Your POV

We were walking around New York as the snow fell around us. It was a week before Christmas and me, the WDW boys, Eben, Tyler, and Caspary decided to go shopping around the city. For some odd reason, I'd been watching a lot of mistletoe pranks and I kinda wanted it to happen to me. You see, I've had the biggest crush on the one and only Zach Herron for about a year. I needed to know if he liked me back and the mistletoe prank would hopefully help.

"Ooh we could go to the mall" Daniel suggested as we passed the big mall. Tyler nodded and we, we being me and Tyler, crossed the street carefully. We walked into the mall and the boys spread out, almost immediately. I looked at the ground as we walked through the mall.

"What's up?" I heard a voice to my right. I looked up and saw Eben. I looked to where I saw Zach entering a toy store.

"Is it Zach?" I nodded. He wrapped his arm around me.

"It'll happen soon" you see, Eben was the only one who knew about my crush on Zach. He's like my older brother and I felt like I could tell him anything.

"You don't know that" I whispered. I looked down as we continued walking. I didn't know where we were going, but when Eben had stopped and took his arm off of me, I looked up and came face to face with Zach. My heart started beating faster and I tried to steady my breathing without alarming Zach.

"Hey" he smiled.

"Hi" I returned with a fake smile.

"You wanna hang out with me?" He asked causing me to nod. We walked around the toy store, him saying funny things and making jokes, trying to make me laugh. We walked out of the store and to the food court since we got hungry. We ordered food and sat down at a table. We waited for our names to be called when I saw something that I'd hoped for. There was a guy, with a stick and attached to the stick was a mistletoe. I tried to make no sudden facial expressions, as to not make Zach suspicious. The guy walked right up behind Zach and held the mistletoe above us. Zach hadn't noticed as he was looking down.

"Zach" I said causing him to look up. I pointed at the mistletoe and laughed. He looked up and smiled.

"What the heck, when did that get there?" He asked. He looked at me and I prepared for the rejection. He leaned in and carefully placed a kiss to my cheek. I blushed a deep shape of red and looked up at the guy holding the mistletoe. He gave me a thumbs up and walked away. I smiled and looked at Zach, then to the table.

"You know you didn't have to kiss me" I looked up at him.

"What are you talking about?" He asked. My heart stung a little when he said that.

"When you're under the mistletoe with someone you don't like, you're not forced to kiss them" I told him, looking at the table.

"Who says I don't like you?" I looked up at him, confused. He just laughed.

"I think you're just as oblivious as I am" I still looked at him confused. He smiled and leaned in, pressing a kiss to my lips. He pulled back before I could react. I let my mouth hang open in surprise. He chuckled and stood up as our names were called. He came back with our food and I haven't moved. He reached over and closed my mouth.

"You're gonna catch flies, love, if you don't close your mouth" he smiled and handed me my food.

"Thank you" I spoke.

"No problem" he said looking up at me. I smiled and thanked God for the Christmas miracle.
