Knocks on the door was heard, but they were ignored. The person kept knocking on the door, but it was still ignored.
"Tsukiko! You have training today. Wake up," Shikamaru reminded. Tsukiko nodded, but didn't bother getting up from the bed. Shikamaru heard nothing, so he just decided to walk in.
"Oi, wake --"
"I've been awake. Just reading a book," Tsukiko said, turning the page of the book. It looked like she was at the end of the book. "I'm on the second book, let me read in peace."
Shikamaru's eyes twitched at the sight of tissues and Tsukiko cross legged, reading a book called Fifty Shades Darker. What the hell?
"What are you--never mind. Just get up and go," Shikamaru said, shaking his head and walking out. Tsukiko stared at him as he closed the door and continued reading. She read the last two pages fast and gave a huge sigh.
"I'm already finished with the second book. I have no life," Tsukiko said, stretching. "Oh, well. I have to do the thing-a-ma-bob with Kakashi. How annoying."
She got from the bed and did her usual routine. After changing, showering, washing up, etc., she grabbed her backpack and the third book of the Fifty Shades series. She stuffed it inside, neatly, and put the backpack on her back. "Time to break my legs."
--
Kakashi was late again and when he went to the area the two trained at, Tsukiko was there, reading. Kakashi walked up to the tree next to the one Tsukiko was leaning on and put down the supplies. Before Kakashi could speak, Tsukiko looked up at him with an irritated expression. "Can we not train today? I just want to read. Plus, I had Seth train me yesterday."
Kakashi looked at her blankly. "As much as I want to, no. We have to get you ready for when you become a sensei. You need to learn the importance of kunai and shuriken."
"Assistant sensei. I'm not someone with chakra. My aim sucks more than a pornstar. I'm not even a Jonin. Heck, I ain't a genin!" Tsukiko said (or shouted in someone else's case). She put down her book and stood up. "Seriously, though. If I don't make bulls-eye, we're not training."
"That doesn't make any sense," Kakashi said, deadpanning. Tsukiko blushed out of embarrassment.
"I meant if I make it, we're not training!" She corrected. Tsukiko took the kunai out of it's holster (the one on her right ankle), and threw it up. She spun around, grabbing the kunai and throwing it at the target. Luck was not on her side. The kunai was embedded deep, but it wasn't on the bulls-eye. It was on two rings next to it.
"Damn it! I tried to be so cool with doing that move, but it didn't work! Fate failed me!" Tsukiko complained, sad that the bad ass move didn't work. "That's what I get for trying to do a move that was in some ninja movie."
Tsukiko burst out laughing at what she just said. "Oh my god! Ha! This is like some ninja movie! This world is absolutely insane!" Kakashi's eye twitched at her small fit and sudden burst of laughter.
"Just... Just get started with your training. We'll just be working on aim today," Kakashi said, thinking that she was the insane one instead of the world. Tsukiko snickered for no reason, she just felt like doing so. She walked over to the weapons pile Kakashi made and grabbed some kunai. She twirled the kunai on her finger--through the hole, she ain't that talented-- and stared at it.
"Man, I suck at throwing shuriken," Tsukiko muttered. Kakashi grabbed the kunai from her hands and replaced it with shuriken.
"Then work on shuriken," Kakashi said, turning away from her. She mimicked him then gave out an 'ugh'. She moved a few feet away from the target board and threw all the shuriken at once. Surprisingly, she made it closer to the bulls-eye. She shrugged, satisfied with what she just done. She then remembered that she had shuriken in one of her pouches took that out. Repeating the process of throwing shuriken at the target for a few hours, she grew tired.
"Kakashi~ It's been 2 hours... My arms are sore. Let's rest and take a break...!" Tsukiko whined. Kakashi twirled some shuriken on his fingers and rolled his eye.
"During a battle, do you think there's breaks?" Kakashi asked. Tsukiko shook her head, but decided to continue to convince him.
"Of course there's no breaks, but if you're fatigued and have comrades with you, you can take a break!" Tsukiko reasoned.
"I'm trying to say if you're alone," Kakashi said.
"That's stupid. Why go alone? You need someone to help during the job," Tsukiko scoffed. Kakashi's mind came up with a question that made him wonder what Tsukiko would think.
"Let's say this. Your comrades have been taken by the enemy, straying you away from the main objective of the mission. You can't do both since the time you take your comrades back, your mission is no longer available, meaning that the target has disappeared. Would you risk your life to save your comrades or continue the mission?" Kakashi asked, wanting a serious answer. What's up with the sudden question, Tsukiko thought. She saw the glint in his eye, shivering as she saw how serious they were.
'If I save the comrades, I'd suffer the consequences... If I continue the mission, they'll die. People die. It's common. If the mission is vital and I abandon it, the consequences will be far worse. Why is he giving me this question?' Tsukiko thought, biting her finger nail. She tried to come with a conclusion, hoping it will be good enough.
"It... it depends," Tsukiko said. Kakashi's eye closed, remembering how he once felt and his choices. "Depends on what?" He asked.
"If I'm close with my comrades, I'd most likely save them. If I'm not, I'd leave them for dead. If I do know them, but not as well, I'd still leave them for dead. Then again, what if I saved them and they wanted me to continue the mission? I would've disappointed them and start to live with the guilt and resentment. If I continued the mission and go back with no comrades, I'd be hated and labeled as a heartless person. Also, the parents of my comrades would despise me, wanting to press charges. Both are bad options and if I choose one of them and make it out alive, I'd drive myself to suicide," Tsukiko answered, fiddling with her fingers.
