A/N--warning, this is the longest chapter you will probably ever read in your life. I went too much with this chapter so you do not need to read this in one sitting. But you can if u wish. Also, this took about two days to do, you need to remember that info. :)

Jack took my hand like there was no tomorrow. He was surprisingly a little cold, but I needed it because of how hot it is here. His hands were soft, and pale. He squeezed my hand a little bit like he knew that I was going to move my hand away from him. I blushed and I think he did also.

"Cmon, I think I see the Cheerios." He pulls me almost like I did before. I, too, tripped and I smiled a little.

'Maybe that's why he took my hand... it did take him about 5 seconds to start moving though.' I think to myself.
He was showing me some mixed emotions. I will once see him talking to me like a friend would, then the next I'll see him checking me out and holding hands with me like we're in a relationship. Maybe instead of friend, it's best friend? Whatever it was.. I didn't mind.

He stops moving to a little looking place that wasn't a building. It looked like one of those hot dog little cart things except it's for Cheerios, not hot dogs. He was still holding my hand but then he lets go once when he realizes he was holding my hand for awhile.

"S-Sorry." He rubbed the back of his neck out of embarrassment.

"It's okay, don't worry." I, surprisingly, didn't stutter.
But I was so close to that I could feel a lump in my throat...

~rewind when they left Mark and Jocilyn~

Y/N took my arm that was close to my hand and started taking me somewhere. She probably didn't mean to, but I couldn't help to blush. I don't know if she noticed how close it was, but I tripped when she pulled me cause 1. I wasn't excepting it, 2. Me being too still to move from her hand almost touching mine. It was even tempting to take her hand and just hold it. It looked so inviting and warm. And my hands were just so pale and chilly.

Once when she stopped moving her hand was still attached to my arm. But it let loose. Not too loose that her hand lets go, but loose enough for her hand to slide down. She was probably concentrated on where the Cheerios were, that she sort of let's go. Our hands touch and I grabbed on to hers.

I might have squeezed tightly on her hand cause I didn't want her to let go.

'No, no, no I ruined everything didn't I?!?' I screamed inside my head but tried to think of something quick to do besides stare.

"Cmon, I think I see the Cheerios." I pull her with our hands wrapped around each other as our arms are insigne.

From the corner of my eye, I see her trip like what I did when she did the same to me. Maybe for the same reasons...?

(I just got out early from school and I was in reading class. The teacher, Mrs. McLaughlin, <I know, what a coincidence. Sean McLoughlin and Mrs McLaughlin..> was teaching us about writing ok SHE TALKED ABOUT COMMAS AND I LOVE COMMAS ok anyway BYE NOW)

We both started walking. I saw some people stare at me. Us. But i think most of them were fan girls of mine that are 'disgusted' of me holding someone else's hand.

   'Probably wishing that it was them holding my hand.' I chuckle softly.
But because of everyone around us we're talking over one another, you couldn't even hear. Even I barely heard it myself.

I stopped moving once when my nose lead me to the smell of Cheerios. My mouth started to water, thinking of the taste of Cheerios. I was still holding Y/N's hand and I didn't mean to hold it on for that long. I let go of her warm hands and felt heat climb up my cheeks.

"S-Sorry.." I rub the back of my neck from embarrassment.

"It's okay, don't worry." She says, like this happens to her all the time.
I look over to my left and saw the cheerio area thing. I look at Y/N and she just smiles.

"Let's try to look for Mark and Joci, they're probably wondering where we are about now." I nod at Y/N and look left and right.

I saw them walking together. Moving their lips, talking. I can't read lips well, so I can't tell what they're saying.

We quickly get all of our cheerios before they were out of my sight. The oreos were only $1 which was good.
After we got the cheerios we needed, I looked to see them still walking, I bet they were just walking in circles or something.

I jog to them and Y/N is first confused, "where are you going?" Y/N catches up with me.
I heard a 'ohhh' of realization. She must have spotted Mark and Jocilyn.
I poke at Marks shoulder to get his attention. He turns around quickly and has his hands up like he was ready to karate chop me.

"Dude!" I protect my face before he can hit me.

"Oh, sorry," he puts his hands down and Jocilyn and Y/N giggles.

"We got ya freakin' Cheerios!" I toss him one and he bounces it around, struggling to catch it, but he finally catches it before it can hit the dirty concrete.

"You don't have to be scared of me anymore I know who you are."

"..stalker" I laugh, Mark rolls his eyes and I stop my acting.

"Here Jocilyn, take yours." Y/N hands Joci her cheerio normally.
She takes it and immediately takes a bite out of it.

"It's hotter then I expected." Y/N nods.

"Yea, its hot out here." Joci laughs and Y/N gives a confused look.

