"Good luck brother!" Papy calls from the front door, waving me off.

"Thanks Papy!" I wave back and then at  a fast pace, I start making my way to the purple door.

It's not long before I get there, waiting for the stranger behind the voice.

My head pounds and my hands start to shake when I realise how nervous I actually am.

Before I can even calm down, the door begins to open.

And there she was.

A human...?

May I just say, I've never seen anything more prettier.

She instantly runs up to me and gives me a tight hug. My arms automatically wraps round her as I enjoy our embrace. Her arms slowly slither up to my neck.

We part, my arms still around her waist and her arms still round my neck, and I get a good look at her.

She had gleaming E/C eyes with the softest looking H/C hair.

"Hello." She says shyly.

Her voice matches perfectly to her face.

"Hi." I say back, staring into her E/C orbs.

"So you're a skeleton?" She asks.

"And you're a human?"

"I hope that isn't a problem." She says as she looks to the floor.

"Of course not." I lift my hand so that she can look at me.

She looked genuinely happy, and you have no idea how good it felt that I was finally holding her after a year of taking to her behind a closed door.

I pull away from the hug and intertwine my hand with hers.

"I wanna show you around here, come on." I say pulling her, but she doesn't move.

She just looks at my hand.

I pull back quickly, forgetting the fact that I have a gaping hole in my hand.

"I-I'm so sorry-"

"No, no. I like it." She say looking
up at me in admiration. I blush as she picks up my hand and examines it.

She takes my hand in hers meaning that she's ready to go.

"So where do you wanna go first?"

"I'm guessing you like it here then?" I chuckle as I look at the clock. We've been at the library for at least 4 hours now.

She looks up from her book and blushes. "Ha, yeah."

"Don't worry, I'm a bit of a nerd too." I say with a cheeky wink.

"Hey, who said I was a nerd?" She says with a stern face while folding her arms across her chest.

"I-I-"

She cuts me off by laughing.

"You're really cute you know." She says as she composes herself.

I can feel my cheeks go yellow.

"And you blush yellow! Now that's adorable." She adds on when she sees my face.

I scratch my neck with one hand while the other fiddles with the end of my grey turtleneck.

I think my cheeks are brighter than the sun.

She's so into her book, I don't think she would mind if I went out for some fresh air right?

"Y/N, I'm gonna get some, er, fresh air." I say trying to not look suspicious in any way.

"Sure, I'll come with." She says as she puts down her book and heads for the exit.

"No!" I call out, but she's already outside.

I rush after Y/N, finding her leaning against the window of the library.

"Cold, isn't it?" She says as she rubs her arms. She exhales, then watches as her breath turns the cold air white.

"Here." I say as I pull off my leather jacket and hand it too her. It's her turn to blush as she takes it from my hands and puts it on.

I pull out a cigarette, and light it, forgetting that Y/N might not like the idea of it.

"So that's why you smell of vanilla and burnt wood." She whispers causing me to whip my head around in her direction.

She looks intrigued, seeing the smoke come out of my nose and eye sockets.

"Hah, yeah..." I say sheepishly.

"I like that smell. It's comforting." She says casually, looking off into the distance.

My cheeks go yellow again.

I don't understand this feeling, but I like it very much.

"Wanna head over to my place? You can meet Papy." I say trying to change the subject so that I could hopefully stop blushing.

"Yeah! I would love to meet Papyrus!" She exclaims before taking my hand in hers once again.

My mouth is slightly ajar as I stare at our hands.

"Well?" She says, eager to go on forth and explore some more.

"Y-yeah." I say before taking her to my place.

Its a short walk to my house and we get there in no time.

I knock on the front door and within seconds Papy opens it with a wide smile on his face.

"BROTHER! HUMAN! PLEASE DO COME IN!" He ushers us to come in as he opens the door wider.

Y/N seems more comfortable now that the cold isn't seeping through her.

"WOULD YOU LIKE SOME SPAGHETTI?"

"That's beautiful Sans." Y/N whispers in awe when I finish playing the piano piece.

She sits on the edge of my bed, clenching the bedsheets with her hands.

"Just like you." I says back with a smirk.

It happened so fast really.

The way I stood up and sat next to her.

The way my heart was beating so fast.

The way we leaned in.

The way we kissed.

And God, I loved every second of it.
