Here goes another chapter. Hope you enjoy it and will vote and comment. Before anyone says anything I do know that these chapters have been a lot shorter than my normal but I am trying to change the chapter with the scene.

CHAPTER NINE PRANK

PJ'S POV

The guys are in the game room playing some video game when I walk in. Tom and Tad are seeing who can kill the other one. I never got into them that much because I have never been beaten. Truth is the guys that developed the game they were playing was part of my pack back home. He took the games from either from situations we either train with or have had to face in the field. My pack is the best fighting pack around and our business is search and rescue. When an alpha needs new fighters or tracker they send them to us because we are the best.

"Hey Tina! How are you feeling?" I ask her.

"Much better thank you. Girl you are looking fine. Your not here to catch a mate are you?" She ask.

"Hahahaha you know I already have a mate." I respond and see every head in the room turn my way. Tina knows my story and is always joking with me about it, but about that time every head in the room turns toward me.

"YOU DO?" They ask in unison.

"Yep and I just got through talking to him. He said he will be here tomorrow." I say.

"Really so he is finally going to come and get you." Tina says with a little smirk on her face.

TINA'S POV

CALM DOWN GUYS AND LISTEN. I link to Tom, Tad and Mark.

"Yep that is what he told me." She says with the biggest smile on her face.

"Did he finally tell you who he is?" I ask her.

"Naw I think he wants it to be a surprise. He is apart of this pack though." PJ says.

"PJ I don't understand." Tad says and Tom and Mark shaking their heads like they agree.

"Well on the day I was born he marked me and we have had a connection ever since." She starts.

"What do you mean he marked you on the day you were born?" Uncle Mark yells.

"Calm down. I found out about it when I was ten. I woke up feeling all funny and ran to Mom. She told me that on the day I was born she was in the nursery with James and I when he came in. They talked and he asked her why he felt so drawn to me. She told him it was something in our blood and that if I was his and he kissed me behind the ear it would put a claiming mark on both of us. It has something to do with the royal bloodline. So she said she let him rock me to sleep and as he was rocking me he kissed me behind the ear. He always knows when I need him. The day Mom and Dad were killed he was here for me" She says pointing to brain. "I know he wasn't their physically but it sure felt like it. He wanted to come get me but after we talked about it we decided to wait. I couldn't leave James nor Tina at that time. I might have survived because of him but I don't think James would have and Tina was just as big a wreck. Truth is he gave me the strength to pull all of us through those tough times."

"So let me get this straight. Your mother, my sister , knew about this and never told me." Mark said.

"I guess." PJ said.

"You said both of you bare this mark. What does it look like?" Tom said.

"Well mother told me it was a pair of lips with our initials in it but because most of it is in the hairline..."

I walk over and pull her hair back and Mark and the boys start laughing after looking at it.

"You said you talked with him and he has seen you?" Tad says.

"I talked with him just before coming here. He said that at first he didn't realize who I was because of the masking and the fact that he hasn't seen me in years but yes he knows me and told me a way that I would know him." PJ says.

"So you don't know who he is?" Tom said.

"No do you?" PJ ask so innocently.

"We know him and he never said a word." Tom says.

"But that does explain a whole lot." Tad said.

"Like what?" PJ says.

"Like why he never paid any special attention to girls and all of them wanted him. Do you remember our 16th birthday..." Tad says and we hear Mark linking THAT WILL BE ENOUGH.

"Ugh yeah he was at the party and all the girls were trying to hit on him too but he just grabbed a beer and went outside." Tom says.

"I remember his 16th birthday as well as his 18th. He said they were having a big party at the pack house but he went into the garden where no one could find him and we talked." PJ says kind of dream like.

"So that is where he went." Tad says. "I had this big prank planned and he never came back in."

"Okay guys lets get this prank under way so it works out just right." PJ says.

Tom and Tad look at each other real funny and say "We changed our minds. We don't think its a good idea."

