For Him (AU)
Mentions of depression, bullying and violence will be in this chapter
"Miss Hawkins?" Agent Miles popped his head into her office.
"Please, call me AGENT Hawkins. You gotta respect me," Skye said.
"Agent Bucket needs to see you. It's an emergency. He waits for you in his office."
—
Bucket popped a butterscotch into his mouth. Billy sat across from him, twirling his thumbs in his lap. Skye appeared in the room. "Agent Hawkins is here," she declared.
Bucket wasn't in the mood to scold her for her... weirdness. Billy immediately jumped up and hugged her. "Um... hi Billy?" Skye said, unsure of how to react.
Billy pulled away. "Sorry. Been a while."
"What are you doing here?"
"U-um... I didn't feel safe, I didn't know where to go..."
"What happened?"
Agent Perry Bucket stood, walking over to his partner. "Miss Hawkins, some very bad things have happened to Mickey."
"What?! Like what?! Was she killed?! Oh, whoever did that will really be in for i-"
"No, no. That's not at all what's happening."
"H-he said she was acting weird," Billy squeaked. "She was all over him, extremely over protective, not only of him but the whole group. Then... then she lost it. Laura's in another dimension and Em was stabbed and... Mallory's missing too..."
"What about Tibby?! We need to keep him safe!" Skye exclaimed.
"He's safe. She woul never hurt him. We-we can try to get to him."
—
Mickey left the body where it was. She never thought she'd use this power over a girl shooting a loving look at her idiotic boyfriend, but she did. No-one would ever find out she was responsible for the death. Not a mark was on the girl. She turned back to Tibby, who looked horrified at the body in front of him. Mickey couldn't help but crack a smile. "Why are you smiling? I killed a man! A woman!" Tibby exclaimed.
"You're so weird."
"You're weird for thinking I'd enjoy this a-"
Mickey went and slapped a hand over Tibby's mouth. She heard footsteps, and the sound of a bullet ringing in the air. She held Tibby close. Tibby hugged her tightly back, trying to hold in his tears. They'd never been caught in the act. "Hello?! Tibby?!" A familiar voice echoed through the tunnel. Mickey and Tibby loosned their hug. Billy appeared around the corner. "Oh, Billy! Dude, did you hear that gunshot?" Tibby sighed, smiling slightly.
"Yeah, I did."
As he said that, Skye came around the corner, wielding a gun. Bucket was right behind her. "Skye? Bucket?" Tibby asked.
"We have questions for Miss Jones," Perry Bucket said.
"What?" Mickey asked. She stepped forward, her hand grasping Tibby's, pulling him forward too.
"What has been the reason for your behaviour lately?"
"I would prefer to talk about this some place else."
—
"Billy, you know me so well!" Skye exclaimed shortly before stuffing a handful of Cheetos into her mouth.
"Yeah, Cheetos are pretty good," Billy nodded.
"Mickey, care to explain?" Agent Bucket asked.
"Okay, okay. Fine. I'll tell you the whole story," Mickey replied.
FLASHBACK (MICKEY'S P.O.V)
It hurt seeing Tibby get shoved into so many lockers, seeing so many girls giving him THAT look... but this boy was far from the worst. He went WAY over the line.
Tibby was already self conscious about his weight, but I noticed him getting quite skinny. Too skinny. "Tibby, you okay?" I asked.
"Y-yeah... I'm fine," he replied.
As soon as we stepped into school, he ran off.
I followed him. He went to a quiet part of the school yard. A boy stood, a jock, tall and strong, arms crossed. "Does she know?" he asked.
"No, Cameron. I don't want you to hurt her," Tibby replied.
"Good. Now, you know what comes next."
And the boy started this huge list of hurtful words, each one ending with a punch. Fat. Worthless. Loser. A waste of space. Orc. I stopped him before he went any further. "And what are you doing?" I asked.
Cameron looked at me. "You said she didn't know!" he hissed at Tibby.
"M-Mickey... he's gonna hurt you..." Tibby warned.
"Oh no, he won't," I said, strolling right up to Cameron. I looked up at him. "No-one talks to my boyfriend like that."
"Don't see why you're dating that rat," Cameron rolled his eyes.
"Sorry, care to repeat that?"
"I said, I DON'T SEE WHY YOU'RE DATING THAT RAT."
"You're right."
Tibby began to cry. Cameron smirked. "Mickey... Mickey why...?"
"You don't see why I date him. But I do. I date him because he's handsome. He's kind. He's smart. Sure, he's an idiot, but he's my idiot. He's weird, but so am I. I love him for that. He understands my pain, unlike you."
Cameron Pines. I concentrated on that name, that ego, and he dropped dead. I squeezed Tibby, kissing him on the cheek. "I'll never leave you. I'll always protect you."
END OF FLASHBACK (BACK TO THIRD P.O.V)
"I still have scars," Tibby added, pulling up his sleeve to see (healing) cuts. He lifted his sweater and shirt, and he still looked really skinny, his ribs slightly visible. Mickey looked at the ground, her heart racing, feeling like it was on fire with anger still to all those who hurt Tibby and herself. "They all deserved to die," she whispered.
"You report bullies. And what about your friends?" Skye asked.
"Well, Em was mocking him, Laura was completely on Em's side and never backed up Tibby in arguments, and Mallory... he..."
"I got rid of Mallory!" Tibby blurted out. "He was forcing me to use my power to heal him after every dumb thing he did! He wanted to see his Dad, so I let him do that. He wanted me to use my power, so I did. I sucked the life out of him. And I regret it."
"I don't. I'm still so proud of you."
"You're twisted!" Billy stood, throwing a dice on the table at Mickey.
She didn't look up. She chuckled under her breath. "Do you really want to challenge me, Billy?" she asked.
"Yes! You're doing wrong, and you're forcing my best friend into it too! Skye, shoot her!"
"N-no! You don't understand!" Tibby said, wrapping himself around Mickey.
"It's fine, Tibby, she won't shoot," Mickey looked up at him.
"I just can't..." Skye whispered.
"But she killed so many!" Billy spat.
Bucket stood up. "Please, do calm down," he said. No-one listened.
"I can kill you too, Baker," Mickey hissed.
"Mickey, don't..." Tibby said.
Mickey pulled herself free from Tibby. "I did it all for him. Don't you get that? He could be long dead if I didn't stop Cameron right then and there. Yes, I kill people by thinking about them. Yes, it's dangerous. I'm dangerous. But you should take that as a warning!"
"What if I made him think you hated him?" Billy asked. "Make him hate you?"
"Then I'll still protect him because I know it's one of your dumb hallucinations. Don't think you can stop me from protecting my love, Billy. I'll do anything for him. Even if I get into trouble in the process."
"Oh, you called me your love. Okay Billy, we're going now you are disrespecting my girlfriend, bye," Tibby smirked, standing and grabbing Mickey and the pair left the room.
Before she left, Mickey managed to sneak a smile at Billy. When he saw this, he also saw, only for a split second, the blood of her victims all over her hands, her clothes, her face and her super awesome, trademark beanie. Her eyes were solid black. "That can't be Mickey," he said.
—
Billy Baker knocked on the door of Mickey's apartment. The door was opened by a Micheal Jones. "Um... hello?" he asked.
Emily shoved him out of the way. "Oh my God! It's Billy Baker!" she exclaimed.
Billy tried to ignore her. "Mr Jones, may I chat with you?"
—
"No, Mickey's been here the whole time, completely normal, more depressed if anything. Mickey!" Mr Jones called to his daughter.
It took a moment before a tired-looking Mickey Jones appeared in the doorway. The clothes she wore were completely different from what she was wearing just ten minutes ago. Mickey's eyes lit up as she ran to her friend. "Oh Billy, you're safe!" she exclaimed.
"We need to talk."
—
"Um... your room is very split," Billy said as he sat on Mickey's bed.
Mickey sat next to him. "She's so girly it makes me sick," she said. "Anyway, what did you wanna talk about?"
"What have you been up to lately?"
"Nothing. No-one's talked to me for days now, not even Tibby. Then I heard about people going missing, and..."
"Tibby's safe. You've been protecting him."
"He's not said a single word to me since last Tuesday, Billy!"
"Then who's the girl who looks just like you roaming the streets killing anyone she sees hurting your boyfriend?"
—
MICKEY'S P.O.V
Me. That was the answer. Me. It was the side of me I never thought would appear in this timeline. Billy's onto me. I don't want to break Tibby's heart. So I don't harm him. I managed to force him out of my house. As soon as I did so, I grabbed my journal, reading through the entries from the past 5 or so days.

