Hiya there! Sorry I didn't update recently, I was traveling through Central Europe (Slovenia, Austria, Czech Republic(Czechia), Poland). If any of you are from these countries, it was awesome! You have awesome countries!

Next year I will be going to France and Spain, so if anyone is from there, recommend me some sights to see, and leave a heart on this section.

WARNING: THIS CHAPTER IS SO SPECIAL IT ACTUALLY MADE ME HORRIFIED, AND I MADE IT! Also, bloody scenes, violence, and some possibly scarring scenes and PLOT TWISTS! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Marinette was starting to get worried. It has been an hour since Adrien went out for a walk. What could be taking him so long?

Eh, he is an adult. He can take care of himself. Marinette decided to watch some TV, and maybe ask Tikki if she is fit enough to go patroling later. She really does miss their patrols.

She turned on the TV, but nothing. Odd, this TV is an older version, but it didn't show any signs of malfunctioning. She turned it off, and on again. Nothing. It doesn't hurt to try once more, so she turned it on again.

This time, it worked. But it didn't air the usual channels. No, this time there was a snake on the screen, slithering lazily around the screen. Marinette watched the snake like a hawk, her mouth agape. After a minute, the snake stopped, and formed a symbol:

"Oh my God... He took over the media?!" Marinette muttered to herself.

The TV screen flashed in white, before slowly readjusting to reveal Slithering Bane's grinning face. He cleared his throat, and said:

"Citizens of France! My name is Slithering Bane! I am here to welcome the heir of our late star, Serpentina! Everyone, please welcome the boy turned man, Adrien Agreste."

And as if on cue, Adrien walked out, his eyes cold and void of emotion, his body straight and firm, his face calm and stoic. Its as if Adrien turned into his father.

"A-adrien?" Marinette muttered in disbelief. Adrien betrayed them? How? Why? What did she do wrong? Where is Plagg?

"Adrien, from this day on, you shall discard your name, and I shall give you a greater one." Slithering Bane looked at him while saying that. Adrien just slightly nodded in reply. A snake tattoo suddenly moved on his back, the head slithering up to his cheek, smirking at the camera.

Slithering Bane turned back to gaze at the camera, and with a proud smirk proclaimed:
"From this day on, you shall be known as Serpentior, king of Paris! And soon, KING OF FRANCE!"

The serpentine army roared in approval, the harpies danced in the air, Slither's other minions clapped and bowed.

Marinette slid down from the couch, her hand covering her mouth. Her eyes were wide in shock, tears streaming down her face. She didn't even notice Alya embracing her in a hug, whispering soothing words in her ear. Once everything settled she let out a scream of agony, and curled up on the floor in a fetal position.

She cried like that for 10 minutes. Chloe and Master Fu ran into the room as well, with Tikki following them. After she calmed down, she drifted away into slumber. Heart broken, love betrayed.

With Slithering Bane

After the cameras turned off, Slithering Bane went into his room, Adrien and his minions following suit. After they all entered the room, Slither turned to Adrien:
"Let me show you how its done."

He turned to his minions and spoke:
"Volpina, battlefield report."

"Darkblade, his minions, Stormy Weather are still resisting, but we believe they have a few days untill the run out of energy. The Animan is still missing, but we are keeping a close eye on him." Volpina quickly replied.

"Good. Evillustrator, mutant numbers!" Slither turned to the ginger minion.

" Steadily rising, sir. But we are running out of the changing gas. The number is at 10 467 at the moment. We have an extra 657 harpies patrolling the skies."

Slither nodded, and turned to the Bubbler.

" Gabriel Agreste's condition?"

Adrien's eyes widened at that. They have been monitoring his father? But he had to keep a calm expression. For Marinette. For their child. For his friends. For everyone.

"Recovering, dude. He will be out for the next few months. His kwami is stable as well. He will take even longer to recover."

Slither finally turned to Jack, and asked:
"And any outside human forces trying to interrupt us?"

"Don't worry your little ass about anything. I kill any human who comes even close to the city. Besides, that wall you asked for is up. Nobody can enter nor exit the city." Jack said while picking his teeth.

"It wouldn't hurt you to show a little bit more respect to the future king, now would it?" Slither hissed.

