" YOU?!"
" Oh, great, laser eyes."

" Oh no..." Marinette said quietly.

Two girls stared at each other, with looks of hate. Marinette and Adrien slowly backed away, while Master Fu still drank his tea, like he couldn't feel the tension in the room.

" What are YOU doing here?" Alya pointed a finger at Chloe.

" I requsted that she comes here, Alya." Master Fu calmly replied.

" What?! Don't you know what she did?!" Alya got pissed, and before Master Fu could silence her, she yelled:

" SHE IS SERPENTINA!"

Those words now echoed in Marinette's head. Adrien stood there, shocked by the fact that Chloe is capable of something like that.

Marinette started connecting the dots.   Chloe is Serpentina. Serpentina fought them. She tried to kill Chat. She poisoned her which means... Serpentina made.....

Marinette's anger finally boiled, and with a quick move, had Chloe pinned to the wall. Mari was holding Chloe by the collar of her shirt with her right hand, her left hand balled up in a fist.

Marinette bit her lip from anger, tears started spilling from her eyes. She was  furious and red in the face.  She raised Chloe up the wall, and yelled:

" ITS YOU! YOU MADE MY EMMA DIE! YOU MADE MY EMMA DIE!" Marinette screamed as she punched the wall near Chloe's head.

" YOU TOOK HER AWAY FROM ME FOR GOOD!!!! YOU KILLED ONE OF MY MOST PRECIOUS THINGS IN THE WORLD! AND YOU TOOK MY FRIEND AS WELL!" And she punched the wall again, this time making a crack in it.

" BECAUSE OF YOU, I DON'T HAVE MY DAUGHTER WITH ME RIGHT NOW! BECAUSE OF YOU, I HAVE NIGHTMARES EVERY NIGHT! BECAUSE OF YOU, MY CITY DOESN'T HAVE LADYBUG TO PROTECT IT!"
Marinette moved Chloe away from the wall, and slammed her back full force.

" Ladybug?!" Alya squeaked. Marinette didn't even listen to Alya, and screamed again:

" I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU! NEVER EVER! I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL!"

But, when Marinette's fist came close to Chloe's face, a black snake with purple spots flashed in her mind, and said:

Oh, please hit her, one skin contact is all I need.

Marinette felt incredible pain in her stomach, and fell back, crippled on the floor. She remained in the fetal position, crying and biting her lips to the point they bled.

Adrien quickly hugged her, while Alya and Chloe looked stunned.

Master Fu put his cup down, and stood up, clearly not amused. He looked at the situation, and said:
" Adrien, Alya, leave."

" But, Master-" Both tried to reason, but Master silenced them, and pointed to the other room.

After they both left, he helped Marinette sit down, and asked her:
" Marinette, look at Chloe. Look at her eyes."
Marinette looked into Chloe's eyes and saw... Fear?

" You see fear, don't you? Or confusion?"

He helped Chloe up too, and continued:
" That's why she wasn't technically there."

Both of them look confused, so he continued:

" Do you remember when Tikki first mentioned Spotty Bane? She probably said he was a disease, didn't she? Well, he obviously isn't a disease, but he has abilities similar to it. He acts like a disease, clinging onto a hoast, and eating away at their life energy. When he is done, he simply passes on. Sometimes he drains the hoast dry, and sometimes he just leaves. There are other times when he leaves his 'Miraculous' to someone weak just for the sake of keeping his form, and goes out hunting kwamis."

" But, how does he keep his hoasts from removing the 'Miraculous'?" Marinette asked.

" You know how Tikki carries good fortune? Well, Spotty Bane carries desire. Once he chooses a hoast, he amplifies their greatest desire, and in Chloe's case that was being on top of the world. That's how he keeps them under control, by blinding them with their own wishes and needs."

Chloe crossed her arms, and said:
" That's all fine, but why am I here? My connection with Spotty Bane is over, I have nothing to do with him anymore." She flicked her pony tail.

" Marinette, call Adrien and Alya back in."

Marinette went to get Adrien and Alya, and when they joined them, Master spoke:
" Alya, Chloe, you probably already figured out that Marinette is Ladybug."

" Wait, she is?" Everyone just looked at her with the ' are you kidding me face' and Master Fu continued:

" You should also know that Chat Noir is Adrien."

Adrien just waved at them, and they both jaw-dropped. But Alya soon yelled:
" Hah! Told you Mari! But nooooo, they couldn't be the same person, no waaaay in the entire universe!"

