*[9.] Purposely spoiling the future

Chapter: 09

^^

-Saturday-

There was a knock on the door, alerting the "fallen angel". She groaned, ignoring it. There was another knock and it was louder, getting her up. She flipped the blanket and moved the pillow she cuddled with, jumping off the bed and walking towards the door.

"Coming, coming..." Tsukiko murmured opening the door. Shikaku was at the door with a tiny smile.

"Good morning, Amano-san," He greeted.

"Mornin' to you, too," Tsukiko returned, giving a small smile in return, "What'cha doing here?"

Shikaku coughed, "I was here to say that the Hokage wants you in for questioning."

"Questioning? Isn't that a little bit like... interrogation?" I thought aloud, trying to find the word. Shikaku nodded.

"Yes, it is like that, but since you don't have chakra, we have to resort to a different matter," Shikaku explained. Tsukiko tilted her head, squinting her eyes and gave a lopsided smile.

"What does having chakra have to do in this situation? Is it relevant?" She asked, expression still displayed. Shikaku nodded.

"Yes, it is,"

"Then--"

"We shall go to the Hokage now." Shikaku said, walking away. Tsukiko stared at his back as it got further away from her. She shook her head and grabbed her backpack. She quickly grabbed her pair of sandals and ran barefoot towards the Nara head. Shikaku stilled, turning his head to see the winged girl. She was on the ground, shoving her sandals onto her feet and putting her backpack on after that. She stood up after, giving a thumbs up.

"I'm ready!" Tsukiko announced.

"You haven't changed out of your... 'pajamas'," Shikaku deadpanned, referring to the shorts and T-shirt. Tsukiko threw up her hands.

"You said go to the Hokage now! I wouldn't have time to change!" Tsukiko argued. Shikaku shook his head and pointed to her room.

"Just go change. Look decent, but act fast when changing," He ordered. Tsukiko nodded, running to her room and throwing her backpack off in the process. In around ten minutes, she ran out the room in her usual outfit with her weapons, too.

"Let's go!" Tsukiko cheered, adjusting her backpack straps. Shikaku eyed her up and down then walked away, motioning her to follow. She skipped her way to him and walked at his pace.

"Why can't we just do that teleport thing that Kakashi does?" Tsukiko asked.

"We could just walk to the tower. It'd be a waste of chakra if you do it just for transport. Plus, we need the exercise," Shikaku explained.

"Chakra... How does it feel to have chakra?" Tsukiko asked. "I mean... From where I'm from, we have something along the lines of what you have, but it's different. It only helps our body, but it doesn't tie into weapons or danger or physical fights."

Shikaku thought for a moment then spoke. "To simplify it, I guess you can say that it's a warm feeling. Yes, we use it for defense and we do have chakra in our bodies."

"I'm jealous... You get to use chakra to do cool stuff, but in our world we can't. I've had friends that believed in stuff like this; manipulating their chakra. It never worked after 6 years. I guess you can," Tsukiko sighed. Shikaku rose a brow and took a note when she mentioned 'in our world'.

"I thought you said from where you're from, you don't have chakra," Shikaku asked.

"Yeah, we don't," Tsukiko replied.

"You just said that your friends tried to manipulate their chakra, did you not?"

"Well, I did. It's just that I think it would be the same as your chakra. This world's chakra. Ours is probably to keep our body in check. Like, if your missing your... What was it again? Oh, yeah. If your missing your 'throat chakra', you wouldn't be able to speak," Tsukiko tried to explain.

"Our chakra works like that in a way, but we can manipulate it for good uses," Shikaku nodded.

"I believe it can harm me if I try to do anything fancy. That's if I have any chakra," Tsukiko shook her head, thinking this whole thing was a huge jigsaw with half of the pieces missing.

"Hmm... We're here," Shikaku said as the two looked up at the Hokage tower. They walked inside and walked up the stairs. Well, Tsukiko jogged up the stairs for exercise. Once they got to they door, they knocked and waited to be called in. When they did, they walked in and stood politely.

"Good morning, Amano-san, Shikaku," Hiruzen greeted.

"Mornin', Hirukage!/Good morning, Lord Hokage," Tsukiko and Shikaku said at the same time. Hiruzen and Shikaku turned to Tsukiko with a raised brow.

