"Everyone, please follow me." Master Fu said as the four young adults and three kwamis looked at him and Wayzz.

" I want to take you to the training area, where you can improve your skills." Master Fu said, but went silent when he saw Wayzz acting strange.

" Wayzz, what's wrong?"
"Master, I think he is on the move." Master Fu widened his eyes, and took the remote. He turned the TV on, and said:
" Adrien, head out."

"But Master, what about their training?"

" They will have to learn on the go. I thought he wouldn't do anything for another day atleast. I guess I was wrong." Master Fu said as he started searching around the place.

Alya figured out something, and then yelled:
" Wait.... YOU WANTED TO TEACH US EVERYTHING IN ONE DAY?!"

Master Fu just smiled:
" Of course. Ladybug and Chat Noir did it in one day, even without my help."

Alya and Chloe just looked at him in disbelief, and suddenly a fox kwami spoke:
" Come on Alya! If Plagg could teach his holder all the necessary stuff in a day, I could teach you in half an hour."

Plagg glared at Trixx, while she just smirked back at him.

"Alright, enough you two." Wayzz stopped them from going any further.

" Adrien, take Alya with you. I think you will be a fine teacher." Master Fu said.

" Ok, Alya, when you want to transform, say, Trixx, tricks out!" Trixx repeated what she told her before.

" Yeah, yeah. I know." Alya replied.

"Plagg, claws out!"
" Trixx, tricks out!"

And so, Chat Noir and the real Volpina went out to check out the situation, while Chloe and Marinette stayed behind.

The news came on, and the reporter was clearly distressed, but what she said. Changed. Everything.

Ok, kitties, from now on, I am going to quickly change the scenes between Spotty Bane and our heroes. Ok? Ok. These are the signals:

" National emergency! The snake people are kidnapping children! I repeat, the snake people are kidnapping children! Please keep your kids inside and hide them! The snake people have now turned aggresive!"

" My dear Serpentine army, I need all of the children under the age of 16. Take them all! Without children, Paris has no future. Besides, we need more soldiers, and especially the ones our opponents can't fight." Spotty Bane smirked.

" NO! MOMMY!"
" Hang in there, Ashley!" A woman cried as her daughter was taken away.

" Ay! Spotty! Is this going to be enough?" Jack yelled to Spotty Bane.

"How much children are there?"
" 800!"
" Collect another 100, then turn their arms into wings! And of course, I want them to have beautiful purple tails with a snake on them."
"Got that, boss. But will it be good enough to beat them?" Jack wondered.

Spotty Bane just smiled:
" We are about to find out. Your turn Wayzz."

The Serpentine people attacked a kindergarten, and were monitored by Volpina.

One of the serpents picked up a small boy in a Chat Noir onesie. The boy screamed:
" Chat Noir!!! Save me!!!"

Right on cue, a staff hit the beast in the face, and knocked it down.

" You called?" Chat Noir grinned.

Volpina growled and attacked him, but was blocked by the real deal. They both landed in front of the entrance of the kindergarten, and the fake Volpina smirked:
" It's like I'm looking in a mirror."

The true Volpina just smirked, and replied:
" Is that so? Well, then I have one hell of a bad hair day."

They both growled, and started fighting. Meanwhile, Chat Noir took out the Serpentine soldiers,one by one. After he saved the boy that called him, the boy smiled and said:
" Thank you for saving me. I bet your kids think you're an awesome dad!"

Chat blinked twice, smiled and said:
" Oh, no kid. I'm not a dad."

The kid's smile disappeared, and he said:
" But you act just like my daddy. Maybe you just lost your kid, Chat Noir."

The boy was called by someone, so he hugged Chat, and said:
" Good bye Chat Noir! Say hi to your family!"

Chat just looked down, and sadly said:
" I lost her alright.... I almost lost me as well."

He was called by Alya, who struggled a bit:
" Hey, Chat Noir! You can count pebbles later, now please help me!"

"Right, sorry!" Chat Noir grabbed his staff and attacked the fake Volpina. She backed away and growled, saying:

"Untill next time." And she disappeared.