Jack pulled out his dagger, and with a threatening look, he said:
"Now listen. I don't need to show respect to anyone if I don't feel like it. Remember the only human in history who out witted you, Slither. I see no problem in doing it again." He looked away, like nothing happened.

Slither hissed at him, and turned to Adrien.
"Serpention, once you rule, rule with an iron fist. Any misbehaviour like this should be punished. This world is a bit too... Primitive. Time to clean it up and make it better." Slither smirked.

Adrien just blinked at him. Slither turned his back to him, and said one more thing:
"Humans are livestock, Serpentior. Worthless good for nothing low-lifes who failed as guardians of the planet. Don't feel empathy for the true monsters of this world."

"But, I am a human as well." Adrien spoke for the first time.

Slithering Bane snorted in reply and said:
" You were born as a human, but you will climb to the top as a demon, and rule as a God." And Slither left through the walls.

With Marinette

Marinette woke up in a bed, but not her own. She was still in Master Fu's home. She must have passed out. Then, all the memories came rushing back, forcing her to lie down again.

The bedroom door soon creaked, as Alya walked in, a small smile on her face. She sat on the bed and said:
"I saw it in the news. I didn't know."

Marinette looked down. Neither did she. Why, why does their love feel so worthless all of a sudden? She thought she knew everything, when in fact she didn't know a thing. She feels stupid.

The door creaked again, but this time Chloe walked in. She stood in front of the bed with a frown. Marinette never looked up to her, so Chloe spat out in anger:

"Ugh, Marinette! Stop being pathetic! Its obvious he betrayed us! He got bored of us and moved on, end of story!"

This did cause a reaction from Marinette.

"A-adrien? N-no, he w-would never d-do that! That i-is not my Adrien!" Marinette yelled in Chloe's face, giant tears streaming down her face.

"Oh, and you don't think this affects me in the slightest?! Godammit Marinette, he is our enemy now! Stop being a pathetic bitch and do something about it! Get him back or whatever!" Chloe yelled back, a lone tear smudging her make-up.

" You are Ladybug, right? So act like Ladybug and stop being a waste!" With these final words, Chloe stormed out of the room.

" Don't listen to that bitch, gurl. She is just throwing a tantrum like always." Alya held Marinette's hand. But Marinette shook her head and said:

"No, she is right."
"What?" Alya opened her mouth so much, her glasses almost fell off.
"I can't just lie here. This city needs their Ladybug." As Marinette proclaimed that, a sliver of determination flashed her eyes.

"If you say so, girl." Alya hesitantly replied.
Marinette nodded, and threw the sheets off of her. She walked up to the living room, only to find Stormy Weather and Draklbade sitting on the couch, their arms crossed over their chests. When she entered the room, they looked up at her, and nodded in greeting.

"Marinette, its time to act now. We can't wait a single day more." Master Fu told her.

"Alright. Let's do this." She sat down near Master Fu.

"But, what about Adrien?" Darkblade asked.

Marinette looked at him, and blinked.

"Adrien had his reasons for what he did. Right now, our goal is Slithering Bane." Marinette said to Master Fu, Stormy Weather, and Drakblade. But, she was still suffering from his betrayal.

But its best to act now, ask questions later in this situation.

"If you say so. So, what's the plan?" Master Fu leaned back.
"How did you know I had a plan?" Marinette asked.
"You had that glint in your eyes." He smiled at her.

Marinette smiled back, and started talking with a confident voice:

" Ok, Stormy Weather, you should keep Jack busy. I doubt you can do much against him but keep him occupied. Darkblade, I know you gathered a huge army already, you fight their army, keep them away from the main battlefield, where me, the real Volpina and Queen Bee will be fighting the Bubbler, the Evillustrator, and.... Serpentior. Volpina controls their army, so Darkblade will take care of her. Understood?" Marinette looked at them all.

Everyone nodded, and stood up.
" We will start at sunset. Untill then you can think of your own little side plans, and we will meet here."

Marinette turned to Tikki, and asked her:
"Can I transform?"
Tikki just nodded and slightly smiled.

"What will you do?" Alya asked.

"I have a message to deliver." Marinette smirked.

With Volpina

Volpina was sitting casually at the rood of the Dupain-Cheng bakery, looking around. She got very little to no action in the last few days, and she desperately needed some.

