"felix! dinner!" his mom yells upstairs to felix and chan who were still hanging out in his room.

they come downstairs to see jisun and taeyoon getting ready to sit down.

chan looked at felix, who nodded and sat down across from taeyoon, chan next to him.

"I'm sorry about earlier..." felix is the first to speak.

"honey don't be sorry"

"no, to taeyoon" he looks at felix in shock as he's never talked to him much like, ever. "I just feel like if I accept you and actually like you then you'll leave me like my dad did..."

"you don't have to apologize I understand what you're going through... my dad left me when I was young too, then my mom got remarried and I was in the same position you are now, wondering if my new dad will actually stay unlike my real dad, and worrying about if things won't be the same anymore"

"that's exactly how I feel" felix says.

"but eventually... I was able to get used to it because my new dad actually cared about me, my real dad never visited, he never bothered with us, but my new dad did. he was there for me a lot"

"that's like my dad"

"well I do hope eventually you'll be able to accept me because I would never leave you and your mom"

felix wanted to believe him, and he was gonna try.

"I had fun tonight meeting your mom" chan says as the two of them walk with their fingers entwined.

"me too, and thank you for convincing me to finally talk to taeyoon" felix looks at him.

"there's something I always wanted to ask you since we've met" chan stops and looks at him.

"what is it?"

"why me? I mean... there's nothing special about me. why am I the one you came close with?"

"that's easy, because you're you. you're honest, and handsome, and fun" they both exchange smiles.

"keep going" felix laughs from chan's reaction.

"I don't need to keep going for you to know my feelings"

"fine, but I'm happy that you came here, I would've still been bullied and made fun of... maybe even worse"

"when I came here, nothing made me happy, I was miserable and a mess because of all this change, we're both messed up I guess"

"you did it again" chan's smile fades.

"what?"

"you saying nothing makes you happy"

"I said 'made', it's a past tense"

"yeah but you could've said that I make you happy after that"

"chan..."

"I'm sorry I'm not your happiness" chan lets go of felix's hand.

"come on please don't be like this!"

"how can I not? you haven't said it at all that I make you happy"

"I... I—"

"I'll see you tomorrow at school" chan goes to walk away but felix goes after him.

"you are my happiness! it's just hard to express my feelings... I've never been good at it... I have all these feelings when I'm around you... I don't know how to describe it... my heart beats fast... I get butterflies... I... I... I think it might be love" chan stops but still has his back turned to him.

"it's love for me" chan whispers.

"I love you" chan slowly turns around and looks at him. "I'm sorry for not being honest about my feelings sometimes I'm just worried you don't feel the same way and—" chan cuts him off by kissing him.

"of course I feel the same way" chan caresses his left cheek with his right hand. "I love you too"

they both exchange smiles and felix wraps his arms around chan, who does the same thing.

"awww!" they both look at felix's mom, who heard everything.

"mom!" chan starts laughing, and eventually felix laughs with him.