"Let's go back." Chat Noir said to the panting Volpina.

Spotty Bane looked at his new flying force, when a beaten up Volpina appeared.

"What happened to you?"

"Master, they are very strong. The 7 serpents and I were beaten like we were nothing." She bowed.

Spotty Bane just looked away, and smiled:
"Then, let's spice things up, shall we?"

Chat Noir and Volpina returned to Master Fu.

"How did it go?" Master Fu said.
"They are tuff to beat, but not unbeatable. Although I think rookie here needs a break."

Alya glared at him, and replied:
" If looks could kill, you would have a tombstone already."

" Ok, ok. Volpina, I hoped you learned something from Chat Noir, you can go rest now. Chat Noir, take a quick break, then it's Queen Bee's turn."

Chat Noir nodded and went towards the kitchen.

Master sighed, and sent Alya out to get some Chinese for lunch. Chat Noir and Queen Bee went out to scout a little more. Now, where is Marinette?

Master looked around, and found her on the same place were she fell when she tried to punch Chloe. She was sitting, hugging her knees. She was looking at the floor.

Master nudged her, and she looked up at him, and followed him. They sat at the couch, and he asked her:

"Marinette? Are you sad?"
"No, Master. Just concerned."
"Why?"

She looked him in the eyes, and replied:
"When I went to punch Chloe, a snake appeared in my head, taunting me to punch Chloe, because one contact is all it needs."

Master didn't say anything, he just stood up, and asked:
"Is there something else?"

Marinette looked down and said:
"Yes. How are we going to get Tikki back?"

Master smiled reassuringly and put his hand on her shoulder:
" Don't worry, Marinette. Tikki has been through worse. And we will save her, I promise. Try to smile more, Marinette. We all miss your smile."

Marinette smiled and honest smile, and said:
"Ok, Master Fu."
"Good. Now, follow me."

Master Fu took Marinette to the bedroom, and made her lie down. He started humming and placed his hands on her forehead and heart. He soon removed his hands.

" Could it be?" Master Fu paled.

Nino was at home, studying while listening to some music on his headphones. He never even noticed the Evillustrator erasing his door.

Jack tapped on his shoulder, and when Nino turned around, punched him square in the face, and knocked him out.

Everyone finally came together. The atmosphere was a little bit more relaxed, since it turned out they actually have a chance at defeating him.

While having lunch, Adrien called the Master to the other room.

"Master... I want to know how Marinette is doing."
"Is something wrong, Adrien?"
"Yes. I saved a kid today. He thought I was a father, because I looked like a father. But I am not."
" You know, the child wasn't lying. You were a father, weren't you?"

Adrien nodded and looked down.

"And you still are."
"W-what? But Emma is... not with us anymore." Adrien widened his eyes.
"Yes. She is not with us anymore. But Emma was not alone."

"W-what do you mean?" Adrien thought, that maybe Emma survived somehow.

"Think, Adrien. You are smart."
Adrien thought for a while.

" She had twins??? So that means, we still have a baby." Adrien jaw-dropped.

Master Fu just nodded, and Adrien hugged him, smiling like a child.

"Jack, did you really have to hit him that hard?" Spotty Bane looked at him.

" Well, you said knock him out."

"Yes I did. But not knock his brains out. Ugh, fine, I guess I will have to heal him quick and start with the plan." Spotty Bane groaned.

10 minutes later

Nino woke up sitting on a chair,on a stage. A bunch of Serpentine soldiers and mutated children watched him.

When he looked around, he only saw Volpina and Evillustrator, seemingly sleeping at his sides while standing.

"Hey, where am I?" Nino asked.

Jack stepped out of the crowd, and smiled:
"Finally, you are awake. Time to start, I guess."

Behind him, Spotty Bane appeared, with a wide grin.

"Volpina, rip his shirt." Volpina opened her eyes, and ripped out his shirt, scratching him in the process.

While Nino screamed from pain, Spotty Bane's grin just grew wider.