"Hiru-" Hiruzen started and Shikaku finishing.

"-Kage?"

Tsukiko gave a sheepish smile and chirped, "Yeah~ I mixed up the name 'Hiruzen' and 'Hokage' together so I don't have to choose one of them."

"Calling the Hokage by their given name is already a choice that should be marked off," Shikaku said, deadpanning.

"Oh," Was all that Tsukiko could muster. Hiruzen chuckled.

"You may call me that if you want. Now, shall we start the questioning?" Hiruzen asked, getting serious. Tsukiko nodded.

"Let's start from the beginning. What was chasing you before you got into this village?" He asked.

"I was being chased by these people in cloaks. The cloaks had red clouds on them and had a black background. I ran into four of them, but they were in pairs and different times," Tsukiko answered.

"Did the four give an organization name?"

"No, they did not."

"Did the four give their own names?" Hiruzen asked, making Tsukiko take a quick thought.

'Either I tell or not tell! Think fast!' She thought.

"No," Tsukiko answered, blank faced. Though, on the inside she was panicking.

'Bad option! REGRET IS FILLING OUR MIND!' Inner her screeched, running around.

"I see... Now, where are you from?"

'Oh, god. It's this question,' She thought along with her inner.

"Earth,"

"Earth?"

"Earth."

"Care to explain where in the Earth country?" Hiruzen asked. Tsukiko raised a brow then face palmed, realizing that there's a place called Earth country here.

"Never mind..." Tsukiko mumbled in her hand. "I meant a different planet. A different universe. A different--"

"We get it," A new voice cuts in. Tsukiko turned to the voice and glared.

"What are you doing here? I thought it was only for me, Shikaku-san, and Hirukage," Tsukiko folded her arms.

"I'm simply here to watch. Also, there was supposed to be training today, but the Hokage called it off. Curiosity hits," Kakashi said, reading his book.

"Oh, great. Why must he be here, Hirukage?" Tsukiko groaned.

"I summoned him here so he can detect if you're lying. There is Shikaku and I, but having another person here would be extra," Hiruzen explained.

"Okay... Go on to the next question," Tsukiko said, sitting down on the floor, playing with her wings' feathers.

"If you're from a different...universe, how are you here?" Hiruzen asked. Tsukiko took a long minute to think about whether or not she should mention Leo. Ah, she will.

"I'm going to be very... vague? Am I using that word right? Never mind... I died, got sent to heaven, a 'demon' got me and threw me into this world," I try to explain, not wanting to get into details. Hiruzen, Kakashi, and Shikaku looked at Tsukiko in shock throughout the last sentence.

"Demon...?" Hiruzen asked.

"No! I'm not a demon!" Someone screeched from outside the door. The door got rammed open and a shinobi was trying to hold the person back.

"I-I-I'm sorry, Lord Hokage! I-I-It's just that this person showed up out of nowhere!" The shinobi repeated apologized, holding the persons' arms back.

"Let me," The person rammed their shoulder into the Shinobi's arm, making them loose their grip, "go!"

Right when the person got released, they ran to Tsukiko, hugging her.

"Tsuki-chan~!" They said, rubbing their face onto her cheek. Tsukiko's eyes twitched and she grabbed their wrist, throwing them down to the ground. The person let out a cry, but she stomped on their stomach, grinding her foot.

"What are you doing here, Leo?" Tsukiko asked with a dark glare. Everyone in the room shivered while Leo laughed.

"I was just watching you get interrogated until you mention me~! Except you did call me a demon... I'm a god!" Leo pouted, holding onto Tsukiko's ankle.

"A god that will leave!" Tsukiko growled, stomping her feet. Leo let out a *fake* cry and *pretended to* tried to push Tsukiko off.

"A-Ah... Amano-san.... Y-You can got off him now..." Hiruzen said, looking at the blonde hair boy. Tsukiko gave one last glare and lifted her foot up.

"May I ask who you are?" Shikaku asked.

"Silly Nara, you just asked me a question!" Leo chuckled, rubbing his stomach as he got up. Hiruzen, Kakashi, and Shikaku narrowed their eyes at Leo, wondering why he knew of his name.

