Lukas blinked keeping silent thinking over what the other had just said
"Y-you do? Even though- after what happened?.." He mumbled looking up to him

He nodded stepping forward motioning Lukas to walk, he didn't really wish to continue the conversation
In all honesty he said that out loud on accident

Lukas walked with him quickly the walk was quiet and horribly awkward it was killing him to not say anything to the other but he knew it would make it more tense than it already was

Mathias sighed fixing his jacket and glanced over at Lukas silently till he couldn't handle it "look Lukas"

He began slowly
"About what I said, I really do still love you but if it's going to make things worse lets just pretend I didn't say anything at all.. Okay?"

Lukas felt a tight pain in his chest when he spoke
He nodded quickly looking down at the snow engulfed sidewalk as they walked downhill "mmh okay.."

Mathias stuffed his hands in his jean pockets and glanced to the side across the road examining the small little shops they passed as they walked "okay.." He mumbled to himself and stayed silent

The rest of their walk was short and slowly got louder as more people walked by them chatting about random things and laughing

Mathias felt an insanely heavy weight get lifted of his shoulders as he saw the coffee shops sign appear to the right of them

Lukas yawned and looked up at the sign feeling excitement because
1. He needs some fucking coffee and
2. He can finally talk to Mathias and figure out what's wrong

He reached for the door but paused as it was opened for him, by Mathias.
He thanked him and walked in getting an instant wave of freshly ground
coffee beans, caramel and sweets
The aroma always pleased him when he came in the morning.

He took Mathias's hand lightly and walked over to an empty table and sat down with Mathias across from him
"Okay now that were here whats been going on with you Mathias? Your worrying me"
