*timeskip: 1 week*
Marinette and Adrien became so close, they were practically inseperable. They were ALWAYS sitting together, ALWAYS walking together, they were going to the seaside every sunset, to watch the setting sun over the sea. (this is how it looks) Its like they forgot the world.

There was only one problem. One grave misunderstanding. Its such a great one, that Alya would probably try to drown herself. The misunderstanding was between our 'lovers'.  Marinette thought that they were falling in love, something she waited for for 3 years. That is probably what you thought too. But, Adrien, saw this in a different light. He saw this as improving his friendship with Marinette. And his best friend is going to find out in the worst time possible.

* At Nino and Alya's camp*

" Dude, lets get ready for the date."

Nino said as he fixed his bowtie. He asked Alya on their first date abroad, and with the help of the guys (and the girls), he planned out the entire night. They had multiple dates, but he took care that this would be the date she will never forget.

"Are you sure you're okay with Mari and me being there?" Adrien asked, while tying his shoe laces.

"Yeah I'm fine with that. As long as we don't bother you two." Nino wiggled his eyebrows.

" Hahah, why would you bother us? Its not like I'm dating her, we're just going out as friends. This night is all for you two." Adrien snickered.

Nino dropped his bowtie, mouth wide agape. This can't be happening. After the picnic, after that night where he SERENADED her, and the fact this is the first time in a week he sees him without Marinette by his side. Oh, Adrien, how can you be so ignorant?!

"What? Adrien, can I ask you something?"

"Yeah, sure."

" Do you love anyone? Like, not just a crush, but true love?" Nino asked with a very serious face.

" Oh Nino you already know this..."

Nino almost relaxed, thinking that he misunderstood, when Adrien finished:
"...Ladybug is my only and true love."

Nino facepalmed, knowing that Alya is going to kill him, so he quickly ran outside, saying to Adrien:

" I need to call someone, I forgot to do something for the date."

Meanwhile, at Marinette and Adrien's place

"Oh Alya, I'm so happy for you! You have such a caring boyfriend!" Marinette squealed, while braiding Alya's hair.

"Mari, I'm happy for you two, too! You will finally get the man of your dreams on a date! Although, I'm sorry you have to tag along with us."

"That's not a problem, Alya! This night is all about you, so don't worry about anything."

"I really love you, Gurl." Alya said. Marinette giggled, finishing the braid.

"Ok, your dress will not come for another 30 minutes, so stay in that one for now. I'm going to take a shower."

" Ok, Mari." But suddenly, Alya got a message:
We need to talk. Now. Its very important.
Nino.
"Mari, I'm going for a walk, be back in 10 minutes."
"Ok." Mari yelled.

a few minutes later

Alya and Nino met in front of the main bungalow. When Alya saw Nino, he had a look if mixed feelings. A mix of anger, fear, and just simply put, wtf.

" Hey sweetie, what's wrong?" Alya asked while she hugged him. He hugged her back, but he said, in a very serious tone:

"Alya, we need to talk."
"Is everything ok?"
" No, its not."
"Ok, talk."
" First, promise you wont punch me."
"I promise."
" Ok. You know how Marinette and Adrien are slowly falling in love?"
" Yeah?"
" Well, they're not. I mean, Marinette is, but  Adrien, isn't."
"...What?" Alya hissed, balling up a fist. Before she could punch him, she turned around and punched a tree.
" How?!" Alya screamed.
"Well..."
"Talk FASTER." Alya turned into a half demon.
" Adrien is still in love with Ladybug!" Nino said, then backed away a few steps.
"Oh.... Heheh... Then we will just have to fix that...heheh..." Alya snickered creepily
" Babe, are you ok?"
"I'm fine. Let's just forget about that for now, we have our own date to take care of." She suddenly turned back to normal.
"Ok... I'll go get ready then, bye!" Nino said and ran back to his place.
" Bye, sweetie!" Alya skipped back to Mari's place.

Meanwhile, at Abbot Village

Tikki woke up, a ray of sunshine warming her up. She washed her face in a nearby pond, greeted Wayzz and Nuru, and fed Plagg. After her usual routine was done, she went to the front porch of the abandoned old house, and finally, found a response letter. She carried it inside, opened it, and started reading out loud in front of Plagg:

" Dear Tikki and Plagg,
I'm sorry I didn't respond in a while, but I had a lot of stuff to do. I have a date soon, so this will be short. After that campfire serenade, Adrien and Marinette became inseperable. They walk together, eat  together, sleep in the same bungalow, and watch sunsets together."

At that, Tikki stopped, swooned, and then squealed: " Plagg, we did it! WE BROUGHT THEM TOGETHER! I'm so happy!"
She tightly hugged him
"Read...The rest...Before you...choke me..."
"Oh, sorry." Tikki continued:

"However..."

Tikki paused. She wasn't sure she wanted to continue.

"It seems that Marinette had sucessfully fallen in love, while Adrien thinks he is just improving his friendship with Marinette, and is still in love with Ladybug. I don't know how to fix this, can you help me please?

Tikki dropped the letter, and stared wide-eyed at Plagg. Plagg did the same, but soon he started to feel rage:
" That idiot kid! How dumb can he be?! I swear I'm going to go there right now, and kick his *********** ass up! There will be nothing left of him when I'll be finished..."

Plagg continued to scream every curse word he knew, while Tikki turned her back on him, and just stared at the wall for the rest of the day, probably having a breakdown.
