Okay last chapter! Here we go!

"I killed your family"

"What?"

"You heard me.~"

I couldn't believe it.

All this pain

All this suffering.

All this pretending.

Was caused by him?

"Why? What did my family ever do to you!?"

All he did was smirk. He looked like he was having fun.

"ANSWER ME!!"

"Nothing really but I must say it was fun to watch them all burn.~"

I felt so much rage. I wanted to punch him so bad but... he was taller then me. Way taller.

"YOU BASTARD! YOUR GON-!"

"Shhhh your gonna wake everyone up if you keep yelling like that.~"

The Man put his hand over my mouth before I could finish.

" You know you've grown. The last time I saw you, you were just a sq-OW!"

I bit his hand before he could finish. I gotta get help. Fast.

" HEY SOMEONE HELP!"

" OI HUSH!"

" NO!"

The Man then took out a knife. I would run but my leg and other injuries would slow me down.

"Listen here brat, your going to come with me nice and quiet now got it?!"

I didn't know what to do. Should I go or should I try to fight back? Oh who am I kidding I can't fight in the state I'm in. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna make it easy for him to get me quiet.

" Hello anybody here?" I hear a sudden voice call out.

"Shit!"

The Man runs off somewhere but not before saying he'll be back. I hope he doesn't come back.

"Hey kid what are you doing here?"

I turn around to see a security guard. Thank God.

"There was a man here and he tried to kill me!" I told him.

(A/N I know that's cliché but just go with it)

"Are you sure kid? I didn't see or hear anyone else." he said. "I'm serious! There was a man here, he ran down that hallway, we're not safe here!" I tried to tell him. "You were probably just imagining that there was someone here but I'll check just in case. He walked down leaving me alone.

A few minutes went by but the security guard never came back.
" Hello, Mr. Security Guard?" nothing.

I called out again, still no answer. Should I go look for him? "Um... I'm coming down okay?" I called out then started to walk.

Everything was quiet but not to quiet. For I could hear the vents and the beeping of monitors from the other rooms. I continued to walk until I saw a bright light ahead. I stepped a little closer until I got a clear view of it.

It was the guard's flashlight along with his name tag. "Kyle" it said.

I started to panic. What if the man took him?! What if I'm next?! Or is he after everyone here?! I gotta warn them!

*The Man's Pov* (I'm just gonna call him the man)

I got rid of that pesky guard. All I had to do was stab him a few times and get rid of the body, after getting rid of his name tag and flashlight of course.

(I'm not good at writing murder scenes ok?)

Now then, let's get to the fun part shall we?

I headed towards the main part of the building with a knife in hand along with some oil. I'm pretty sure you guessed it so say it with me now!~

I'm gonna burn this place along with everyone in it.

I'll finally finish what I started.

So let's get started.~

*No one Pov *

The Man arrived at engine room and started spilling oil all over the place. "Soon this place will be nothing but ash." The Man thought. He covered the whole room after six minutes of pouring.

He took one last look around the room and hall then back at the floor. The Man took out a lighter, backed up a bit, then lit it.

"Let the show begin."

He dropped it.

~Elsewhere

Valt was wandering the halls looking for some signs that The Man was near. He didn't find anything. So far.

"Where did he go?" he muttered to himself. Also before he left he called the police and alerted the hospital.

They started to take the patients out and they were going to take Valt but he disappeared.

Back to Valt, he continued to walk until he smelled something odd.
" What's that smell?" he said to himself. It was getting stronger with each passing second.

"It smells.. familiar."

Valt took one last sniff before he froze.

Smoke. From fire.

"No. No it can't be. Here?" Valt thought. All those memories of his families death came once again."No. No. Not again!" Valt started to panic and his breath quickened. "What do I do? WHAT DO I DO?!" he thought over and over again.

"Wait calm down Valt. Now is not the time to panic, you gotta get out of here along with the others." he muttered to calm himself. Valt turned around and started heading down the hall he came down.

There was just ONE problem though.

The Man was watching.

He watched Valt go down the hallway and began to follow him.

~Meanwhile

" Guys there's a fire at the hospital Valt's at!" Shu yelled from across the room. The other bladers immediately stopped what they were doing and looked at Shu with shock.

"You can't be serious can you?" Rantaro asked still wondering if this was a prank. Unfortunately, Shu wasn't the type to joke about something so serious.

