Roleplay.

One day, the author of this terribly written story made an amino account; Hamino.. to be exact. She thought it would be great to reach out to other Hamilton listeners, to actually have interactions with real people. Fairly, in the beginning, all seemed well. Her followers liked her artwork she posted, and the author got along well with others on the Hamino app. However, all happy stories have a twist. (Except fluff I guess, but anyways)

One day, (so original I know...what you want me to change it? Okay..fine.)

One OTHER-NOT-IN-RELATION-TO-THE-OTHER-ONE-DAY- day, the author had caught sight of a chat titled, "Roleplay" on the app. They did not really understand roleplay much, haven only done it once, but they shrugged their shoulders and joined anyway. The other members were quite nice as she responded to the small, "Hi))" messages as they appeared in the chat. It was on that fateful afternoon, that the author decided to take the role as Alexander Hamilton's son, Philip Hamilton (pffffft I totally understand guy stuff...maybe).
From that day, the author had a blast with the character, mistakenly making them a bit too much like the author. But anyways-
As time went on the author's group had found a new person to play a character that would challenge the author's character, a character that would challenge Philip Hamilton to get out of his introverted state, a character that would challenge the author to put more deeper, underlining  feeling and humanity with her character. This new character was Theodosia Jr. Burr, and both the author and the newcomer haven decided to do a budding relationship between them. Of course the author didn't think that making a growing, in-love character was that difficult to interpret..
Hoo boy were they wrong
Their character, as it faced more challenges, got more difficult, more so now with age development, relationship development, and especially emotional development.
So now, they are here. They feel kind off set, because they are now gonna read a bunch of fanfics, most likely including romantic Reader inserts. Why you ask? Well, because the author needs more ideas on how their character will be like in their roleplay. So, they read other people's stories to get inspiration and reference on their character. The author believes, this will enhance their skills to act as this character, and as a result, make a better Philip Hamilton.