"I thought you said he needed to lighten up and a good prank was the best way to do that." PJ said.

"Yes well that was before we realized who your mate is." Tad said.

"He said I could do it." PJ came back with.

"Look PJ. I have a question for you. What happens when you rub the mark in a caressing manner." Tad ask.

"Well sometimes I hear a groan or growl across the link. But most of the time I can tell he rubs it back and HmmmmIfeelpleasure." She says quickly and quietly.

"Repeat that last part, Naw don't I know what you said." I say trying to embarrass her more.

"Hey Mom how are we sitting tonight?" Tom ask.

"What do you mean?" Mom says as she comes in the room.

"Where will PJ be sitting?" I ask. I can see what is going on in both Tad and Tom's heads.

"Why don't you let PJ sit between Tad and Terrence?" I say.

"That is find but I would have thought you would want her next to you?" Lauri says.

"I would rather sit across from her so I can see her as we talk." I tell everyone.

SINCE THE GUYS DON'T WANT YOU TO PRANK TERRENCE TONIGHT WHY DON'T YOU TEASE YOUR MATE A LITTLE I link to PJ.

HOW? Comes the reply.

WELL YOU SAID THAT IF YOU GENTLY RUB THE PLACE BEHIND YOUR EAR YOU HEAR A GROAN OR GROWL. YOU KNOW HE TOLD YOU HE WOULD SEE YOU TOMORROW BUT IF HE IS HERE AND WAITING ... YOU COULD REACH UP AND RUB IT EVERY FEW MINUTES...DON'T YOU THINK HE DESERVE A LITTLE TEASING. I link to her as I see a big smile come across her face.

"Okay what did the two of you just plan?" Tad says seeing her smile and my smirk.

"Just a little innocent fun." I smile back and say. "You'll see."

TINA WHAT HAVE YOU GOT UP YOUR SLEEVE. Tom links back to me.

UMMM I TOLD PJ TO RUB HER MARK EVERY FEW MINUTES WHILE WE WERE AT THE TABLE. I tell my mate.

Tom burst out laughing.

"What is so funny?" PJ ask.

"Private joke." I tell everyone just about the time Terrence comes down the stairs.

"Dinner will be ready in about ten minutes." Lauri says.

"Good. Terrence I need you and PJ to come to my office so I can get a retinal scan from both of you. Its to program Princess' security system." Mark tell them.

I see PJ rubbing her mark an the way out of the room and then I see a little hitch in Terrence's step. Yes dinner should be fun.

"Okay Tina what did you tell her?" Tad asks as soon as they are gone.

"Oh I just told her since y'all wouldn't let her prank Terrence and since he mate hasn't declared himself she could tease him some while we are at the table." I say rubbing the back of my ear and rolling my eyes.

"You just took the prank of the year award from me and I give it too you oh so graciously." Tad says with a mock bow and laughing.

"Oh and remind me to never let my mate around you until we are fully mated." He continues. " How long do you think he will last?"

Just a little while later we are sitting at the table and I see Terrence squirming.

"Terrence is something wrong?" Tom ask him with a smirk.

Looking over a PJ she is playing with her food as she twirls her hair and rubs behind her ear.

"PJ what are you thinking about?" Tad supplies.

"Oh you know. What we were talking about earlier?" She says again in a dream like state.

Mark and Lauri kept trying to move the conversation along but every once in a while we would see PJ reach up and rub behind her ear then we would see Terrence adjust himself. This was just getting too funny.

"Terrence why are you so quiet tonight?" PJ ask innocently.

"Because I seem to be the butt of a joke and I'm not a little uncomfortable right now." He says very sternly.

"We decided not to prank you" PJ says just as sternly.

"Well PJ someone did and apparently they did you too."

Then he stands up and he has the biggest boner I've ever seen. He leans over and kisses PJ behind the ear and whispers "Princess" as he picks her up and carries her out the door bridal style.