"Pass the dagger." He said. Jack gave him a dagger which had a pure white blade, and a black handle decorated with a dark snake.

Spotty Bane's smiled disappeared, and he said:
"Cut me." While he hovered over Nino's bleeding chest.

Jack took the dagger, and lightly cut the tip of Spotty Bane's tail. Spotty Bane hissed as a drop of black blood started forming on the tip of his tail.

" Nino Lahiffe, only a rare few only ever get to experience my blood."

The drop fell onto Nino's wounds. The Evillustrator erased the rope tying him and the chair he was tied to. Nino fell to the floor, constricting and screaming.

" Let the darkness consume you, protect you." Spotty Bane whispered.

" Ok.... Master."

Spotty Bane smirked, and said:
"Turn the cameras on."

Everyone was in the living room, talking casually, when the news reporter said :
"We interrupt this program to bring you a suprise broadcast from Serpentina's mansion!" At that, everyone turned their heads towards the TV, and watched.

Spotty Bane appeared on screen, smiling, and saying:
"You will enjoy this."

The camera moved to show a crippled Nino, bloody and lying on a stage.

"NINO! NO!!!!!!" Alya screamed. Adrien balled up a fist, while Chloe and Marinette watched in disbelief.

"Nino Lahiffe, do you swear you will keep me safe, keep everything I own safe, and keep all of my servants safe?"

"I do... Master..." Came Nino's weak reply.

Spotty Bane smiled and turned to the camera:

" I am pleased to welcome a new member to our army. Everyone, make a warm welcome for the Bubbler."

A black mist swallowed Nino's body. Soon, the Bubbler stood up and smiled.

And the broadcast ended with Spotty Bane's creepy laugh.

"NINO!!! NO!! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS, YOU SLIMEY DISGUSTING CREATURE!" Alya yelled and ran out of the apartment.

"Master, may I go for a walk?" Marinette whispered.

"Yes, you may." Master said without thinking.

Chloe went home earlier, so that her dad wouldn't worry.

"Good. One more servant after this should be enough." Spotty Bane smiled.

His army roared in approval. He soon dismissed them and took the Bubbler, the Evillustrator, Volpina and Jack back with him to his room.

He sat down on his place, and smiled:
"Bubbler, you will team up with the Evillustrator, ok?"

" Sure. The dude is wicked, master."

Spotty Bane smiled, then stopped. He floated up, rage slowly filling his eyes. He got angry and hissed:

" What?" Spotty Bane widened his eyes and his jaw dropped.

"Master?" Volpina tilted her head.
"How is this possible?" He hissed through his teeth.

Master Fu was still sitting there, when he heard the door slam. He snapped out of it, and asked Adrien, the only one there:

"Who left?"
"Marinette, Master."
"What?!"
"Master, you let her out."
"Oh no, what was I thinking?!" Master facepalmed.

He started walking around the room, whispering something to himself. He stopped and asked Adrien:

" Adrien, when did you last sleep with Marinette?"

Adrien blushed and said:
"Um, two months ago."
"Oh no..."
"Master, what's tha matter with that?"

Fu sat down, sighed, and explained:
"Adrien, both you and Marinette are very powerful. Not anyone can carry the two most powerful Miraculouses ever created. Your children will be even more powerful, so powerful infact, that they can defeat Spotty Bane without using a Miraculous. The embrio starts developing its powers at 2 months old, and Spotty Bane can sense it."

"Wait... does that mean... Adrien paled.
"He will try to kill Marinette."

"Master?" All of them asked.

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng is still pregnant." He said with a furious voice.

"Want us to rip the baby out of her?" Volpina grinned evilshly, showing how she would rip the baby out of Marinette.

"No. I will deal with this one personaly. You stay here. Jack, come with me." Spotty Bane calmed down.

"Yes, master." They left through the shadows.

Marinette walked around the darkening streets, thinking to herself. Nino got taken away. She can't just stand by the sidelines anymore. She needs to find Tikki A.S.A.P.