Boy, was she going to regret those words.

From the park nearby, she could hear the painful roars and grunts of her Serpentine soldiers. Thinking that they got into another fight for food, she rolled her eyes and jumped towards the park, landing on one of the lamposts.

She waited for the dust to settle, to see the victor of the battle. This was one of the very few sources of entertainment she had.

But after the dust settled, Volpina growled. On the pile of beaten up Serpentine soldiers stood none other then Ladybug, smirking up to Volpina.

"Hey fox! Come down here!" Ladybug yelled. Volpina glared at her, and wanted to jump away, when something wrapped around her ankle, pulling her down and slamming her into the ground.

Volpina groaned in pain, and opened her eyes to see Ladybug towering over her, a permanent smirk on her face. Ladybug leaned down, made direct eye contact, and said:

" Tell Slither that LB is back. And LB doesn't like when her kitty is not with her."

She stood back up, unwrapped her yoyo, and started swinging from building to building, without a care in the world.

With Slither

Slither and Adrien were sitting in dead silence, Adrien sitting in a chair, while Slither is perched on his shoulder.

Suddenly, Volpina barged into the room, taking deep breaths and panting. Adrien and Slither just looked at her.

"MASTER! LADYBUG IS BACK! SHE TAKES OUR FORCES DOWN LIKE THEY ARE TODDLERS!" She yelled.

Adrien's heart did a flip in his chest, but he kept a straight expression. He responded with a nod and a question:
"Did she say anything?"

"She said that she is back. And that she wants her kitty back with her." Volpina leaned on the wall, and looked at the two partners, who seemed to have shared opinions through their minds.

" Well, 'kitty' is long gone. But if she wants a challenge, so be it. You are dismissed." Slither ordered around without even looking at her.

Volpina bowed and exited the room.

"Time for a power-up, Serpentior." Slither said, then turned around.

"Ready to begin, Adrien?" Slither looked into his vibrant green eyes.

Adrien was a little surprised when Slither called him by his real name, but he soon gained his composture.

"Yes, I am." Adrien replied, emotionless.

"Good. Follow me." Slither said, and went through the door.

With Marinette

Sunset was here. Its time.

"Is everyone ready? I hope you know that some of us might die tonight." Ladybug looked at everyone over the table, her hands firmly planted on it. Everyone nodded, transformed and ready.

Master Fu opened the windows, and smiled: "I wish you all good luck."

"Ok, everyone, move out!" As soon as Ladybug said that, they moved out. Darkblade went East, while Stormy Weather, Queen Bee, Volpina, and Ladybug headed West.

Master closed the window, and Wayzz asked him:
"Master, what about you?"
"My time of glory has passed, Wayzz. Time to pass the torch onto the young ones."

Wayzz said nothing as Master Fu went back to the box where he held the Miraculouses. He picked up the last Miraculous, the peacock brooch.

"Pass on the torch...." Master Fu trailed off.

(Hi! Its the author chan with a side note: This was all planned before season 2, and I know Duusu will be the kwami of a villain and all, but she does not have a holder in this fanfiction. Ok, bye, enjoy the rest of the story!)

Ladybug and her crew jumped through the streets, Queen Bee flying above them in case any harpies decide to show their faces.

Ladybug saw the former Serpentina mansion, and smiled. They got this in the bag!

Suddenly, Jack jumped in front of them, smiling widely.
"Where do you think you're going?"

Ladybug smiled, and said:
"Forward." As a lightning bolt almost hit Jack. Stormy Weather floated in front of them, and said.

"Hello, Jackie. Boy, are we gonna have fun tonight." She smirked. Jack frowned and started attacking her, ignoring everyone else.

They took the opportunity to speed past them, and head to the mansion.

In the mansion

The snakes suddenly started to get nervous. They slithered around, hissed at random things, and even bit things like chairs and tables.

"Calm down, my beauties. I won't let them touch a single scale on you." Slither cooed them. He turned to Adrien, and said:

" Let's show them how powerful we truly are, king."

Adrien's face was covered in shadows, as well as half of his body.
"Yes, Slithering Bane." Was his simple reply.

A snake known as Salazar slithered its  way to Slither. He hissed, and Slither turned to him. Salazar seemed to whisper something in his ear, and slither away.

