timeskip to July 31st

Today was the day they leave the paradise, and go back to their homes. They weren't thrilled, but they weren't sad either. It was great, friendships improved, relationships started, and it was time well spent. Alix is staying on the island, since her family is in Croatia right now, and they will pick her up tommorrow. After everyone said goodbye to her,they boarded a boat, then a plane. Marinette slept near Adrien, her head on his shoulder. Alya and Nino stayed separated during the filght, because Alya wanted to update her blog, tell the news to her parents, ect. Nino was chilling with Kim, Ivan and Nathanael, while the other girls talked about random stuff. However, a nasty suprise is waiting for them at the airport. Chloe commanded Sabrina to keep her updated about her sweet Adrikins. And Sabrina, the loyal servant she was, told Chloe EVERYTHING. The serenade, the proposal, the relationships. And Chloe was fuming. She needed to get rid of Mari-trash for good this time.

When they landed

After they got of the plane, Alya got tense. She felt a presence she hoped she would avoid for as long as possible. So, she decided to warn Marinette:

" Mari, watch it, she is-"
"ADRIKINS!!! I MISSED YOU!" Chloe screamed across the room, jogging towards Adrien and Marinette. Once she saw they were holding hands, she frowned:

" So, it is true."
" What is true?" Marinette hissed through her teeth.
" You really did put a spell on poor Adrikins. Everbody knows he wouldn't be with you if he was sane. You are just a baker's daughter, a lower being. Now if you would please remove your filthy hands from my Adrikins, so you don't infect him with something." She said in a sassy tone, while looking at her nails (claws).

Marinette was just about to say something, when Adrien let go of her hand, pulled his head down, and came closer to Chloe. Tears threatened to spill from Marinette's eyes, as she watched Chloe put her arms around his neck, and smirking at her. Alya and Nino were ready to carry out a death sentence on Adrien, when he spoke:

" You know, you are right." Chloe smirked even wider, getting ready to kiss him.

" I am not sane, but not because of the reasons you think." Chloe looked at him questioningly. He lifted his head up, eyes filled with rage. He took her arms, and angirly removed them. He stepped away, and said, cold-bloddedly like his father would:

" I am not sane without this woman. She is just as important to me as the air that I breathe. She is my lifeline. She is there when I need her. My other half." He went to Marinette, and held her hand. Everyone was shocked, but Chloe wouldn't back down.

" B-but Adrikins, she is rude, poor, clumsy, and freaky, she.."

" And that is why I love her Chloe. She is imperfect, but she is not worthless. She is kind, smart, funny, and caring. Everything you are not. And for those reasons..." To make a dramatic flare, he grabbed Marinette by the waist, leaned in, and kissed her. When they separated, he turned back to Chloe, and said loudly:

" ...She is mine. And I will not tolerate you or anyone else insulting or bothering her anymore. Got it?" He took his and Marinette's luggage and went outside, leaving a shocked Chloe and a smirking Nino and Alya. 

later in the limo

Adrien offered to take Marinette home. Of course she protested against it. But Adrien had none of that. He was still pretty mad at Chloe, and he wasn't up for discussion. The ride back home was silent. They soon arrived in front of the Dupain-Cheng bakery. Adrien turned to Marinette to say goodbye, but suddenly she kissed him and hugged him.

"Thank you for sticking up for me. Don't get so worked up about it, you will get used to Chloe's annoying side, eventually." She whispered.

" So, are you saying Chloe has a side that isn't annoying?" He asked her. She punched him plafully and said:

" Well, look at you, burning someone whe they are not even here. I guess I'll have to punish you soon."

" Can't wait, my princess. Good night."

"Good night."

After Mari passed through the door, she was greeted by her parents, who bear hugged her, crying and telling her how much they missed her. She was happy she was home.

Meanwhile, in Abbot Village

After the news, the kwami didn't speak to each other. Every kwami was in its corner, day and night. The news hit Tikki the worst. The little kwami was weaker every day that passed. She didn't eat, nor sleep. Her color began to fade, and her spots started to shrink. Nuru ( I figured out that the name is written Noroo, but I hope you don't mind) was freaking out. Wayzz would sometimes bring cheese to Plagg, and Plagg would spend hours aimlessly munching on one piece of it, before barely swallowing it. But Tikki wouldn't even look at Nuru when he would come and visit her. One evening, Nuru decided to stay in the shadows to see what Tikki does over the day. Most of the day she just stared at a spot, but when sunset came, she looked through the broken window in her corner. The sky was bluebell blue, which made Tikki cry. Tikki soon wiped her tears, and started humming a strange tune. And, with a very weak and fragile voice, she started whispering:

"... I see a tower built out of my mistakes, and it all comes crashing down... Is there something I can do? Is there something I can do? Is there something I can do, can I make it up to you? Marinette.... I am sorry... I am so so sorry..." She started weeping again... And again... Untill Nuru had enough, and came out of the shadows.

"Tikki?"
" Nuru... What did I do?"
"What do you mean?"
" Why didn't I clarify things to Marinette? Why wasn't I subtle? Why.... Why didn't I try to be her friend? Why?! WHY!!!" Tikki yelled as she beat her head, over and over again.
"Tikki, stop! Please, don't use violence! Everything will be ok, Marinette will be fine." Nuru hugged her.
" No she won't. She will be dead."
" I said you will be the second victim, I never said Marinette will die."
"What?"
"Look, even Wayzz doesn't know this, but she is your holder, so..."
"Please tell me!" Nuru came closer and whispered this:
" The person who is going to die is ●●●●●● (now now kitties, no spoilers! Love you ♡), so Marinette will physically be fine."

"Wow... I mean, should I be happy or sad? Marinette is alive, but still..."
" Tikki, I think I should give my prediction powers to you."
" Why?"
" You will need them more." Nuru said as a purple light surrounded them, and soon,it was over.

"Now, get some sleep, Tikki."
" Ok."

Soon, Tikki was asleep. She was finally resting, but she started hearing voices, voices singing:
"...I'll give you everything I have... I'll teach you everything I know..."
She woke up, but she was calm. She knew she must not panic anymore, because she was very weak. She still felt sad, because nobody deserves this, and especially Marinette. Tikki just turned to the other side, and continued sleeping.
