This is an idea I've had bouncing around my skull for a while now. No idea how I would write it, but here are some funny little guys to look at, I guess! See them with your eyeballs. Consume them. (By the way, this was somewhat inspired by Room For Improvement by The Stupendium, but it is its own thing. Still, music makes everything better :D)

Samuel Collins

The jack-of-all-trades guy who literally just wants money. He was told that this would be a normal job. Who lied to him? Probably Haiden. He's unbelievably shady and scummy, almost to the point of being a scammer; whether he has a heart of gold is... up for interpretation. He does have a genuine passion for painting, though.

Lydia Dreng

Reclusive billionaire who owns the mansion and funds all of her roommates' insane ventures. Often has her head in the clouds, possibly a stoner. She's sort of mysterious; she likes to drop in randomly and check on people, especially Julie and Avery. She's basically their patron, excited about whatever they choose to do. And willing to fund it, too. At the same time, she'll take impromptu vacations and vanish for days on end, much to the anxiety of Haiden.

Haiden Dreng

A plumber by trade. They're very sweet and crave companionship, but they find it difficult to actually talk to people or connect to them. Which is why they hired Samuel in the first place. They don't really need a handyman; between them and Julie, they can do pretty much any repair they could need on their own. Lydia adopted them about 7 years ago, when they were 13.

Reese Cousteau

The most genuinely insane of the people in this house. He embraces the idea of being a mad scientist; he's mostly a chemist, but he dabbles in other stuff too. Can and will run experiments on Samuel if he's allowed to. He hates being called old.

Julie Cousteau

An incredibly skilled engineer. The absurdity of her designs scales directly with how long it's been since she last slept. Where her brother Reese's boundless energy goes into maniacal laughter and homicidal intent, hers goes into ENTHUSIASM. She's close friends with Avery, who finds her rambling/infodumping endearing and is always willing to listen. She likes to be helpful!

Brook Cousteau

Edgy teenager who is OBSESSED with the punk subculture. Her relationship with her father, Reese, is basically like the relationship between Vanessa and Dr. Doof; he encourages her to follow in his footsteps, but he supports her regardless.

Avery Viswan

A calm, down-to-earth artist. Or at least, that's the face she presents to the world. In reality, she's an absolute mess; her room looks like a tornado blew through, she's constantly flitting between WIPs and shiny new ideas, that kind of thing. Just your average artist.