"We are under attack. Their Volpina, a blonde woman in a yellow striped suit, and Ladybug." He smiled.

"Her name is Queen Bee. Also known as Chloe Borgueois." Adrien said

Slither narrowed his eyes, and muttered:
" Why is that bitch so hard to kill?"

He shook his head, and yelled:
"EVILLUSTRATOR! BUBBLER! GET HERE, NOW!"

Evillustrator walked through the door, and the Bubbler flew in on a bubble.

"Volpina is out, dealing with Darkblade and his minions. We are taking on the main three. I want no mercy. Let's finish this tonight." Everyone nodded and headed out.

"Slithering Bane, should I transform?"
Adrien asked.
"Not yet. Since they are going to die, we will give them a show no one will forget."

(This is where things get.... Interesting. GET READY FOR SOME MAJOR MINDF**CKS!)

The two sides raced towards each other, determined to win. Before the opposing side was in earshot, Ladybug spoke to Volpina and Queen Bee:
"Bee, you fight the Bubbler. Volpina, the Evillustrator. I will fight Serpention."

"Why?" Volpina asked.

"Trust me with this. I know what I'm doing." Ladybug replied. She knew if Alya fought Nino, she would break. She wouldn't be able to handle it. Chloe on the other hand won't even bat an eyelash if she was to fight him. And as for Adrien.... She has to figure out why he did this. He didn't just wake up one morning and decide to betray her.

Adrien isn't dumb.

Volpina nodded, and went to the left, while Queen Bee went to the right. But Volpina wanted to make sure her best friend is alright.

"Ma- Ladybug, are you sure you can handle this? I mean, he is your...." She trailed off.

" We need to defeat him, and we need to do it quickly." She said with a crack in her voice.

Volpina didn't have time to react as the two sides clashed violently with each other. Queen Bee and the Bubbler started a sword fight, Bee fighting with her staff, and the Bubbler with his bubble sword. (I believe that's how they called it in the show.)

Meanwhile, Volpina didn't waste a single second, and sent her fist flying into the Evillustrator's stomach, knocking the air out of him.

But, Ladybug and Slithering Bane just stood there, in front of each other. Neither moved a muscle, while the two battles ocurred around them.

"I do not wish to be distrubed in our brawl, Ladybug." Slither said seriously.

Ladybug shrugged and said:
"We can relocate if you would like."

Slither nodded, and they both ran from the main battlefield, to the back garden. While running, she was extra careful. She knew what a snake Spotty, or Slither is. He can't be trusted in the slightest.

In the back garden, a cloaked figure waited for them, not budging once. Slithering Bane turned back to Ladybug, a wide smirk gracing his face.

"My dear opponent, please do not think so lowly of me. Snakes do have honour, you know. I had no profit of attacking you on the way here. Its as simple as that."

Ladybug was stunned. Did he just read her mind? She shook her head and got into her fighting stance. Act now, ask later. Act now, ask later.

She ran to him, spinning her yoyo, and eyeing him with a cold look. His smirk never disappeared.

" But you know how they say. A snake is after all, a snake. It can't be trusted."

She ignored his comment and attacked. He barely avoided her yoyo, and even got hit once, but soon recovered. He laughed, and said:

"Oh, and you know what my favourite reason is?" His grin got impossibly wider.

Ladybug panted a bit, but started running to him again, her yoyo spinning at high speeds.

"The Bible said so. Oh, these pathetic primates needed a book to tell them what their beliefs are. Isn't that stupid... Black Widow?"

"What?" Ladybug was baffled at the name, and suddenly, her muscles froze. She stood in place, motionless.

" Tikki, I believe the time has come for you to take a loong nap. Black Widow, spread your web!"

Ladybug heard Tikki screaming in pain inside her head, as the suit started turning black.

"I wanted you to know that I didn't forget, king. Every king needs a queen to rule by his side. And what better queen than a cunning spider to spread their web across the globe." Slither spoke to the cloaked figure.

The figure finally made a move. It removed its cloak to reveal Adrien, or Serpentior, half of his body consumed in thick, dark shadows.

Ladybug was shocked by this scene. What did he do to Adrien?! But, Tikki's cries of agony woke her up, and she screamed:

"TIKKI!!! SPOTS OFF!!!!"

