Get out, do patrol, fight Eggman. Or someone else.

A common thief, or Starline, or the Babylon Rogues, or someone else that threatened him and his family and sometimes the world.

Make sure his friends are fine. Make sure they're not overworking themselves.

Make sure Shadow doesn't do anything stupid.

Make sure Rouge doesn't steal something else.

Make sure Knuckles isn't too lonely.

Make sure Amy doesn't get herself in trouble.

Make sure Tails stays alive. Make sure no one hurts his little brother. Make sure he's happy and fed and warm and unafraid.

Lastly, make sure he himself doesn't crash. Otherwise everything else falls apart.