"No, I mean by the Cheerio being warmer than expected," She laughs and Y/N gets red from embarrassment.

I felt a hand pat my back and I looked at who it was, it was Mark.

"What was that for exactly?" I ask, he stands next to me with his hand still on my back.

"For three reasons. One," he moved me further away from them, and now we were about 10 feet away from them. "I wanted your attention. Two..."
I look at Y/N and Joci but then I felt Marks hand slap me.

"OWW!" I hold my hand on the cheek that he slapped me with. I saw Y/N and Jocilyn look at our direction to see what was that all about.

"WHAT WAS THAT-"

"STAHP STARRING AT THE GIRLS AND LOOK AT ME WHILE IM TALKING!" Mark interrupted.
My face gets super red. Not from him slapping my cheek that was already red from his hand mark, but because of Marks comment. I heard giggles from them both which made me more red.
'Why Mark, why.' I thought, I look at him before they can look at my red face.

"I knew that would get your attention." Mark whisper yells.
I felt a little angry at Mark but I couldn't fight with him.

I roll my eyes while he keeps on going, "Two, I have an idea. And three, We can't let them get away." I give him a confused look.

"Let them get away... who's them? And why can't 'them' get away?" Mark shakes his head no like I should know this.

"We can't let Y/N and Jocilyn get away." He quiet as a mouse whisper.

"WAHAHAAATTT?!?" I ask, it was to loud for me to hear anything from Mark.

"You know what I said!" I shake my head no at Mark.

"No I actually didn't it's to loud!" Mark rolls his eyes and says it a little louder.

"Y/N and Jocilyn! We can't them get away."

"Oohhhh- wait why." Mark mentally face palms.

"What I mean by 'get away' is to not be in the friend zone for too long. If we do then they will be able to get different guys."
I shake my head in all directions and give a wired out face.
Why was he talking about this?? And why now??

"I know you like Y/N." I was surprised that aMark said this, I give a nervous laugh seeing that Mark knows.
I never told him any sooner because I didn't want him to tell her anything stupid or something. I didn't want him to tell her or give hints by that matter. Was it that obvious?

I look left to right to see if anyone was watching, "Is it that obvious?" Mark shakes his head yes but then slowly stops. Then started giving me a hesitation look.

"Well, when anything happens that's weird- like when you guys get really close to each other by accident or something- you get all blushy. But I think you would blush anyways if you even didn't like her so, you might be good." I give a sigh of relief. I didn't like like her like...

SENPAI NOTICE ME I WILL KILL ANY BOI WHO TALKS TO YOU

No. I just think it's a little crush, nothing too much... but she is cute.

"You get really red when she just says 'I like your hair today' so um, you might want to work on that." Mark gives me a 'whaaaaaaaaaaaatt?' Expression. I nod and he blushes.

"See!" I point to Mark which makes Mark slap my hand down before the girls can notice.

"That's not the point! But, I just wanted to say.." I just nod.

I was walking to Y/N and Joci which they were about 11 feet away now, cause I thought Mark was done talking. But then someone, I think Mark, pulled on my shirt collar-which made me gag a little-and got pulled back. I almost fell but with all my effort, I keep standing.

"WHAT THE-"

"I'm not done!" He almost yells, I nod slowly, a little scared of Mark cause of his voice tone, and fix my shirt.

"Anyways," I finish fixing my shirt, "I have an idea."

"Please don't make it anything stupid." Mark laughs a little.

"No, it's not, I just think that we should both have alone time with them both. I go with Jocilyn and you go with Y/N. We would separate and, hopefully, something good will happen..?!" I just look at Mark at his idea.
Was this a good idea? Or is this going to be disaster? Either way, there's only one way to find out...

"Fine, I guess.. I'm in."

"Yay! Now let's ask if they're up for it too- just don't say anything about us liking them or what not."

"I know, I know, Mark. I'm not dumb." Mark nods knowingly.

We both walk up the the girls and they're attention goes to us.

"What was that meeting all about..?" Y/N asks. I look at Mark for him to start, but he looks at me for me to start.

"Well-" We both say.
We look at each other to see who was gonna start. Apparently, Mark was.

"Well nothing really. I just thought of the idea toooo....." Mark looks at me to tell them. I sighed, knowing Mark would put me in the worst part.

"The idea to ask you guys if you would like to talk, like Mark goes with Joci and I go with Y/N. Don't ask me why, Mark told me about this." Mark nods of agreement.

They both look at each other at the same time to see if they should. They both give a look that I couldn't tell if it was a yes or no. Girls have they're own languages..

"Yea sure! I'd like to keep on talking with you one on one!" Y/N accepts.
I give out a relief sigh that I was holding in, because I didn't know what they would say.