Tikki flew away behind a statue, to hide her open wounds. Marinette gasped for air, trying to remain on her feet.

She looked at Adrien, who had a flat look on his face, which made her heart break. But she pushed it down. She kept it in.

Slither was stunned for a moment, but his smile soon returned:

"Oh well. If she breaks easily, she is not fit to be a queen. I apologise for my mistake, king Serpention." He bowed to Adrien, who made no gesture in return.

"Any last words to your 'lover', Serpention?" Slithering Bane smiled widely at the horrified Marinette.

Adrien turned his head to Marinette, more than half of his body already cloaked in thick, dark purple shadows.
"Marinette..."

He turned his body completely to Marinette, and reached for his pocket.

"Will you..." He stepped forward as she stepped back, in fear.

Slithering Bane smiled, expecting Adrien to kill her on the spot. But, to his shock, and Marinette's surprise, he said:

"...Marry me?"

And he opened the velvet black box.

With Volpina and Queen Bee

Volpina and Queen Bee never even noticed Ladybug and Slithering Bane leaving. The Bubbler and the Evillustrator were very tough opponents, especially for a couple of rookies.

Queen Bee, surprisingly, fought without a word, focusing more on her opponent's movements than small talk. And soon enough, her silence gave her the upper hand.

But Volpina was having a hard time dealing with the Evillustrator. Apart from the stupid walls he constantly put up, he was also quite chatty.

"Wow, weak. My ally Volpina is much more savage and strong. You are child's play!" He laughed.

"Oh, shut that pie hole of yours! Your inflated ego is giving me headaches!" Alya yelled back, frustrated and tired.

"You know that's only making me talk more!" He smiled at her. Pretending to be bored out of his mind, he looked at the neighbouring battle, only to see the Bubbler pinned down by Queen Bee, struggling slightly, but obviously defeated.

" What a weakling, that boyfriend of yours."
"What." Volpina growled. She didn't like the names he was giving Nino.

"He was always the weakest you know. Doing all the dirty work for us. He was more of a bother then a helper. If I was Slithering Bane, I would have killed him on the spot, not turn him into a minion. How can anyone even love him?" He laughed down at her.

Alya won't eat this crap! Oh hell no! You can insult her looks, you can insult her clothes, but she will be damned if she lets you insult her Nino!

In a fit of rage, she grabbed an iron bar that was near her, and ran towards him while he was laughing. She jumped on him while he wasn't looking, and stabbed the iron bar right below his shoulder.

The Evillustrator screamed in pain as blood started to stain the ground below his arm.

" Listen to me, you jackass. You can insult me, my clothes and my hair, BUT DO NOT INSULT MY FIANCEÈ!" She yelled as she pushed the bar further into his arm, hearing his bone crack, and making him scream even more.

"I WILL MAKE SURE YOU PAY FOR THIS! I WILL SKIN YOU ALIVE, YOU DAMNED FOX!" He yelled as he gripped her hair with his other arm, pulling it harshly, making her scream in pain and let go of the bar.

Queen Bee tied up the now unconcious Bubbler, and walked over to Volpina and Evillustrator. She leaned her arm on the bar, making him scream in pain, and let Volpina's hair go. While Volpina was busy rubbing her scalp, Queen Bee looked down at the Evillustrator, and smiled.

"Hey Nathanael, you know what's the worst thing about jerks?"
He didn't reply, he just sent her a look of pure hate.
"Some of them can be quite cute." She said as she pulled the bar to herself. The unpleasant sound of bones cracking, muscles ripping, and skin tearing was heard, before the arm was completely off.

Queen Bee threw the bar away, and crouched down to examin his wound. Meanwhile, the Evillustrator was screaming and crying in agony, and Volpina was running around searching for a cloth. She soon found one, and ran back to stop the bleeding.

Queen Bee took a final look at him, before knocking him out cold.
"Did you really have to do that?"
"Yeah. We won, I don't want them to wake up untill Ladybug doesn't win her fight."
"Speaking of Ladybug, where is she?"

The girls looked around, but saw no one else.
"Great. Now we have to search for her as well.

Back with Marinette

Marinette was shocked. Did he seriously propose right now? In the middle of a freaking war?!

