her son.

Avinash was still shocked "Mom no work is just as usual and Misha is not someone who would bring work problems to home anyways. I don't know what is going on with her either"

The three got stressed thinking about it and decided to talk to Misha when they get time after two days (i.e. after the wedding)

In the evening the entire Sachdev clan was dressed beautifully and came down to their main hall for the sagai (engagement). Everyone was there to expect Misha. Even Anu's family along with guests and the Vadhera's were also there. Seeing Misha not there, Avinash was hurt and thought why would she miss his engagement, he knew how much she loved him.

Seeing her son's distress, Saskhi touched his shoulder "Don't worry Avi, she is just getting ready. Your sister will never miss your engagement. She was wearing something very simple and I took out another dress for her, she was hesitant to wear something really heavy so I had to convince her. so she is just changing and should be down any minute" Hearing that Avinash relaxed and smiled at his mom.

Another pair of eyes were eagerly searching for Misha. "What happened Vivan, who are you searching for?" Akshi(Vivan's sister) asked him. 

"Nobody, I am just... uh... looking at the decorations" he tried to shrug away the topic. But Akshi had never seen the desperation in her brother's eyes as she did today, she knew something was going on because since the last few weeks Vivan was acting little strange, but she decided to leave it for now.

He turned his head and saw the one his eyes were searching for walking down the stairs wearing a beautiful golden and beige wrap saree and looking stunning.

"Arrey waah beta.. you are looking so beautiful" Pooja (Vivan's mom) came forward and blessed her. 

Misha went around the hall to greet everyone with a soft smile gracing her lips. But her eyes were telling a different story.

Soon the dance performances started. 

"Misha beta get the jewellery gifts from our side to Anu, they are in my room" Misha's grandmother told her and Misha went gladly because she wanted to avoid her cousins pulling her on stage to dance.

She went up the stairs and reached the first floor when a hand suddenly pulled her and her back hit a hard chest. She almost screamed but a hand covered her mouth.

"Shh.. baby its me... your lover"
