felix chuckles and then goes on to speak.

"I want you to meet my mom... if that's okay" chan smiles softly and nods.

"yay!" felix smiles and chan laughs.

"you're so cute" felix's checks turn a pink color after chan's compliment. "see?"

"shut up and come on" felix grabs his hand as they leave school to go back to felix's house.

"what if she doesn't like me felix? what if she kicks me out? what if—" felix interrupts chan's stupidness.

"stop asking stupid questions, she's gonna love you" felix strokes his hair as chan nods.

when they enter, felix sees his mom sitting on the sofa watching television.

"hi mom"

"oh! hi honey, who's this?" she notices chan right away, who looked nervous to meet his boyfriend's mom.

"mom this is chan" she stands up.

"ohhh so you're chan the one who my son talks about all the time?" felix's eyes widen and he shushes her.

"what? I'm a mom it's my job to embarrass my child" he looks away from them and then he sees taeyoon walk in.

"what's he doing here?" felix mumbles, of course his mom hears it.

"well honey he's here because there's something that you should know..."

"don't tell me...."

"yes honey, we're getting married" felix's eyes widen.

"are you kidding me!? that's... that's ridiculous... I don't need another dad! wait is he gonna walk out on us like dad did!? is he gonna claim he'll come back and he won't!? is everything just gonna be upsetting again!?"

"felix—"

"I don't need another useless dad! it was perfectly fine with just the two of us!" felix runs upstairs, and chan goes after him.

"felix come on..." chan looks at him who was on his bed.

"what? am I supposed to be all happy and excited?"

"no... but you shouldn't have lashed out like that"

"you don't understand what I've gone through after my dad left us! I've never found happiness again!"

"so... I don't make you happy?"

"that's not what I meant... I meant after he left... before I met you"

"you could've said that"

"I was just making a point"

"didn't seem like it"

"please don't be mad or upset chan..." felix gets up and wraps his arms around him. "I really meant it. my dad used to always say things he didn't mean when he was angry... I got it from him"

he lets out a small smile when chan wraps his arms around him.

"I do understand how you feel... I lost my dad too..."

"I know"

"and that's why you should try and accept him... you still have a chance of having a dad again"

"I just don't want anyone leaving me again"

"if someway that does happen... I'll be here by your side" felix smiles.

"I feel safe right now... here with you... in your arms"

"good" chan kisses his forehead.

there's a knock on the door, it was felix's mom who saw the two of them in the position.

she smiles when she sees how happy felix looked with chan, she closes the door and lets their moment continue.

"how about you at least try? do it for your mom... don't you want her to be happy?"

"of course"

"then at least try, you don't have to like him right away... I'm sure he'll understand" felix nods.