"He asked for who you are," Kakashi harshly said. Leo turned his gaze towards him and bowed down in his direction.

"It's an honor to see the person who reeked havoc across the land~! Especially when it came to the Kannabi bridge incident few years ba--"

Kakashi flickered behind Leo with a kunai raised at his jugular. "Let me ask again, who are you?"

The room dropped a few degrees making the atmosphere tense. Tsukiko could only think what the hell happened at this Kannabi bridge and why Leo is such an asshole.

Leo chuckled, making people in the room wonder if he cared about his life. "Ah~ Sorry to bring up the event where you had to kill--"

Kakashi was so close to killing him until Tsukiko shouted, "Leo! Shut the hell up! Just stop being an asshole and introduce your crusty ass self!"

Leo disappeared from Kakashi's hold and was next to Tsukiko, head resting on her shoulder. "Awe~ Tsuki-chan! You never let me have--"

"Just introduce yourself or I'll kick your ass," Tsukiko threatened.

"I'll gladly have you kick my ass," Leo said, making Tsukiko shove his head off her shoulder.

"Now," She ordered in a tone laced with venom. Leo chuckled, bowing down.

"Leo, or Lionasaur, at your service~! I'm a god of the void and I'm the one who sent Tsuki-chan here~!" Leo introduced, bowing down.

"God? You're right when you said demon, for once," Kakashi muttered. Hiruzen kept his eyes narrowed at the new character.

"How did you send Tsukiko here?" Hiruzen asked, not using his usual name for her. Leo put his hands together and pulled them apart, showing glitter falling from the palm of his hands.

"Magic," He said, eyes sparkling.

"Go die," Tsukiko glared, not wanting his nonsense.

"If only you join me! Oh, wait. You already got that covered," Leo chuckled at his own joke, making Tsukiko try to hit him. "I was just joking~! Sadly, Hatake didn't want to take a joke when I mention his dead--"

"Watch it." Kakashi warned, giving Leo a dark glare.

"Oh~! Scary! Not," Leo then started to chuckle. Hiruzen coughed, making Leo turn his attention to him.

"Oh? Are you dying now? I thought that was later on!" Leo gasped, looking at Hiruzen. Hiruzen glared at him.

"Can we continue our questioning?" He harshly asked.

"Ah~ Yes!/ Yes." Leo and Tsukiko said together.

"Now, this one is for you, Leo," Hiruzen gave him a pointed look. Leo nodded with a toothy grin.

"Why did you send Tsukiko here?" Hiruzen asked. Leo chuckled.

"Easy! She was the 100 trillionth person to die and I got to do anything I wanted to do with her! So, I sent her here to see how she deals with all the struggles that will come soon! Especially with you, Hiruzen Sarutobi," Leo said darkly. The bottom of where Leo stood glowed orange, making him float.

"Ah~! That's my cue to assist the dead! I'll be watching you all!" Leo chuckled, raising two fingers at his forehead and giving a salute.

"Don't get into romance where you have to plunge your hand through someone's heart again, Hatake! Wait... That happens in the future. Well, bye people who will die!" Leo said, disappearing. Kakashi growled at his form, wanting to rip him apart if he ever shows up again. Tsukiko was beyond angry since he was keeping secrets and he was being a big, douche-y, asshole. Hiruzen was labeling Leo as a potential threat while Shikaku thought he was a dangerous figure to be around.

"This...This questioning is over," Hiruzen said. Tsukiko gave a sigh of relief and walked to the window, getting her wings ready.

"I need some air. I'm going out this way. Also, I'm sorry Kakashi," Tsukiko said before she flew out the window.

She flew upside down, rubbing her face with her hands. "Leo, you're an asshole..."

Tsukiko flew down to an area of the village that seemed empty and took a seat on a bench. She rested her elbows on her knees, hands bawled up in a fist with her forehead resting on it.

"Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn it! What does Leo mean?" She muttered in a harsh whisper. Tsukiko heard a crunch of a leaf, making her turn her head in that direction. The thing, or person, that caused the noise stopped to look at her in the eyes. The person turned away, walking forward.

"Tch. Someone else is here," They mutter, walking away with their hands in their pocket.

"Raven hair..." Tsukiko muttered, remembering back to the people in cloaks.
