Once upon a time..
I used to chase around
And laugh and smile..

I used to giggle
At every silly thing even though
I didn't understand them at all..

But then one day..
A storm, a storm of reality
Hit me hard and took away..

The silly, innocent girl
Who didn't know much
And was so gullible..

She faced the hard, cruel
World, that she was oblivious
To, without a shield to duel..

Trapped in the transparent walls
She built around herself..
She envied the little girls playing with dolls..

A feeling of claustrophobia
Creeped under her skin..
She changed from a little dear..

TO A WOMAN SHE HAD NEVER BEEN...