Tibby is starving himself, I know it.
He's skinny, he won't eat. He loves food. Billy knows nothing, I asked him. I doubt Tibby would tell him about anything that deep anyway, it's Billy. Tibby's... wiser than that.
I can't believe he hasn't told me. I need to find out more.
I can't let him die.'
SWEAR WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING ENTRY (omg ive never done this wth im so sorry for my sins my parents will kill me if they find out about this) I WILL TELL YOU WHEN THE ENTRY ENDS.

Cameron is such a bitch. He thought he could harm my Tibby? He thought wrong, he knows that in the afterlife, I kicked his ass and he landed in Hell, hopefully.
I've never been so mad. And my life is pretty fucked up, I get mad a lot.
That fucking piece of shit... oh God, what if others are hurting Tibby?
I'm gonna keep saying it, Cameron's a fucking bitch. Although he's dead, I doubt I'll let this go. My own sister hurting Tibby is bad enough, let alone some big kid who could totally whoop his ass.
Not only that, but I've confirmed my fears. Tibby is spiraling into depression. All because of that shitty boy some shitty people decided to raise in such a horrible way.
I might show Tibby my favourite way of letting out my feelings.
It's this really cool thing called violence.
You probably know about it, it's the fucking bomb.'
SWEAR SWEARS ARE OVER YOU ARE SAFE NOW TIS ALL OKAY

I feel like that kill got it all out of my system. Of course, Tibby knows I can kill people with my powers. But he still accepts me.
People often ask why I'm dating Tibby. Honestly, I think we're a perfect match. He's an immature 14 year old who's also really smart, and I'm a bit of a grumpy 16 year old who likes to think she's mature but also loves people with passion.
It's very rare for me to open my heart so much to anyone. Tibby knows that. And he respects that. He understands how lucky he is.
I think he's scared to harm people. He chickened out today. He got a bit upset when I punched a girl who totally was falling for him.
But he loved it when Emily got a good kick in the shin for talking him down.'

