SHE was walking in the hallway like everyday. Head down, eyes on the floor watching just her steps as she walked, clinging to the strap of her bag with one hand, other hand pushing the free strands of her frizzy hair behind her ear.

And like always half of the people around had thier eyes on her, whispered and laughed about her. She caught some words. "Look at her walking like a scared little rabbit",
"She never even looks at people around, who does she think she is?"

Then HE crossed her path with his guys. "Oh look at that Her Highness of Kingdom ugly is walking by. Make way....make way everybody." And laughed. Those guys laughed too. Thankfully SHE reached the class but HE blocked the entrance with his arm. "Excuse me" SHE said without looking up. "What was that?" He said and his guys laughed. "You're in the way excuse me" SHE said again. "What?" HE pretended not to hear. So SHE just stood still till the teacher came and he moved aside. As soon as HE did SHE rushed to her seat at the very back.

As the lesson began, SHE reminised how it all began.....

It was the first day of high-school. SHE was too nervous as she didn't have any friends. As SHE looked around everyone had thier own friend- circles. SHE felt completely out of place. SHE preferred not to look up as SHE knew all eyes would be on the lonely weird girl and SHE didn't wanted to catch anyone's eyes.

Suddenly SHE got a jerk and fell on her butt. Her books and her bag were all over the place. "Oh I'm sorry I wasn't looking. Are you ok?" SHE heard a guy say. HE sat down to help her with her books and for a second their fingers touched, SHE immediately took her hand back. Her heart raced, guys always made her nervous, SHE never talked to them, especially the handsome ones. Yes HE was handsome, as SHE stole a glance of him from under her lashes.

HE looked at her and was tongue-tied. SHE was beautiful. HE had never seen anyone soo natural and pretty. Her red cheeks HE wanted to touch, HE wanted to look into her eyes but SHE didn't even look at him. HE wanted to hear her voice, but SHE didn't even whispered. "Uh- I'm sorry" HE said again as SHE got up but SHE said nothing, just hugged her books like they were her life and walked past him, leaving him on his knees.

HE spotted her again after a few days. HE waved at her, but SHE just looked away and left. He tried to talk to her in class, but she just looked down and changed her seat. "What a rude chick!"

'Should I talk to him. No I'll say something stupid and he'll think I'm weird. No I can't talk to HIM' she thought.

But everyday after that, instead of trying to talk to her HE showed nasty comments on her, bullying her verbally in the hallway, class whenever HE saw her. So did everyone else.
