Hi everyone,

This is a Fanfiction featuring characters from NARUTO, a manga by Mr. Masashi Kishimoto. It takes place in a fictional, modern, alternative universe, that is entirely independent of the manga’s original world (even though the names of the cities remain the same as those of the ninja villages). So you don’t need to have watched or read NARUTO to understand the plot. The image on the front cover is by digital artist GUWEIZ. Unless the artist is mentioned (especially for fan arts), the media used are royalty-free images.

The events take place over several years and the chapters don’t follow a specific chronological order, so please, pay attention to the dates. Hinata might also seem OOC (it’s intentional, please don’t throw tomatoes at me!). As for Naruto, I’m keeping his “dattebayo” “ttebayo” as in the original series, I might (or not) change it if I find a term that could replace it.

I wrote it in French—a couple of years ago, but I’ve never shared it till last year because I thought it was clichéd. After rereading it, I realized it wasn’t as bad as I believed and so, I decided to translate it. Bear in mind that English is not my first language, so if I make any mistakes (of any kind), feel free to point them out. Your opinions and constructive criticism are much appreciated, please let me know your thoughts!
