I woke to a heart beat monitor sound ,and a cold hand against mine .

My mind wandered way to much .
To the dark recesses of my brain .
What if he's a vampire ?

The hand shifted .
I then looked up to the pale boy whom saved my very life .
He looked to me a harshness to the stare.

What if I am would you be scared ?

That's when I knew he was a vampire and that he could read my mind .
And talk to me that way .

That's when I took a deep breath and asked .

"Was that you "
I nodded to him ,my eyes never leaving his frame .

"Yes"
He hissed ,my spine tingling at how inhumane he was acting.

"So you're a vampire "
I whispered ,knowing that he didn't want it public's .

He avoided eye contact and slowly and lightly nodded .

That's when I sat there .