Kakashi immediately thought of his father and what had happened to him when he saved his comrades. He took his own life because he was so through with it all. Kakashi furrowed his brows, remembering how he resented his father after he left him alone. "Training is over with."
Tsukiko watched him walk away and thought to herself what happened. Seriously, what had happened? What made him ask such a thing? I want to save them and finish the mission. I want to.
Tsukiko looked at the supplies that were left behind and decided to clean it up. After cleaning it up, she made a decision to practice her speed. She'll do suicides. Suicides were something from the modern world where you sprint to the opposite side from where your position is and touch the ground and then sprint back from where your previous position was. This process continues until someone said stop. However, Tsukiko revised it so after she returned to her previous position, she'd do ten push ups.
--
Tsukiko placed her hands on her thighs, bending over, with her forehead dripping in sweat. For the last 2 hours, she continued on doing suicides. Wanting to continue her training, she stood straight and started to mover her shoulder in circles to loosen up her muscles. She did the same with her feet, flapping her wings in the process. Having black wings and dark, long hair isn't a good match. At least it's in a high pony tail.
"I... I'm not hungry yet even after 4 hours of training. How surprising. Well, time to train until I grow hungry~" Tsukiko said, starting to put bandages on her feet and hands. For the next hour or more, she was going to train with Taijutsu.
--With Leo--
"Seth~ I'm bored!" Leo whined, floating upside down. "No one has come yet and Tsuki-chan is training~!"
"When have you ever decided not to bother someone when they're doing something important? Wait, shocker. Right now," Seth said in a monotonous voice. Leo pouted then smiled brightly.
"We should--"
"No," Seth said instantly.
"Why not?!" Leo squeaked. "You don't even know what I was going to say!"
"Yes, I do. I've known you long enough to know what you're thinking," Seth said, closing his eye. Leo pouted and pried open Seth's eye with his fingers, causing Seth to swat his hand away. "Stop it!"
Leo pouted, jumping up and floated around. "If you think you know me so much, what was I going to say?"
"You were going to ask if we should go over to that damned world and make ourselves criminals by joining the Akatsuki. You were also going to mention the idea of altering the timeline, leading us to have no idea on what will happen, which can endanger the person we are supposed to protect. If we're supposed to protect Amano-san, do you suppose we protect her emotionally or physically?" Seth questioned. Leo was about to speak, but Seth cut him off. "You already messed up the timeline by doing that ridiculous act. Writing your name out of the people you killed? I'm certain that making such a brutal act would gain the attention of the Akatsuki. You're already putting Amano-san endanger."
Leo shrugged his shoulders. "I guess it's all about chance and" --Seth hit him-- "Ow!"
"Stop it with your careless attitude. I rather not loose this position and be thrown down to hell with the two lustful gods," Seth order, shivering at the thought of Hades and Satan.
"Aren't we both like them?" Leo questioned. Seth hit him again.
"You're the god, I'm made a servant. No, we're not," Seth said, glaring him down. Leo smirked, an idea popping up in his mind. He summoned a red bouquet and bent down, holding the flowers out.
"You're my god, though~!" Leo flirted. Seth took the bouquet and threw it far. The flowers kept going on since the void is, you know, continuous and the fact that Seth's throws things with a lot of force. Leo whined, fake crying at his refusal. The two continued bickering, not caring if a dead person shows up. They'll just have to wait for them to become aware of their presence.
--Back to Tsukiko--
"It's been an hour and I'm starving," Tsukiko moaned, cuddling with her wings as she lied down on the ground. That rhymed.
"If you're starving, go eat." Kakashi muttered, making Tsukiko yelp. She backed up against the tree and looked at him with wide eyes.
"What the hell?! When did you get here?! How did I not notice?!" She questioned, putting a hand to her --nonexistent-- heart.
Kakashi deadpanned. "I got here thirty minutes ago. Also, you don't have chakra to sense me."
Tsukiko looked at him with a wary look. "You were watching me train for thirty minutes without me noticing... That's a little creepy. Are you a creep? Wait... How old are you? You have grey hair--that's freaky. What, do you entrance people with your looks and make them follow you into your basement? Are you a pedophile?"
Kakashi's expression turned to annoyance fast. "I'm not a creep nor a pedophile. I'm only 23."
"Dude, just because your 23 doesn't mean that resolves anything. There are people your age who are pedophiles," Tsukiko said, giving a 'wtf' look. Her face then changed to shock. "You're older than me. You're older than me by 4 years. On second thought, never mind, that was obvious with your hair and all."
Kakashi put his hand on his face. "Stop bringing my hair into this."
"What, do you stylize it on purpose? Holding pillows against your head to keep it defying gravity?" Tsukiko teased, but doubled over when her belly started to growl. She slowly stood up straight and pointed a finger at Kakashi. "You're a senior, buy me food."
Kakashi gave a look of disbelief. "What? You're younger than me, buy me food."
Tsukiko rested her hands on her hips. "You're an idiot. Do you even know how this world works?"
"Look who's talking," Kakashi said, narrowing his eyes.
"You're right..." Tsukiko agreed, remembering that she only been here for a few weeks. She then remembered the unlimited coin pouch that Leo gave her and she gave a smirk of triumph. "Never mind~ I'll go buy some food myself."
"With what money?" Kakashi asked. Tsukiko bent down and grabbed her backpack, taking out the pouch that Leo gave her. She pulled out a whole stack of ryo, making Kakashi look at it with shock.
"This money~"
"Did you just rob someone?"
"I wouldn't stoop that low."
"Pay for my food to make up for everything I got you on the first day," Kakashi ordered, leaving Tsukiko to become silent.
"I pick the place," Tsukiko murmured, angry that she couldn't disagree. She can't be that rude.