Marinette silenced her with a glare, and Master Fu finally said the big news:

" To cut to the chase, I'm afraid Ladybug and Chat Noir aren't enough anymore."

" But, Spotty Bane is just a single anti-kwami. He can only have one person under his control, so what's the big deal?" Alya asked.

" So, you don't know?" Master Fu asked them. All four of them shook their heads.

Master Fu sighed, and turned on the TV.

".... Legions of Serpentine people are wandering through the city! They are 3 meters tall, with long tails, and spots all over. They didn't attack anyone, or behaved in a threatening manner, but citizens are advised not to taunt these creatures and stay on high alert. In order to try and explain these mysterious creatures, we have the state biologist, doctor-" Master Fu turned off the TV.

" I have no doubt in my mind that this is Spotty Bane's work. But even I don't know how he did it." Master stroked his beard while thinking.

" I think I know how." Chloe said. Everyone's attention was turned to her, so she explained:

" Spotty Bane has this weird shelf with a bunch of bottles back in my room at the mansion. He talks to the highest one, the only one with a name labeled on it. It, and all the others glow in different colours, depending on the animal drawn on it. There is also a word 'essence' scribbled on the bottles."

" Get on to the point!" Alya groaned. Chloe glared at her and said:

" He sometimes mixes up those weird liquids in a different bottle, and can turn it into gas by heating it. He is such a weirdo. Who would ever want to keep so many bottles, if they aren't parfume?" Chloe looked at her nails.

" But, there are a lot of these creatures around. I doubt one shelf of those essences would be enough." Alya stated.

Adrien thought for a while, and said:
" Master? How many kwamis has he killed?"

" Tens of thousands. He killed entire clans, slaughtered kwamis and holders. He never had any limit."  Master Fu replied.

" Well, I'm thinking about those animal drawings. Could they represent kwamis?"

" If they do..." Alya realised.

" Then we are in big trouble." Adrien filled her in.

Master Fu decided to stop wasting time, and said:
" Chloe, Alya, we have no time to waste. Spotty Bane is planning to completely destroy us, and we have to fight back. If he wants to play war, he will get what he wants. Can we count on you?"

Both Chloe and Alya seemed a bit scared, so Adrien decied to cheer them up:

" Hey Chloe! I'm sure you aren't happy , because he beat you up pretty badly, and he tried to dump you into the river. And knowing you, you will want revenge on that cheating, sneaky bastard. What do you say?"

Chloe smirked: " Let's do it!"

Adrien smiled, and turned to Alya:

" Alya! Spotty Bane hurt your best friend, and now he wants to destroy Ladybug and Chat Noir. I'm sure you want to help, and, after the war, you get to work with Ladybug and Chat Noir!"

Alya fist pumped, and said:
" Hell yeah I do! If that slimey, little creep thinks he can just hurt my idol and bff like that, he has another thing coming!"

Master Fu smiled, and said:
" Thank you, Adrien. Now, time to get your Miraculous."

On the other side of town

Spotty Bane replaced Serpentina's golden throne with a black candle holder, that holds a small pillow. He was lying there right now, watching the Evillustrator paint.

Jack was sitting in a chair next to him, carving a piece of wood with a pocket knife.

Volpina was doing push-ups, just to pass the time.

Spotty Bane was bored out of his mind, when he felt something. One, no, two kwamis emerged.

He grew a wide smirk, and rised from his pillow. The Evillustrator stopped painting, Jack stopped carving, and Volpina stood up. He spoke with a pleased tone in his voice:

" My dear friends, allies, soldiers. It is finally time. Our rivals decided to show their teeth, and brought two new players to the field. From now on, no more games, we play for real."

Jack and Volpina grinned evilishly, while Evillustrator just smirked. Spotty Bane laughed, and said:

" And now that all the important players are on the field, let the games, begin."

Guys, I know I am late with an update, but a very bad thing happened. While at school, my sister fell down the stairs, and got badly injured. She was rushed to the hospital immediately, because she couldn't move.

Fortunaly she didn't break anything, but she is badly bruised. My troubles don't stop there. My parents are both very busy, and they both work from 8 am to 8 pm, sometimes up to 10 pm. And my brother is preparing for college, which takes 80% of his time. That means I have to take care of her, which means the updates might be late in the next few weeks.

But anyways, on to brighter stuff! I decided to give you guys a chance to ask me questions about Spotty Bane. So, here, on this little paragraph, leave any questions you have about Spotty Bane, and I will gladly answer them. And I mean ANYTHING.

Anyways, the next chapter is called:
