Misha POV

"Vivaan! nice name" I smiled and went back home.

Within a span of few weeks, Our friendship kept on growing. Vivaan and I kept coming closer. It was hard not to develop feelings for someone like him. He was handsome, caring, genuine and most of all he seemed to have a beautiful heart. With all these characteristics, he was still authoritative when needed and had a certain dominating persona about him.. Something attracting me.

Nobody in the family knew about him until one day Chachi who frequently visited the Orphanage came across a gossip spreading about me having an affair.

"Misha.. Misha... where are you?" chachi called me and I ran from my room.

"Ji chachi" I asked her.

"Misha, what is this I am hearing? Are you seeing someone like do you have a boyfriend?" she was very angry.

I was shaken. Even though I spent time with Vivaan after my work, I never really thought us to be dating. We were just friends. I liked him but it never went beyond friendship.

"Nahi chachi, there is nothing like that!"

"Really then who is this mysterious guy you keep hanging out with the Orphanage?" she was still angry, I had never seen her angry at me.

I felt so bad and hurt that a tear left my eye. Seeing that she came closer and hugged me."Beta, I am sorry for shouting at you. It's just that.... its just that I do not want your name or our family's name to be gossiped about. With the problems in business, our name has been under a lot of scrutinies."

"Chachi, I am not seeing anyone. But I have made a friend and we hang out at the Orphanage sometimes that's all" I said while still crying. "But what do you mean by business problems?" I asked her.

"Beta since you have only joined the business a few weeks ago, I am sure you do not know about this.... " then she told me how the son of Vadhera's was causing problems. "Even your chachu does not tell me details but I fear that something bad is going on " she said.

----Present----

I came back out of my flashback and opened the note. The manager had sent it but some details that were to be given to Chachi. I put it in my purse and got busy playing with the kids.

As I was going to my car, I dropped my keys. I bent to pick them but suddenly a hard hand pulled my arm and somebody harshly pushed me against the car.

My back was against the door of the car and I could feel the body of the intruder dominating mine. His hands were on either side of my arms holding me in place.

I looked up to see who it was ...
Of course, it had to be Mr. Vivaan Vadhera.

"What the hell is this?" I shouted at him trying to free myself from his stronghold.

"Enough stop moving ..." he shouted back.

"Leave me ... I said leave me.... ugh" I try to get myself out of his hold but his hold just got stronger on my upper arms.

"What are you doing here !? And what the hell is this behaviour ?" I said to him. He looked so angry for some reason. His face looked like it was with rage.

Suddenly his hands dropped but he was still standing very close to me. His breathing started to calm down a little.

"I ... um.. I ..." he was trying to find words but nothing came out.

"You have no right to be so close to me! Get away." I try to push him but he didn't move.

"I will never forgive you" he said that and left.

I never did anything to him and why we HE never forgive ME..... Something is clearly wrong with this guy.

I picked up my keys and drove home. On the way home, I could still fee his hands on my arms. His touch reminds me of how impure I am now. How his touch makes me shiver and yet I have to pretend to be confident in front of him.

As soon as I reached home, I saw Chachu and grandpa smiling and laughing.

"Namaste grandpa, hello chachu" I greeted them.

"Oh beta you are finally back... come here sit here we have to talk to you about something" chachu called to sit with them.

"Beta... there is something you should know. Something that will definitely make you happy." Grandpa said. Now I am curious.

"Beta Vivaan has apologized to us and has handed over the entire shares to us. He has his other companies to work with but he has completely withdrawn from our company. Now it's just ours ... just ours..." chachu said.

"Oh my god! Wow chachu that is great news. I can't believe this ... this is amazing just great..." I jumped with happiness but chachu stopped me

"Beta yes it's is nice but we have declined his offer. His father Dharmendra has also worked so much for this company and we didn't feel right to do it. Dharmendra may be paralyzed to a wheelchair now but he and his family deserve the profits of the company he worked so hard on" Chachu finally said

"But chachu ....Vivaaan has created so many problems for us" I tried to reason with him.

"Yes Beta I know Vivaan is the one who had tried to ruin us but he couldn't and also we cannot take out his hatred on The entire Vadhera family. So we have offered an alternative. We have asked to have Dharmendra as the honored head of the board of directors, so Dharmendra has the shares in his name, not Vivaan. Because Dharmendra is paralyzed, any decisions form his behalf will be taken by his son-in-law Akshay Kapoor. This is the good news we wanted to share with you, hopefully, we never have to see that boy again." Chachu said sounding satisfied.

This was still good news....NO Vivaan!!

"This is definitely good news chachu. I am so happy even I do not want to deal with that person again" I smiled and hugged him.

But only my heart know that he had RUINED us... he had me! He used me to ruin us! He ruined my self-respect! I never want to even think about him.

In the next few weeks, our family met the Vadhera's over various occasions. And all the times Vivan was nowhere to be seen. Seeing the two families interact, I saw how deep their affection and relation was and Mr.ArrogantVivan had ruined it all. I am glad that now hopefully I will never have to see him.

—After a few weeks—

"Hello ma'am" my secretary knocked and came in with a cup of coffee.

"Thanks Sumedha" I smiled at her as I took the first sip of my favorite coffee... um...

My day was filled with meetings and our company bagged two big mergers with two prominent multinational companies.

Everything was perfect, Avinash bhaiya introduced me to his girlfriend Anu. She was Vivan's distant cousin but with the changing relationship with the Vadheras, he was able to introduce Anu to our family. In fact just yesterday, their marriage was fixed on the basis that Bhaiya, who is now 29, is getting old and it is high time to get him married so that we can play with either little Avinash or little Anu. The entire family seemed to like her a lot and I was already in aw of how beautiful my future bhabhi is.

"Sumedha why is this audit not signed? Where is bhaiya? He was supposed to sign it !" I asked her

"Ma'am, Sir has gone to the dealer's office he won't be back until evening." She replied.

"Ok then get Mr. Dharmendra's stamp on it. It is urgent. I can't sign it, this is not my place" saying that I handed her the file.

"But Dharmendra Sir is not in the country. He is in the US for his yearly treatment" she replied back.

"Ok then get his son-in-law, Mr.Akash Kapoor of Kapoor and Son Enterprises to sign it because he has the signing authority on behalf of Mr.Dharmendra" I told her.

"Ma'am... he is not in the city either" Sumedha replied timidly knowing that now my anger was going up.

"What the hell is this? Nobody is here to sign this audit and those who are here cannot sign it. I cannot sign it, neither can Chachu and Dada ji is retired so he does not have signing authority. None of us have signing authority "So now who will sign this audit? This is totally unacceptable, your admin is supposed to make sure of these things" I screamed at her all angry because this was very unprofessional.

"Ma'am... uh.. there is one person in the city who still has signing authority" she spoke

"Well then who is it?"

"Mr..... Mr.Vi.. Mr. Vivan Kapoor ma'am"

I have no choice "Ok send this to his office and get it signed ASAP" I commanded her.

After two hours, my office door opened with a bang.

"..Please Sir.. I told you you cannot walk in just like that ..." I heard Sumedha speaking to the intruder. But the intruder was having none of it. He slightly moved towards Sumedha intimidating her till she was outside the threshold and closed the door on her face and locked it from inside.

"How dare you?" I shouted at him and from the other side of the door I could hear Sumedha screaming for help. I had to calm her down before the entire office know what is going on here... Vivan was not important enough to creat havock in the entire office and ruin our companies work.

I picked up my phone and dialed Sumedha's desk number which was right outside my cabin. After few rings, she picked it up. "Sumedha its ok, Vivan is a family friend so please dont worry and dont call anyone for help.. I am ok ... we are.. just friends having a chat in here ok?!" After convincing her I put the phone down.

"Look at you.... dressed in this hot tight pencil skirt" he came closer to me and caged me between himself and the desk.

"Stop it! How dare you walk into my office huh?" I tried to move away but his arms came around my waist and he suddenly pulled me towards him.

"Leave me ... you b*stard" I shouted at him again but my words were having no effect on him.

His face came down to my ear and he whispered"If you want me to sign this audit which will finalize your company's merger with the US-based multinational then you need to give me something. After all you will get such a profit from this merger then so should I" he smirked and all the color drain from my face.

"I don't owe you anything" I tried to be confident.

"Oh but you do .. remember our deal baby" he face came closer to mine

"But.. but that deal .. was only ... for.. one night .." I spoke but stammered a lot.

"No, it wasn't ... remember carefully, babe... you are mine for as long as I please and of course, you wouldn't want me to tell your family about how you got me to sign those shares now would you?! hmm.."

His lips touched my neck and he started trailing soft wet kisses on my neck. He fingers swiftly opened the buttons of my blouse and soon it was like my nightmare was repeating itself....

"Sumedha please take that coffee away. These days I feel like puking just looking at that thing." I told her, the smell of coffee from so far away had my stomach turning upside down.

Sumedha took my coffee out and came back with a glass of water. I quickly chugged the water in.
