Keith POV
"Why did it have to be me? Why couldn't anyone anyone else muster the courage to ask him if hes okay?"

He paused realizing he answered his own question. His footsteps was the only sound that could be heard in that area of the castle. He started wondering what could have caused Lance to act this way. He remembered the last mission the team went on.

~commencing flashback~
The paladins were facing a fleet of Zarkon's guards while trying to recover Allura from captivity. Shiro, Keith, and Lance were aboard while Pidge and Hunk stayed behind just incase the castle was ambushed. While inside there was tension in tge air. Then the blue paladin spoke up.

"So... What room should the princess be in?" He asked.

"Lance. Stop talking we dont need you asking unwanted questions." Keith responded.

"Geez, sorry Mullet. Didnt mean to get you upset with me so fast i was ju-"

"NO ONE CARES LANCE JUST FOLLOW SHIRO HE KNOWS WHERE TO GO. STOP ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS AND SHUT UP ALREADY." Keith shouted back at him.
Keith saw that the blue paladins' smile falter and how he just nodded his head in response. Shiro looked at Keith while such a shocked expression it made hin realise how he just treated Lance. He just about to apologize when an explosion came from the wall next to Lance. Sentry guards came at the trio but were no match for them. Luckily, the wall led right to the room Allura was in. They were heading back to the castle when both Allura and Shiro were frozen in place look at the floor. Keith looked and saw and unconsious Lance with wall ruble on him.
"Lance!!" He screamed but only got and small eye twitch in response.
Third person POV
Lance was only in the healing pod for a few hours. He wasnt really hurt just knocked out.

Keith wondered if his words hurt him so much. He hoped Lance was okay. He wanted to apologize but didnt know how. He was pondering ways on how to apologize when he started hearing small  sniffles and sobs. He started walking faster.
