Jack was starring at me

I felt my cheeks burn. Was he checking me out? What was he thinking..

He realizes that I caught him starring. He, too, blushed and looked away from me. Mark was helping Joci with the bags and stuff, so we were alone.. which was more awkward,
In the same time we both took a glance at each other. But we both looked away quickly afterwords. We didn't say anything to each other and I didn't mind.

But I wonder if he minded..

~rewind to when you were in the shower~

Joci and Mark were talking about random stuff that I wasn't able to hear, while Y/N was in the shower. I was sort of in the background, just chilling. But I don't really mind cause I don't know what to really talk about.

"Hey, Sean," Mark got my attention, "Jocilyn is going to get something for us to eat. Me and her agreed with Starbucks so.. if you want anything then say it now." Joci sat up from her chair to get what we want.

"What about Y/N?" I ask, thinking of Y/N.

"Pft! pah-lease. Joci and Y/N known each other long enough that I think she knows it on the back of her hand!" Mark says. He is probably right.

"Yup! She wants (favorite drink) with whip/no whip cream and with sugar/and no sugar. She sometimes would get (topping) on her drink, but imma just skip that." She said, very specific about the drink.
For some reason, I tried to remember every single thing. Just in case we get coffee together. Just me and Y/N.

"It's kind of you to think of Y/N right away though." Mark winks at me and I felt my cheeks get warmer.

"Well, I'll just have black coffee with a pack of sugar." I told Joci, forgetting what Mark said a few seconds back.
She took a piece of paper and wrote it down so then she doesn't forget.

"You know we can get food too." Mark adds.
I didn't feel too hungry so I took a pass.

"I'll just have-"

"Orange juice? Or maybe coffee?" Joci interrupts. Knowing he would pick one of the two.

"Coffee's fine, oh and also a coffee cake." Mark adds.
Jocilyn doesn't right anything down cause I think she already remembers it.

I heard the shower stop running.

"Okay, I'll be back with your orders." Joci bows and all of us laugh.
Mark throws the extra card key to Joci so then she could get back in easily.

"You make a good waiter." Mark comments randomly. Joci smiles but shakes her head no.

"I'd like to be a news reporter, or something, it seems interesting." Jocilyn shrugs.
Mark gives her a 'I-wasn't-expecting-you-to-say-that' look. But he seems interested in why she thinks that way.

Joci said goodbye to me and Mark and both of us say goodbye at the same time. I gave a big smirk to Mark.
He looked at me with a question mark splattered on his face.

"I know you like her." I say, my face literally looking like this

"I know you like Krabby Patties squidward." I say. (Ohmigosh Sean XD)
He laughs from the joke, but nervously because he knows what I mean.
I'm such a dirty minded person.

"Well... I mean I-"

"GUYYYSSS!" I heard Y/N yell from upstairs. I looked at the top floor even though I can't see her.

"YEEAAA??" I yell back.

~Same thing happens XD I'm to lazy . . . Time skip to when you started walking downstairs~

I hear footsteps from downstairs and I was assuming that it was Y/N.

My attention was on her, but right when I saw her feet, the door opened. So by now, my attention was to who opened the door. It was Joci with our food and drinks. Mark gets up to help and when he does so, my attention goes back to Y/N. Her full body was now on the downstairs floor. She had my blue sweater on that I bought only a few months ago. I wore it a lot once when I got it but then stopped a few weeks back, since I got bored of it.

She did look stunning..

Her voice was everything. It sounds like she's singing the most beautiful song every word she speaks. Her height was perfect for me.

And her smile.

Her smile brightens a dark room, it always makes me smile even in the hardest times. Her laugh makes me want to laugh with her. But sometimes I'll smile big.

And her body..

'Wait' I think.

Y/N looked at me.

'Wait

Was I starring for that long?

I look away from her. Even though I didn't really want to..
I felt my cheeks get cherry red. I put my warm hands on my hot cheeks, to hide the fact that I'm actually blushing.

"HEY! GUYS! ARE YOU GONNA GET YOUR FOOD OR WAT?!?" Mark yells from the kitchen or the dining table.

"Uh.. Y-YEA!" I get up from the chair I was sitting in and walked to the dining table.

"Where's my stuff?" I ask, looking around the dining table. Only finding Joci and Mark eating their own.

"We set it down in the kitchen. Same with Y/N's." I nod my head and turn around to go in the kitchen.

I go into the kitchen and Y/N was already there. She was looking around for the cups, she somehow couldn't find it.

"Y/N, the cups are over there." I point over to the cups. They were next to the kitchen sink.

She turns her head to me, then follows my directions. She looks over at the sink. I can tell that she mentally face palmed herself for not catching it sooner.

"Um.. thank you.." she takes the (favorite drink) she wanted and walks to the dining table without saying another word.
'She's probably traumatized from me starring at her.. nice going, me.'
I shake my head to clear my thoughts. I took the last drink that was in the cup holder, that was obviously mine, and walked to the dining table. Everyone was eating/drinking their stuff there so I guess I'll join them.

I sat next to Y/N cause Mark was sitting next to Jocilyn. I drink a sip of coffee. I wish there was a little more sugar in it but I don't really care.

Marks face lit up.