But when he opened the box, it all became clear. Because inside the box, was the black cat Miraculous!

Marinette looked back at Adrien, then back at the ring, then back at Adrien. So this was his plan. She felt so happy and relieved! This wasn't a betrayal, it was just an insanely stupid and dangerous plan! She will kill him after this is over.

"I will." She smiled, but in the heat of the moment, she forgot about a certain snake, floating near Adrien. Slithering Bane flew in between them, grabbed the ring, and threw it away.

Tikki, who fortunately saw this, flew after the ring, which fell into the water.

"You two thought you were so smart?! Well, let me see you now!" He hissed in anger, as the snake on Adrien's back started burning, making him bow down.

"DO IT ADRIEN! OR THE DEAL IS OFF!!!!" Slither yelled at him.

Adrien looked at Marinette, with a look of sadness, and whispered:
"Bane, slither out."

Slithering Bane got sucked into the ring, and Adrien started transforming.  He now had a dark suit on, similar to his  Chat one, but a dark purple colour. Black snakes were littered on the suit as decoration, and one big snake graced the middle of his chest, mouth wide open, long gold fangs showing. His mask was just as Chat's, but dark purple, and it made his eyes look violet. A whip was attached to his hip, and a staff in his hand.

However.... When he transformed, Slithering Bane immediately took over.

"You idiot." He spoke in his voice as snake-like shadows surrounded him. The shadows held Marinette, stoping her from moving away.

" You can't even hope to defeat me. I killed more humans, kwamis, and anti-kwamis than anyone else in history. I specialize in murder, treason, secrets, venom. I am not just another simpleton akuma who can just be purified." He said as he kicked her with his staff, leaving a burning pain on her side.

Marinette yelped in pain, but he didn't even blink. He just took out his whip, and whipped her right arm, making it bleed.

" I have been through it all. The good and the bad. And here you come, another prideful Ladybug who thinks that a few karate kicks will take me down." He growled as he stomped on jer thigh, definetly leaving a bruise. A single tear ran down her face, as she bit her lip.

Slithering Bane smirked, seeing her pathetic form.
"You humans deserve this. You worthless pieces of trash. Destroying everything around you. Animals, plants, families, even yourselves." He hissed in anger and whipped her face, making it bleed. She still kept quiet, tasting  blood in her mouth.

"I will exterminate you all, just like I did with anti-kwamis. I was even so kind to develop a killing method you humans will like." He stepped away, and let one of his snakes bite her, for good measure.

A different snake brought him a box, and he took it. He opened the box, revealing a... lip gloss?

The lip gloss was a black color, sparkly and looking pretty normal. He took the lip gloss, and put it on Adrien's lips, making them black. He walked over to Marinette, and grabbed her face, making her cheeks bleed. She winced in pain, but he just smiled.

"The poison kiss. Kills slowly and painfully. Just like your kind deserves." He looked at her lips, then at her eyes.

"It is a pity though. Out of all the Ladybugs I have met, you certainly have the most beautiful eyes." She blinked back the tears, and looked him in the eyes.

"Maybe... I could gauge them out from your dead corpse, and keep them in a jar." He smiled at his idea.

"Yeah. That's what I will do." He leaned in, releasing her face.

But, Marinette took the opportunity, moved her face to the left in a flash, and slammed her cheek full force against his, knocking him away.

Slither was stunned, and he wasn't controlling the shadows at the moment, so Marinette gathered all of her strength, and ran to the tree line not far from them.

Slithering Bane cursed profanities, rubbing his jaw in anger. He didn't see where she went, but she couldn't have gotten far.

"YOU BITCH! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!!!" He practically roared, smashing a bench in two.

Then he remembered. He is in possesion of a very strong body. A powerhouse. Why use a venom to kill them off, when a giant snake will do just the job.

He got into a stance.

"SERPENTION ULTIMATA!!!" Serpention yelled.

A dark cloud swirled above his head, and devoured him, purple lightning shining through the clouds.

Meanwhile, Marinette was hiding in a tree, scared for her life. She didn't know what to do, where to go. Is this really the end? Is she really going to die, beaten up, bruised and bleeding, leaning against a tree?

She was so focused on her thoughts right now, she didn't even notice Tikki calling her name. Only when Tikki slammed into her face, did she jolt.