"I am! It's on the news!" Shu responded. They all ran to the living room and watched the news.

"This just in, the town hospital has caught on fire at 10:30! Firemen are trying to put it out but the fire is spreading fast." the new reporter announced.

"See I told you!" Shu said. "Well what are we standing around for? Let's go!" Daigo exclaimed and headed for the door. The others followed quickly behind.

~Back with Valt

*Valt Pov*

"Now is not the time to panic." I kept repeating the same sentence in my head to calm myself down. I needed to get out of here fast. The only problem is my broken leg and arm. I could barely walk but I need to keep going.

C'mon move faster!

You have to go faster!

" Damn. How long is this hallway?" I muttered to myself. This hallway seemed to go on forever. Just when I thought about turning around, I saw a flash of red. I took a closer look and saw a sign.

"E X I T"

"Finally!"

I made my way towards the door. Finally I could get out of here! I don't have to worry about him anymore!

"And where do you think your going?"

I stopped walking.

No.

Not him!

Why now?! I was so close!

"Hahahahahaha! Did you really think you could escape again?! No. Not this time! " he glared at me.

"Hic-" I tried to yell for help but my throat closed up! What should I do?!

"Hey now let's play a game! It's called Hide and Seek! Sounds fun right? Of course you know the rules right?" he said excited.

I didn't answer.

"Right?!" he shouted.

"Y-yes I know!" I stuttered out nervous. Can you blame me?

"Okay good! I'll be it and I'll give five minutes to hide all right?"

"But m-my leg and arm! And the fire! We can't play now!" this guy really is crazy!

"I DON'T CARE IF THE BUILDINGS COMING DOWN OR NOT, WE ARE PLAYING THIS GAME RIGHT NOW!!"

"......."

"That's what I thought. Now go hide."

And with that I got up as quickly as I could and went to hide. I just want this nightmare to be over.

I found a good hiding spot near a operation room. Yes an operation room, it still had knives and tools so I could defend myself.

I think five minutes have passed because I could hear heavy footsteps coming my way.

"Please don't find me! Please don't find me!"

Another five minutes pass by and nothing happened so far. Did he leave?

I get up slowly, with one of the operation knives to protect myself, and looked through the door window.

There was no one there but smoke from the fire.

I quickly opened the door and made a run for it.

"Maybe he left."

"Found you.~"

I felt a sharp pain in my leg and fell.

"You didn't think you would get away that easily did you? DID YOU?!"

"AAAAARRRRRAAGGHHHHHHHH!" I took the knife and stabbed him in the leg.

He stumbled back dropping his knife and caring to his wound. I took the chance to escape.

"" OI WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!"

I felt heavy weight on my back and fell down once again. I looked up to see the man hovering over me with a crazy look on his face.

He started muttering something I could barely hear over and over again.

"Are you proud of me Dad? Are you proud of me Dad?"

I could smell smoke coming from down the hall.

I had to hurry.

"Get off me!" I screamed while hitting him.

He ignored me and raised the knife.

"Be proud of me Dad."

I waited for the impact but I heard a crack in the ceiling. A big piece of cement fell down and landed hard on the man's head.

He was still for a moment then collapsed. The floor underneath him broke away and he fell in. I sat there shocked about what just happened.

"HEY IS ANYBODY IN HERE"

I hear a voice call out and I saw a figure in the smoke.

It was a fireman.

"Hey kid your gonna be fine now alright?"

He treated my wounds, picked me up, placed me on his back, and left. My eyes felt heavy because of all the mess so I decided to take a quick nap.

I'm still weak.

I haven't changed at all.

-Outside the hospital

"VALT!" multiple voices called out. They arrived right after the fire was put out.

"Oh your looking for Valt Aoi? He's over here in this ambulance." a nurse called out to the group.

Shu and the others raced over to where Valt was to see how well he is.

"Valt!"

The blue-haired male turned his head slightly at the mention of his name. Shu ran to his best friend "Valt are you ok?!".

"I'm still weak."

"What?"

"I'm still weak! I haven't changed!"

Tears started pouring out of his eyes.

"I'm still weak....."

"I'm still here. Your still hiding.~"

Originally I was gonna post this on Halloween but I fell asleep while writing.

But now this story is finally finished!
