RAINBOW'S POV

I sauntered into school. "Time to be awesome!"I told myself. I checked the time on my Apple Watch, and bit my lip when I realised that it was 9:00 and school started at 9:05. My teacher could be really jerky about stuff like that..... who cares?! Not me! As I walked though the massive doors an announcement came through the speakers.

"School will start an hour later today, as it is hearts and hooves day!" Crackled the speaker.

It was hearts and hooves day? Oh s**t! I cannot stand hearts and hooves day!

"Hey rainbow! Happy hearts and hooves day!"

"RD, be my valentine!"

"I love you RD!"

Came echoing down the locker hallway. "Too bad!" I yelled at them. "You know I wouldn't fall for one of you LOSERS!" I walked to my locker. "S**T!" I muttered as I saw a crazy mess of hundreds, maybe thousands of heart shaped pieces of glass come flying out of my locker. What idiot does that to win a person's love? The impact of all the hearts knocked me backwards and sent me sprawling across the floor, covered in tiny, heavy heart shaped bits of glass. "Ow.." I muttered under my breath.

"Need a hand?" I heard a boy's voice ask.

"Well, what does it look like?" I said, rolling my eyes. He looked down at me and I found myself saying "Um.. I didn't mean it like that you know.." I grinned sheepishly. No! It WAS NOT HAPPENING AGAIN! I AM NOT FALLING FOR THIS TOTAL STRANGER WHO I HAVE ONLY JUST MET ONCE! I sighed and took the light cyan hand that he offered me. He pulled me up and I realised we were both staring into each other's eyes. He did have amazing, emerald eyes. I blushed, and looked away. A faint pink appeared on his cheeks.

"Thanks.. I'm rainbow dash, by the way..." I said, nervously.