"Tikki!" Marinette whisper-yelled. But then, she saw the ring in Tikki's arms, and took it from her. She held the ring carefully, without saying a word.

"Marinette... What now?" Tikki asked.

Marinette thought. Why did Adrien give her his ring? What did he had in mind? Then, it hit her.

"Tikki, I'm going to use both of these Miraculouses at the same time." She lifted the ring, and pointed at her earrings.

Tikki looked at her like she had grown a second head.

"MARINETTE! ARE YOU CRAZY?! THAT'S TOO MUCH POWER TO HANDLE!" Tikki squeaked.

"Tikki, I have to try. I can't let billions of people die just like that."Marinette put the ring on, and Plagg, emerged.

"Plagg, you know what I want to do, right?"
"Yeah, I do." He looked at Tikki, who obviously didn't approve. But they had no other choice. Its all or nothing now.

Marinette limped back to Slithering Bane, together with the two kwamies. Just as she reached him, the cloud lifted to reveal....

....A monster.

The giant dragon-like creature was so massive, its body crushed the mansion like it was a little lego house. (If you are wondering how it looks, there is a picture in the chapter, Mother vs Child. Ahhh good memories.)

Marinette gasped in horror, and the giant Serpent opened its mouth, purple gas escaping from it. The creature looked down at Marinette, streched its wings, and dived its head down, getting ready to swallow her whole.

With her death seconds away from her, Marinette could only scream:

"Plagg, claws out!"
"Tikki, spots on!"

The snake was suddenly knocked back, and fell down on the remains of a mansion. A pillar of black and white light surrounded Marinette, engulfing her.

The snake widened its eyes, and stared at the pillar, not knowing how to react.

The pillar disappeared, leaving Marinette behind. But...

She was different.

She wore a black suit, with four silver chinese dragon twisting around her limbs as decoration. Her hair was shoulder length, half of it white, half of it black. She wasn't wearing any masks, or weapons. But, her eyes were the most terrifying feature. They were pitch black, with white pupils, and a silver ring surrounding the pupils.

Slither lifted himself up, and started flying. He was catious about this. This happened only once, and he had the luck of not being present.

Marinette looked at him, and started speaking in a God like voice:
" I am Lumina, sacred Guardian of the kwamis, the daughter of the kwami Creator. You have comitted horrible crimes, anti-kwami."

Slithering Bane hissed, and replied:
"Leave!!! You are not welcomed here, Lumina!"

"No." She replied.

"Venom drop: deadly weapon number 3: APOCALYPSE CANNON!" Slithering Bane yelled as dark purple circles formed around his mouth, and began to charge up.

Lumina narrowed her eyes, and created a staff. The staff was made of stone, with a chinese dragon made fron stone circling the staff, holding a yin and yang orb in its mouth at the top.

Slithering Bane narrowed his eyes, and fired a giant black and purple ray from his mouth, straight at Lumina. The attack was so strong, every plant around them died, the ground cracked, the water boiled.

Lumina raised her staff, and yelled:

"SACRED DRAGON ATTACK! LET THE LIGHT CONSUME YOU, AND THE DARKNESS DEVOUR YOU!!!"

And shot out a silver beam, much thiner and smaller than Slithering Bane's, but much more powerful.

Not only did it cut his attack in half, it cut him in half as well. The two parts of the giant snake fell down, turning into ash, leaving a wounded Adrien, and a barely breathing Spotty Bane lying in the rubble.

Lumina landed in front of them and looked down at them. Both of them weakly looked up at her, barely even having the strength to breathe.

" Kwami Hunter." She pointed her staff at Spotty Bane.
"Black cat demon." She directed it on Adrien.

" I hereby take away your freedom to live. For the crimes you have comitted against the kwami and the human kind. Perish in the just balance of darkness and light, and say your prayers." Lumina lifted her staff, which started to glow.

But, her execution was cut short.

She was hugged from behind....

Alya put her head on Lumina's shoulder, and whispered:
"Marinette, you are the best friend I ever had. You are my sister, my rock."

"But I can't let you kill Adrien. You would never forgive yourself."

Lumina's eyes turned into Marinette's bluebell ones, and she gasped......

........ As a cold metalic blade of a knife, cut into her stomach.
