It was a normal bright day for a certain ginger haired boy.

He struggled waking up in the morning as usual which would always lead to-

"Shoyo!! Mama said you needa wake up!"

"Shhh, Natsu- 5 more minut---" He murmured before falling back to sleep snoring instantly with drooling falling from his mouth.

"Mama said right now!" The little girl yelled as she jumped hard on top of him, causing him to make a loud grunt sound followed by-

"owwwwww!!!! why you!-" He let out as he began tickling his younger sister, while they laughed in unison.

After a few minutes they both flopped onto there backs giggling 

"Shoyo! Natsu! Hurry before your breakfast gets cold!"

'Dammit! I forgot about morning practice!' Hinata thought as him and his sister began to hurry down the stairs.

He sat at the kitchen table hurriedly gulping down his food as fast as possible.

"Woah slow down there Shoyo, you'll get a stomach ache if you keep eating so fast." Said his mother taking a seat.

"Done!"
"I forgot I had morning practice today!" He said rushing to the front door

"Okay, well have fun." his mother replied laughing a bit as Hinata fled outside

"Your brother's such a dunce." She giggled looking back to Natsu

"A dungce?-"

"Never mind." She smiled.

 Hinata rushed to school on his bike, riding as fast as possible knowing that if he arrived to practice too late he'd get scolded by Daichi and or Kageyama.

He preferred getting yelled at by Daichi though- Kageyama's scarier in his opinion.

Either he sped to the gym as fast as possible (A/N: He didn't even check the time at least once- such a dumb butt XDD )

When he finally found himself outside the gym, he could hear the sound of volleyballs and everyone inside.

He took a deep breath before entering the gym doors.

"Good morning everyon-!" He started before-

"Why're you late again!? You're even later then you were yesterday!" Kageyama scolded approaching Hinata who was trembling in fear.

"I- Uh- I well..."

"Well, what!?"

"I---- slept in." He sighed hanging his head in defeat.

Hinata could practically feel the dark aura from Kageyama growing bigger and fiercer with anger.

"Okay you two, calm down." Said Daichi walking between them

"Hinata, start waking up on time for now on." He added strictly

"And Kageyama, relax."

*Ding Ding Ding*

"I guess we'll all practice more after school- and hinata." Daichi says turning to him

"You better not be late." He finished causing Hinata to jump in fear

"Y-Yes captain!"

...

The morning carried on as usual, Hinata went to his classes trying his hardest not to dose off from the boringness.

Something Hinata severely hated was when the teachers would call on him knowing he wasn't listening at all- It embarrassed him way too much, but he couldn't help that the classes were sooo booooringgg. 

Luckily somehow he managed to stay awake until lunch.

He walked outside to his usual spot, and began practicing hitting his volleyball into the air over and over. 

"Oi, do you ever eat during lunch?" Said a voice ordering something from the vending machine.

Hinata walked over to see Kageyama buying a drink.

"Not really." He replied scratching the back of his head

"Does your mom make you lunches or do you get money to buy it?"

"My mom makes it for me." Hinata smiles.

"And you don't eat them? That's a waste of your moms time." Kageyama frowned before drinking his juice.

Hinata gulped feeling a bit bad now.

"I-I guess your right.."

Kageyama then sighed and turned away to go else where.

"Wait! Kageyama! What do you usually do at lunch?" Hinata asked smiling.

"Nothing."

"Wanna sit with me here then??" He asks 

"Why should I?"

"Well- no reason really, just thought since we're friends we could eat together, yah no?" He says happily.

Kageyama froze for a moment.

'He considers me his friend?..'

He slowly turned facing the smaller male while taking a sip of his juice.

"Fine, I guess." he replys

"YAY!" Hinata jumped happily
"It gets kinda lonely sitting here alone." he adds as they sit down.

"Hm? Don't you have friends you can spend lunch with?" Kageyama asks confused

"Well yes I do, a lot actually." Hinata laughs

"So? Why don't you eat with them?"

"Well- Volleyball, I always practice here during lunch."

"Volleyball's that important to you, huh?"

"Well, I don't mean for it to sound that i put volleyball above my friends in class- It's more like everyone in the volleyball club are my closest friends, that's all i need." He says looking forward with a sincere smile.

When kageyama saw the way hinata's face looked, and let his words sink in he felt something- but what was it?- It was this sort of warm feeling inside...

But before he could ever reply the bell went off.

"Well! Guess I'll see you later at practice Kageyama!" Hinata said pouncing off waving goodbye.

'what the fuck was that?'.. Thought Kageyama

...

During the last few classes Hinata kept thinking..

'That was so weird..When i was with Kageyama- It made me feel so warm inside..'
'It made me happy that he sat with me- I want to spend more time with him like that.'

When the school day was finally over Hinata ran to he gym wanting to be the first one there-

when suddenly he saw Kageyama a bit a head of him.

"I'LL BEAT YOU THERE!" yelled hinata as he darted passed him shoving him in the process

"WHY YOU!" Screamed Kageyama in anger as he sprinted to the gym trying to beat him there.

But- Hinata had to much of a head start.

"I WIN!!!"

"ONLY BECAUSE YOU CHEATED BAKAYARO!"

"SUCKS FOR YOU!" 
 
They continued bickering until finally the rest of the team arrived 

"Okay stop it you two." Said Suguwara standing between them

"We're all here now so lets focusing on practice." He adds

They both calmed down and entered the gym with the rest of the team.

Practice went very well.

Hinata kept becoming stronger and stronger with spiking kageyama's sets, while Kageyama was becoming better at setting for tanaka's and Asahi's liking.

Sooner or later it was getting late.

Usually everyone would stay until different times of the evening.

Kageyama would go home a bit before hinata, but today they ended up leaving for the same time.

"Why're you following me?" Kageyama asked weirded out considering Hinata was following him dragging his bike along.

"Eh!? I'm not following you! You're walking in the direction I live in!" He yells

"what- where do you live?"

"Why should I tell you!?" He says

"Okay then don't"

"Ugh fine, I live on Manatori house 37." 

kageyama turns to face him staring him down

"W-What!? Don't pull your face like that you look scary!"

"I'm not doing anything, that's just my face!"

Hinata doesn't know how to reply to that so he ends up breaking out into laughter

"Ugh shut up! Anyway, you live the same direction as me. I live 3 streets opposite the side of your street."

"EH!? seriously!? How have I never seen you before then?" 

"I don't know."

The rest of the walk was Hinata just talking about randomness and teasing Kageyama at points to get him going.

When they finally arrived to Hinata's street, they said their good byes- but then hinata said

"Oi! Kageyama!"

"hm?" he said while turning to face him

"To be honest- It was nice talking more with you today.." Hinata could feel his cheeks heat up from his words.

"Maybe..I dunno, wanna hang out at my house after school tomorrow and play games or something?.."

Kageyama didn't know how to respond to this- all he could tell was that that warm feeling inside grew bigger- causing his cheeks to turn warm up.

'what do i say?..'

"If i'm not busy, then I guess."

"o-oh- okay! I'll see you tomorrow!" Hinata yelled before hopping on his bike and riding off.

That night when both the boys lied in bed all they could think about was that warm feeling they felt towards one another..What was it?- Why were they feeling it all a sudden?- or maybe..

'That feeling was always there wasn't it?..' They thought before drifting off into a soundless sleep.
