I'm so sorry for not writing in a while it's my senior year and I have work so it's been a bit much so I'm sorry if this chapter sucks ass

Also it's been maybe a month

                          (Romans POV)

Last week we had our first ever argument it started how you'd think Logan has been making me eat at least a bit and I didn't want to so I threw it all up and eventually Logan witnessed me and he got mad at me and I got mad in return and then ignored him we're better now we talked it out and apologized although I don't think Lo is done apologizing he's been sending me flowers almost every day since the apology so roughly 5 1/2 days "Logan!" I call for him we're at his house right now

"Yes Ro?" I hear him say from the top of the stair at his new house he moved in closer to me basically a block down

"Can you come down here?" It's New Year's Eve and I'm spending it at his house I hear foot steps coming down the stairs he peaks at me from around the corner

"Yes Roman?" I smile at him and hold my arms out wanting him to sit with me he rolls his eyes but smiles a little and comes to sit next to me I lean on him and he lays his head on mine

"I'm still sorry about our fight" I felt his head shift away from mine then felt a light kiss pressed on my forehead

"Don't apologize so much I wasn't thinking properly when I said that and it was a disrespectful thing especially when I know what you've gone through with that particular struggle" I looked at him tears forming in the corner of my eyes

"I love you so much" I said burying my face in his neck

"I love you too" he said rubbing circles on my back I hear the snap of a Polaroid camera and hear Logan's mom say calmly

"For the memories."

"Mom you have a whole photo album full of plenty of memories of everyone you've talked to undoubtedly there's a page dedicated to mine and Ro's relationship"

"Can you blame me my little boy is growing up I have pictures of when you where still small enough to hold in one arm" my head shot up I haven't seen Logan's baby pictures yet a smile creeped onto my face

"Can I see those pictures" I said looking back at her and she nodded excitedly and ran away to her room Logan sighed

"God those pictures are embarrassing" I cross my arms

"You saw my baby pictures so it's my turn to see yours" I stated leaning back to where I previously was Logan's mom walked back in shortly after I moved away from Logan and leaned over looking at the book my eyes lit up

"This is me and Logan when he was first born" and she went on and on for hours soon it was around 11:40ish so time to start New Year's Eve stuff we had dinner and left the dishes on the table as the announcer stated that it was 1 minute until the new year I sat on the couch patiently watching the tv soon the countdown started addy had fallen asleep

"10!" The tv stated loudly Logan's mom walked to the kitchen

"9" I felt Logan place his arm over my shoulders

"8" that new year new me bullshit leaving my thoughts I want to change this year yes

"7" I want to change so that I can stay with Logan as long as time will give us

"6" I want to change so that I can finally be happy with myself

"5" I want to change to surround myself with those I care about and those who care about me

"4" I want to make it through this school year and graduate

"3" I want to live forever with the people I love

"2" I want to learn not to care about other peoples views on me

"1" because at the end of the day the only thing i need is the people who make me feel loved who make me happy and make me feel like a person Logan kissed me gently and I kissed back I am finally happy with who I am once we pulled apart I smiled I'm happy with who I've surrounded myself with

"Happy New Years my love" he dotted my face with short and sweet kisses

"Happy New Years Lo" I said wrapping my arm's around him in a gentle hug

(Logan's POV)

During the entire countdown I was examining Romans face and for once he looked happy like he wasn't just trying to look happy for the sake of others like he genuinely was happy in the way he wanted to be. I hate that cheesy New Years kiss stuff but this year I don't know what it was but as soon as I heard the TV shout the number one I kissed Roman he is my whole world and deserves everything I hope he's finally starting to find that out for himself Roman hugged me as tightly as he could burying his face in my neck yet again

"Alright you two go to sleep we have a lot of cooking to do tomorrow and Romans family is coming over for New Year's Day" my mom said looking at us

"Alright" I stand up my arms still wrapped around Roman he was breathing more steadily and his arms loosened around me signaling he had fallen asleep

"I'm glad you finally found someone who you care about Logan" I looked at my mom with I smile

"I'm glad that he came into my life when he did" and with that I walked up to my room still carrying Roman careful to not wake him up I set him down on my bed and go to get our phones from downstairs I see my mom on the couch with a glass of wine I grab a cup of coffee and sit next to her

"I was worried..." she said after us sitting in almost complete silence besides the sound of  the rom com on the tv

"About?" I asked looking over at her

"When your dad left you had to grow up so quickly...I was a mess and couldn't even take care of myself and you took care of all of us... I was just worried that you'd end up with no partner or anything" I sat not saying a word until she finished speaking

"I was never mad at you for any of that." I said before taking a sip of my coffee " I understood I mean not fully but you got better and look we have a new house you have a wonderful job." She looked at me

"You have a boyfriend that I'm sure you'd go to ends of hell for." She smiled and I nodded I wasn't going to disagree she was right.

"Well, night mom I love you"

"I love you too Logan sleep well" I went to the kitchen and rinsed out my coffee cup along with the remaining coffee and then went up to my room I looked at Romans phone screen still the picture of us kissing in the snow when I got to my room Roman was sitting up on the bed his arms around his legs I plugged our phones in and sat next to him

"Logan..." I hum a response and pull him close to me "Thank you...you know for being so perfect." He was obviously on the verge of falling asleep again

"No thank you Ro for just being you" I said quietly "now let's go to sleep" he nodded slightly and I laid down Roman laid on me his head rested on my chest I take my glasses off and set them on the bedside table

"Night Logan" I rub small circles on his back

"Goodnight my dear" soon we're both asleep