She walked into a park, and got onto a hill. She looked around, and sighed.

"Tikki, where could you be?"

"Oh, Marinette, I believe I have an answer to that." Marinette's eyes widened. That voice, that feeling, that memory.... Spotty Bane.

"What are you doing here?" She said, without moving an inch.

"Why, I came to make a deal. My darling Tikki has been missing you so much."

Marinette made a disgusted face, and replied:
"I don't make deals with murderers."

Spotty Bane now floated in front of her face, smiling:

"Me, a murderer? Oh, no dearie, I didn't kill anyone significant to you."

" Did you just call my daughter insignificant?" She frowned.

" I believe I never killed your daughter. In fact, you did."

" Liar! I did not kill her!" She spat out.

" Oh, sweet, ignorant Marinette. There is no one else to blame, but you. You were the one who lost the battle, right?" He smirked.

" I...lost that fair and square." She faltered a bit.

" Hahahah, even more ignorance! You, as Ladybug, were obviously stronger than a little embrio, don't you think?"

" No! She had a sword and skills-"
"But she never saw that sword. You gave her the sword. You gave her your skills. And finally, YOU are the one who missed the perfect shot, on purpose."

Marinette slightly shivered, knowing he was right.
" That is not all there is." She replied.

"Oh but it is. Even when her life depended on it, you could not hurt her. Your mother's instinct prevented you from hurting a shadow. I was there Marinette. I watched it all." He floated a bit further from her.

"Y-you... Your poison is the one to blame..."

" My poison? My poison wasn't meant for you. You are the one who foolishly jumped in front of the dart. Chat Noir would have survived this, while you didn't have a chance, which Tikki must have told you." A tear fell from Marinette's face.

"However you turn the board, you lose."

In that moment, Chat Noir came running into the park, yelling:
"MARINETTE!!"

"Hold him." A strong Serpentine soldier grabbed him from behind, and brought him on the foot of the hill.

"Look at him, Marinette." Marinette looked up, her eyes full of tears.

" He is such a great fighter. He is so loyal, and selfless. You, on the other hand, can't think to save your life... Or your child's."

"MARINETTE! NO!" Chat yelled, but in vain.

Jack approached them, holding the same dagger which cut Spotty Bane earlier, it still had a black spot from his blood on it.

Marinette looked at the dagger, and took it.

" Marinette, you should know that I still have honour, so I will promise you this. I won't hurt your boyfriend, and I will protect Tikki, with every fibre of my being, for as long as I live." Spotty Bane said seriously.

"P-promise?" Marinette whispered.

"Promise." Spotty Bane replied.

Marinette smiled weakly, and said:
" I love you, Adrien Agreste."

She raised the dagger high up into the air, its tip pointing to her heart.

Chat had no choice. He promised himself he would never do this, but he just couldn't watch this, not again.

".... CATACLYSM!!!" And he escaped the screaming lizard man.

Marinette swung her hand, the blade nearing her heart.

Spotty Bane disappeared through the shadows, as he believed Chat can't make it in time.

Chat ran as fast as he could, and caught the dagger in mid-air. Marinette lowered her gaze, and started crying. She let go of the dagger, and leaned herself onto Chat.

" C-chat? H-how can you still love me? A-after I-i caused you so much heartache? A-after being s-so pathetic for the last t-two months? A-after I lost your child? H-how can you still love me, when I can't love myself?"

"Marinette..." Chat whispered.

He started humming.

"Loving can hurt.... Loving can hurt sometimes.... But it's the only thing that I know... Know..." He hugged her.

"When it gets hard.... You know it can get hard sometimes.... It is the only thing that makes us feel alive...."

Marinette kept crying, while Chat said:
"Marinette. I don't care what you did, where did you go wrong, or what he says about it. It happened Marinette, we can't to much about it. I still love you, because you are still you, Mari. You are still as sweet as you were under my umbrella."

Marinette calmed down, and smiled at the memory.

" Mari, don't ever forget that I love you. Ever."

" I won't. For as long as I live."