"Okay, lets go." Mark, surprisingly, puts out his arm so then Joci can link her arms with his.
Joci looks at his arm for a moment then she puts her arm next to his and starts walking. I can hear a Joci and Mark talk while they were walking away.

"I WANNA SEE THE LLAMAS FIRST!!" Joci laughs, I can just see Marks smile.

"It might spit on you, or is that what camels do?" Mark says, which makes them both laugh a little.
I can hear they're laugh faint from all the noise.

It was just me and Y/N, in silence.

"I WANNA SEE (favorite wild animal)!" Y/N says randomly.

"Okay sheesh, don't yell in my ear!!" I say, she puts her hand on her chest like she was offended.

"Says you!" We both laugh and started looking for the animal she picked.

"Um, do we have a map or something cause I don't wanna be walking all day." Y/N says after a few small talks we had.

"Um.. no- oh! I think I see it!"

"WHERE!!" Y/N says, looking everywhere.

"Made you look." She punches my shoulder, for the 100,000,000 time.

"You really need to stop punching my shoulder. At least punch the shoulder you don't punch often." Y/N laughs and agrees.

We finally found (Favorite wild animal) and looked at other animals. We spotted Mark and Joci some times but either they waved or never noticed us. They're wasn't any mini games like in a carnival would have, which I was sad about. I've been to a zoo before but not this one in LA. And the one I went to before had at least 10 mini games, which wasn't too bad. But they hand nothin but stores full of zoo animals or game, clothing that was zoo related, and anything else like zoo stuff. I bought her a (favorite wild animal) stuffy that she said was cute. She kept on saying 'no no no you don't have to' or 'don't, I can get it another time' but I got it for her and she said thank you.

After seeing other animals, we went to a little ice cream shop they had here. We ordered some and I got a Oreo blizzard (it's vanilla with Oreo bits inside if u didn't know) and Y/N got (favorite ice cream). We sat on a big rock that was short enough to hop down on, but high enough that our legs couldn't touch the ground. Y/N kicked her legs back and fourth and we talked and talked. The sun was still in the sky but no clouds to be seen. Nothing romantic.

It was about 1:20 now, from what my phone anyway. We sat on the ruck because there was a big tree stump where we could lay our backs on. Plus, the tree provided shade, and we needed that so then the ice cream wouldn't melt while eating it.

We started talking about more about our lives. Like our parents and such. (if you have a guardian that isn't ur original family or guardian that's other people from your mother/fathers fam OR a stepmom or step father, then pretend that's part of the story. And that you practically told Sean EVERYTHING about that particular subject.)

Y/N told me about her life story, she told me happy things and sad things. I felt sorry for the sad parts about her life. She has been through lots. I always wanted her to be a happy gal but life just goes by, and some of it can be depressing.

And me, I told her almost anything I could remember. I told her a embarrassing story that she laughed a lot about. She told me about her embarrassing stories also which made us both crack up. Mostly, I was the one who laughed at her stories. And she was the one who mostly laughed at my stories. We talked about our lives to what we remember, to a few weeks back.

We sometimes went to random subjects too. In one conversation, I talked in Irish, and helped her on what they meant. She now knows some of the language that I grew up knowing. It was a great time.
We had lots of laughs. Even when we finished our ice cream, we kept on going. We didn't look at any more animals, we didn't think of looking for Mark and Joci, we just stayed there. Getting to know more about each other. Which I liked.

"This was amazing, Jack." Y/N says, still looking on what's in front of her. I smile.

I look at Y/N even though she wasn't looking back, "I know, I had a lot of fun with ya." Y/N then looked at me after my sentence.

"I never really told anyone this much information before. And I'm assuming the same as you?" I smile even more.

She smiles back and doesn't turn her head around. We kept our eye contact and I can feel my head lean towards her. I stopped myself before I could lean any further but then I saw Y/N come closer to me too.

I can feel he temptation to just kiss her, But I don't know if she'll allow that. We weren't nose to nose, but we were close enough that I could feel her breath. It smelt like the ice cream she ate before which made me want to kiss her even more and it was more tempting..

We both started to lean forward slowly, as we tilt our heads the opposite sides. I wanted to just kiss her but I didn't want to seem like I was forcing her. I was about to touch her lips until I heard a voice that I didn't want to hear at this time..

HOLY MOLY THIS CHAPTER THO!!!! It's almost Easter and I just wanted to say two things... HAPPY EASTER! (Sorry if u don't celebrate) And there is gonna chapter where you celebrate Easter. For the people who don't celebrate Easter, there's a romantic part during that, so you would miss a lot. It's gonna be apart of the story so, it may not make sense to you if u skip it, but I'm not controlling u.