"Hey! instead of staying here in the house all the time, we can go out and do something! Like..." he looks around the room to give him some ideas.
"Like to the zoo!" He points to a snow globe that has a panda bear inside it.
It was titled, "Los Anglos Zoo"
I look at Y/N to see if she was up for the idea. Her eyes were wide from the thought of seeing cute animals. I agreed with Y/N inside my head and get my phone out from my pocket. I put pressure on the power button and It immediately opened to my home page. My background photo was of me and Y/N making the dorkiest faces. Her face was cross eyed with a double chin. While I... have a duck face with my hair all messy,  and my glasses weren't centered in my face. I smile at the silly photo but my eyes shoot up to the time. It was only 12:38, we still had much time to go to the zoo before it closes.

"Yea, that sounds like a good idea. We have a lot of time to get ready and stuff cause it's about 12:40." Even though it was 12:38, if you rounded it up mathematically then it goes up to 12:40. (Sean is showing his 2rd grade standards XD)

"Well then lets go!" Y/N sits up from her chair and chugs the rest of her drink down.
Mark finishes his coffee cake and licks off the crumbs from his fingers. He barely touched his drink, too.

"Wait, wait, we have a long while before it's too late. And I'm not finished with my drink." He picks up his drink and takes a sip.

"But we can go now! Before millions of other people invade the place!" I do see where Y/N is coming from.

"Yea, we can get a head start!" I follow Y/N's lead.
Joci is the opposite of Mark at the moment, she had finished her drink first instead of the coffee cake.

"We can wait here. It's not the end of the world if we have to wait for awhile in line or whatever." Joci says, in Marks side.

"But it makes more sense for us to leave now! You guys can drink, and eat, your stuff while we're in the car!" Y/N says, getting a little impatient.

"Fineeee," Mark drinks another long sip of his milked coffee, "we better go before Y/N explodes." Mark laughs at his little joke. Same goes with everyone else besides Y/N. She seems pretty upset about something.

Mark went upstairs to his room to find a different shirt, because it's very warm outside. Jocilyn went to her and Y/Ns apartment to get a slim Jacket she wanted to get. I don't know if it was for style or that she actually needed it.

Me and Y/N were alone, I thought of asking her if she was okay. I haven't seen her smile as much as she would have.

"Hey, you okay?" I ask, my voice a little quieter.

"Yea.. just thinking about my parents, is all." She sighs and tilts her head down to the floor some.
I really hope she feels better soon. I really feel bad for her, and I know what it's like to loose a family member. But parents? Both of them? I don't know what I would do if I was in this scenario..

"Hey, it'll be okay I promise." I put my hand on her arm to show that I'm here for her, "things will get better. I can be your voice, I can lead you to your path."

Y/N looks up at me. Her eyes connected to my own.

"Just know that I'm here, and so is your friends. It might be hard but try to think positive." I beg her. She nods silently, listening to my words.

"Okay yo, I'm back." Mark stops his steps and looks at me and Y/N.
Probably wondering what was going on.

"Don't even ask, let's just wait for Jocilyn to come-"

"AYOOO GUESS WHOS BACK!" Joci closes the apartment door.

I look at Joci to see a short sleeved shirt but with the thin jacket she was telling us about.
She swallows the last sip of her drink and throws it into a trash can near by.

She walks up to us and said hi to Y/N. Y/N didn't say anything or didn't move. She was probably thinking about stuff..

"Hewwow? Earth two Y/N?" Jocilyn waved in front of Y/N's face.
She seemed hyper cause now she's using a baby voice. That drink must of boosted her up.

Y/N blinks a few times then shakes her head a small bit. She moves her head upward and quickly looks around the room. She was greeted by 2 pairs of brown eyes, and pairs of blue ones, which I call my own.

She looked at all of us and smiled...

~ Y / N  P O V ~

"Sorry, got lost in space for a second." I admitted, Joci just shook her head, understanding the feeling.

"LETS GOO TO THE ZOO!" Mark randomly said. Jocilyn was the first one out of the room and Mark was the second, chasing after her.
I was the third but Jack caught up with me for some reason. We were side by side, just walking to the car. We didn't say a word, but it wasn't awkward..... not for me anyway.
Probably because I was just thinking about life. And of what Jack told me about earlier. It really changed my mood and how I thought. Because, thinking positive and being positive, is a great feeling to have. So imma try to stick with that and see where my life goes too.

Once when we got into the car I was in the backseat with Jocilyn. The 2 boys sat with each other in the front. They talked about stuff that I couldn't catch, due to the music Mark was blasting. I shouldn't really call it blasting, cause really it was quiet. Quiet enough to have a conversation, anyway. But it was harder to hear because they were in the front from me, and not talking in my direction. Plus, they seemed to be talking quietish. Or maybe I'm just going deaf. Hopefully not :,).

Ok, when we're at the zoo, think positive. We're gonna see cute little animals that I always would horribly draw as a child. Little otters or seals.
It would be cool to see fish too! Like, that can't survive without water. Like sharks and maybe Jellyfish! Now, getting to SEA them in real life though.. it's quite SHOCKING. *slap on the knee* what a pun.

Once when we got to the zoo, I can hear little kids laughing, and hear thousands of conversations happen all in one. I can smell food..... CHEERIOS!

"I CAN SMELL MY DESTINY!" I un-Buckle my seat belt and open the car door before anyone else. I can smell some of the fresh water that the fish swim In. I can smell trees, and flowers. I can hear a faint bzzzzz from bees, roaming around. (It ur allergic to bees, then change it to a dragon fly XD)

I hear the other three's car door slam shut. From the corner of my eye, I can see them take a quick glance around the place. And smile. I smile with them.

It wasn't even hard to think positive