Laura and Em Pegg are gone. Laura's living her worst nightmare in a different universe, and Em's blood was washed off my pocket knife. Tibby saw it happen. He vowed to never tell anyone.
I know he'll live up to that.
It warmed my heart to see Em's blood trickling down my arm. I should be scared of that feeling, but I'm not. It makes me feel strong. She couldn't fight back, believe me, she tried. Each kick and punch she tried to throw at me made me stronger, made me smile more, made me more determined.
Violence never lets me down. Neither does Tibby.'

Tibby killed Mallory on accident today. I think it hurt him. But as soon as Mallory's broken body dropped to the ground, lifeless, I saw a flicker of a smile on Tibby's face. I'm so proud of him.
Mallory was an idiot and dislocated his shoulder. Tibby killed him instead of healing it. Over and over, he says it was an accident. I don't think it was.
Billy's noticing how overprotective I've been. If he sees me harm anyone, God knows what he'll do, what he'll say.
Skye always wants to shoot a gun, I can see why. Except I don't use a gun, I use a knife. I think that feels better in a way. You get to feel the blood all over you, you get to taunt the victim, standing right in front of them with a smirk as if to say "you can't stop me now, you're dead".'

I think I'm going more insane than I already am. I spent a good ten minutes laughing to myself while home alone today.
As if killing people for my boyfriend isn't crazy enough.
I feel regrets, but I don't want to. The demon is struggling to stay in control.
I'll help her stay. I want to keep Tibby happy.
No-one can stop me. They can't even try.
Just writing this feels like it's helping her stay on top. I enjoy blood, gore, screams of pain, the silence after death. I enjoy that feeling when the body is lifeless on the ground, the laughs that take over.
Others may not like it. But they don't know about it. They don't know about what I'm doing.
I swear I'll protect Tibby until the end.
And if someone else takes him, if he leaves me for another girl, then that other girl will be sorry.'
I am insane. But I don't think I care.
TIME SKIP: ELEVEN MONTHS LATER, THIRD P.O.V
Billy saw the wanted poster on the pole. The two names he saw made him want to cry. Mickey Jones. Tibby Devin. He didn't know where they were, what they were doing, but he knew it all started from one boy. One boy from eleven months ago who hurt Tibby in several ways. He had to stop his former friends. He had to.
—
"Tibby, you've come so far," Mickey said, staring at the broken body at her feet.
Her boyfriend smiled. "I couldn't have done it without you."
"You have anyone else you wanna get rid of?"
"Nope! Think it's all outta my system. You?"
"There's one person, but you won't like who it is."
"Is it Billy?"
Mickey bit the inside of her cheek. "I know how much he meant to you..." she said.
"I do kinda wanna see him again. Can we find him."
Mickey rolled her eyes with a sigh. She saw the desperation in Tibby's eyes. "Fine. If you really want to," she said. She smiled.
"Oh Mickey, I love you so much!"
—
He stared at the trees towering above him, deep in thought. He had no-one left; three of his friends were dead, Skye and Agent Bucket were busy looking for Mickey and Tibby, who were now wanted killers.
Over a year ago, the Kollok Radar saved the world.
Then they lost two friends.
Then they gained three more.
And now everything had fallen apart.
Billy could feel the tears in his eyes. "Hey, Billy, don't cry," came a voice from behind him.
Tibby stood with Mickey right by his side. "Y-you... I-I... everyone's l-looking for... what are you d-doing here?" Billy spluttered.
"We came to see you. I miss you Billy."
"You two are going around killing people!"
"And it's pretty fun."
Billy's look of sadness turned to Mickey. "Why was the change so sudden? Why are you forcibg him to do this?"
"She's not forcing me to do anything!"
Billy saw the same thing he did eleven months ago. Eleven months ago, he saw Mickey covered in blood, her eyes solid black. That's what he saw again. But there was one extra thing, no, maybe two. Or three? Her grin was too wide. Her head was cocked to the side. And a single tear of blood trickled from her eye, down her cheek. But the sight came back. More blood came from her eyes. Her smiled was smaller, a friendly one, her head was straight. It was as if she saw right into Billy's soul. Tibby didn't notice. "Join us, Billy..." Mickey's voice rang through Billy's head. Somehow. "Join us, Billy. Join us, Billy..."
Tibby began glowing the red of the blood all over his girlfriend. His eyes were solid black. "Join us, Billy," he said aloud.
"Join us, Billy," Mickey repeated, also out loud.
Billy was no longer in control. He joined them.
