Ok ok ok. Before we go on, I am sorry for not updating. I unfortunaly suffer from the dreaded writer's block. I really hate it, but I hope it will go away until next time! Since I suffer from this condition, I just couldn't make a long chapter.  Btw, happy Valentine's Day! And what better way to celebrate than with this:

Chat Noir and Marinette fell on their knees, Marinette feeling extremely tired all of a sudden. She looked the ground, and whispered to Chat:

" He controlled me, Chat. With just a few words."
"I know."
"He told me to kill myself and I almost listened to him. I almost ended my life because of a simple conversation. I am so weak." Marinette blinked to stop the tears.

Chat let her lean on him, and stroked her back.
" It's ok, Marinette. You can't be harmed by his words anymore."

After a longer silence, she spoke:
"Chat, if he can kill a person just by talking to them, imagine what he can do when we fight against him. We stand no chance." She let a tear slip down her cheek.

"Don't give up so easily, Marinette." A voice from behind them spoke. Chat Noir and Marinette turned to see Master Fu and Alya at the park entrance. Alya runs over to Marinette, while Chat Noir detransforms.

Adrien takes the Camembert that Master Fu brought to him. Alya wiped the tears off of Marinette's face, and helps her up.

" Marinette, Spotty Bane is no simple akuma to beat, or a common crook. He holds 5000 years of hatred and insanity in his heart. On top of that, he is intelligent. He planned this to the T. Just blindly attacking him won't do us any good."

Marinette sinffed one more time, and asked:
" T-then, what do you propose?"

Master Fu smirked and said:
" First, we need more muscle. I will take care of that. Second, we need to find a hole in his plan, a weakness, something. Third, we use that weakness to bring Tikki back, before he does anything to her."

Luck seemed to be on their side, as they heard a groaning not far away from them. Master Fu turned around, and spotted a man lying there, scrunching up his nose and shivering. After wrapping him up in a blanket, he asked:
" Why is this man here?"

Adrien shrugged and said:
" The only living things here were me Mari, Spotty Bane, his assistant and a Serpent.... warrior..." Adrien trailed off, connecting the dots. He widened his eyes and said:

" Master! The cataclysm! That's the cure!"

Everyone just looked at him like he was high, so he explained:

" In order to stop Marinette, I used cataclsym on a Serpentine soldier. I didn't see what happened to him, but I think that this man is him! I can even prove it!"
He lifted the blanket, and exposed the man's right arm, which had a black bruise where Chat Noir touched him.

Master approached the bruise, and confirmed that Chat Noir did this. He smiled and said:
" So we found a cure. Now, if we find a way to use it more oftenly and on a larger number, we can take out his army, including the Evillustrator, the Bubbler, and Volpina. Yes, I have a perfect plan."

He huddled them up together to tell them the plan, but Marinette suddenly jumped.

" What's wrong?" Alya asked.
" I thought I just felt something cold touch my ankle. It was probably nothing."

But what Marinette didn't know is that something did touch her. Cold eyes stared at them for a few seconds, before slithering into the darkness.

With Spotty Bane

Spotty Bane entered his room, quite satisfied with himself. The Bubbler was sleeping, bubbles coming out of his nose. The Evillustrator was painting a picture of a girl, while Volpina bandaged her arm.

" Oh, my sweet servants! Our threat has officially died. Now we just have to wait for Chat Noir to break into here, filled with rage, and voila! We rule France, and then the world. And of course, I have to crown my queen." He smirked evilishly.

Spotty Bane streched and lied on his pillow, on top of the black candle holder. However, his peace didn't last long.

A 2 meters long black mamba slithered in, and climbed up the candle holder. The snake looked at Spotty Bane as he streched again.

" Salazar, what are you doing here?" Spotty Bane asked.

The snake, called Salazar, started hissing. Nobody but Spotty Bane understood snake language, so it was ok to speak out loud.

Spotty Bane's mood turned from satisfied, to confused, to concerned, and finally, angry.

" What?" Spotty Bane widened his eyes and his jaw dropped. Salazar just nodded, and sensing his master's anger, slithered out of the window.

Spotty Bane turned back to Volpina, Bubbler, the Evillustrator, and Jack, his eyes blood-shot red. His pupil disappeared. Finally, he screamed in a harpy like tone:

" EVILLUSTRATOR! BUBBLER! VOLPINA! GO OUT THERE, FIND MARINETTE, AND KILL. THAT. BABY!!!"

They all jumped through the window, searching for Marinette. Spotty Bane now turned to Jack, and said:
" Bring me the mantis anti-kwami essence. NOW."

Back with the gang

Adrien, Marinette, Alya, and Master Fu prepared to leave the park they were in. After the man woke up, they gave him the blanket for free, and offered a lift. The man declined, saying he lives nearby.

Just as they were nearing the exit, a wall appeared in front of them. Plagg and Trixx growled while all of the others looked confused.

Marinette was suddenly picked up by a giant bubble, and trapped in it.

" Hahah, you thought we would let you go that easy?" The Evillustrator spoke, as he jumped down in front of them, together with the Bubbler, and Volpina.

Alya ran to the Bubbler, screaming:
" Nino!!!!" But was stopped and held by Adrien.

" What do you want?" Master Fu asked.

My turn to talk.

Volpina started screaming, and gripping her head. She got down on her knees. After only a few seconds, she let go of her head, and stood up. Her eyes were replaced by Spotty Bane's, as well as her voice and smile.

Volpina looked at Master Fu, smirked, and said:
" We just want what's best for us. And right now, the best thing for us is Marinette's death, don't you agree?"

This time, Plagg spoke up:
" Leave us alone already! Or I will come and kick your ass!"

Spotty Bane snorted, and replied:
" Don't fool yourself Plagg. Right now, you are nothing but an alley cat compared to me."

Plagg raised his paw, and said:
" Not anymore. I am the key to the cure. With my help, we can turn all of those people to normal. We can bring Tikki back. And most importantly, I can stop you, and finally kill you." Plagg growled at him.

Spotty Bane looked at him with a blank stare, and said:
" I am so disappointed. You care more about some disgusting humans than me? And you think you need to save Tikki? I am disappointed at how low you think of me...."

The next word he said was laced with venom and hatred:

"...son."

Wow, I bet you didn't see that coming ( to all of the people who didn't know this). Once again, sorry, I know it's short, the next chappy will be longer.

Now, for the suprise.
