Tikki decided she had enough of solitude. She started hanging out with the other kwami's, even Plagg started to show more life. What Nuru said really got her thinking. She should contact Marinette, she must miss her so much! The feeling is of course, mutual. Tikki took a piece of paper, and started... Drawing??? She started drawing a Ladybug design. It was similar to the first one, but the earrings had dangling decorations, and her arms and legs were now black all the way up to the elbows and knees. She also had longer ribbons, and the yoyo had more spots, but they were smaller. Her mask was bigger, and had decorations at the ends. Then, she started writing the letter.

Dear Marinette,
I have missed you so much! I hope you had a great July, mine was pretty rainy. Here is a design of the new Ladybug. I hope you like it! If you do like it, please make it so I can intergrate it in the Ladybug costume. I thought I'd make the Chat Noir one too, but his kwami is so lazy, its unbearable! I am in England right now, with the other active kwamis. I promise I will bring you a souvenir, if I don't lose it on the way back. Eat a lot of vitamins, go on some dates, and don't be late for school!

She put the design and the letter in the envelope. She was so nervous, she didn't know how Marinette would react. Would she be happy, or suprised? Tikki started massaging her head. Since when was she acting like a stranger to Marinette? She sent the letter, and then went to chase after Plagg who aparently thought capturing frigs and then letting them rampage the house was a good idea.

In Paris

The first rain fell. After the long hot days of summer, some cooling off was welcomed. But Marinette on the other hand didn't like the cold, and was pretty gloomy about it. Add pms to that and you have Adrien's biggest problem of the day.

" Would you like to go for a walk?"
"No way. Its cold and wet outside, and I don't like the cold. Or the wet."
" Well then, would you like to watch some TV?"
" Nah, there is nothing good on. And besides, we watched TV already."
" Oh jeez, is it always like this when your'e near period?"
" Yep, pretty much." Marinette said while wrapped in a blanket on the couch.
Adrien sighed and sat near Marinette, staring at his phone. Marinette saw his bored face and felt sorry, so she said:

" I am up for some chocolate, though."
He lifted his head and smiled.

" Well then, lets go get some chocolate, Princess." He stood up to get his boots on, when she stopped him.

" No need, I think there's still some in the..." Before she could even finish the sentence, Adrien pounced towards the kitchen, opened the cupoard, and threw the chocolate in the bin.

" What chocolate? I didn't see any."
" Well, aren't you a naughty kitty?"
" Where did that come from?" Adrien laughed, but sweatdropped on the inside.
" You just remind me of a certain black kitty." Marinette snickered.
" Well, is that kitty cute and handsome as me?" Adrien said as he wiggled his eyebrows and flexed his arms.
" He is cheeky and annoying, just like you are now. He even looks like you, with green eyes and blonde hair." She stated with a smile.

" But, didn't you say he was a black cat?"
" Yes, but he is blond too."
" You are weird,  Marinette." She punched him in the shoulder.
" Ok ok, lets get dressed little lady." He smiled.
While they got dressed, Marinette couldn't help but think how Adrien and Chat Noir look alike. It's so weird. Nah, they are two worlds apart. Marinette brushed off the thought, and snickered at the silly idea. ( the amount of blindness is just, ugghhhhh)

At the candy shop

Marinette and Adrien entered the shop from the buisy streets of Paris. Marinette's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. This place ia full to the top with sweets. She wanted to lock the place now and never leave. Her mother texted her, saying she got a weird letter. Marinette wondered what was that about, buz decided to think about it when she comes home. Right now she was occupied with trying not to steal all of the chocolate lollipops, jelly beans, snickers, and jars of candy filled with nutella.

"Care to pick, Mari?"
" Can I pick.... EVERYTHING???"
" Now now, you don't want to get diabetes." He kissed her cheek.
" Because if you got any sweeter, your blood would turn into sugar, love." He whispered.
She blushed beet red, but still answered:

" F-fine. L-lets just take the lollipops."
" Ok, see ya at the counter." Adrien smiled widely. Marinette murmured:

" I hate it when he does that."

After they exited the shop, they walked by the Seine, licking their lollipops without a care in the world. It was nice to relax like that sometimes. They chatted like usual, when Marinette's phone ringed.

"Marinette?"
"Hey papa!"
"Come home."
"Why?"

After a long silence, she paled, and whispered:

"Maman..."
" Marinette?" Adrien asked.

She dropped her phone, and she was now on her knees, Adrien hugging her. He didn't know what was wrong, but she looked like she needed a hug.

A single tear glimmered in the sunset.
