TEERTH'S POV

After hearing Yadavi's past, I felt so vulnerable. I feel so dumb and I just wanted someone to slap me, to beat me or to sue me with a knife. I have been with her for almost one year now but I didn't even know the name of her best friend which Lopa knows. I never tried to know anything about her. But she knows everything about me, everything from my likes, dislikes, allergies, what time I will wake up, what time I will sleep, etc. But I always ignored her. I was blaming Agu till now that he is being the worst husband, no I am the worst husband anybody can get. I still remember how I didn't even wish for Avi's birthday until Lopa came with a gift. I feel I am the one staying in the past. From today, I will be a better husband to Avi. I will try to gain her trust. I will be her best friend, her husband, her well wisher, guide everything. I will help her to get justice for her friend as well as Dayu.

I don't know what came over me, I came to our room and threw my favourite side clock on the floor to let out my frustration. I heard the opening of the door, Avi stood there frightened. How course why she won't she saw me breaking my favorite side clock which I never let anyone to touch including Avi. Her body started to shiver. Shit, I again screwed up. She is scared now.

"Avi I ...", before I can complete she started.

"Teeth, I mean Teerth, please don't think like I wanted Dayu to suffer that is why I didn't tell about Asuresh before itself. It is definitely not like that. I really thought that he changed. I am so sorry that I broke your trust. I know you are angry with me too...", she kept on blabbering whatever she felt. She is thinking I am angry on her when I am actually angry on myself. This girl is really something. Her beautiful eyes started shedding tears. She came near me and held my hands and pleaded me to believe her.

I don't know what came over me, I pulled her by waist and kissed her lips. Her lips tasted like strawberry due to her strawberry lip balm. Damn, she is going to be the death of me. At first, she didn't respond, then I pinched her waist which made her to open her mouth and slowly she started responding. I know this is her first kiss but what she don't know is this is my first kiss too. I never kissed Dayita when we where in relationship. We just used to hug that's it. I am happy that I am kissing my wife first. We were lost in out own world.

"Avi, Can we make Schezwan fried rice and Gobi Manchurian?", Dayu and Wridhi came inside the room and Wridhi's mouth was opened wide enough to let a whole mosquito family inside. Dayu pinched him.

"We are sorry. We will go and cook. You both can finish the work what you have started", saying this Dayu went by pulling Wridhi with her.

"OMG! Now Dayu is going to tease me with Lopa", Avi whined like a child. I want to kiss her again.

"What is there to tease? As if Lopa never kissed Agu. There are going to have their second child. We don't even have one", I said without thinking. Avi blushed. Her cheeks have become like tomato. I never thought that blushing of a girl can turn me on. I back hugged her.

"What say Mrs. Yadavi Teerth Shekawat, Shall we start the procedure for making a baby of our own?", I asked her. She slowly turned towards me.

"Are you serious? I thought you are not ready for a baby or you don't like me", Avi said.

"I never said I don't like you Avi, at the same time I won't say I love you too but I like you very much. You are really a sweet heart. And I will be very happy to start a family with you" I said cupping her face.

"I also want to start a family with you. I want a daughter like Adhu", she said dreamily.

"When do you want to start the procedure then Mrs. Shekhawat? Shall we start now?", I said and started kissing her neck. She pushed me.

"You are shameless Mr. Shekawat. You have your friends and a four year old kid who are waiting for us downstairs and here you want to make baby of your own. We will start everything on our anniversary", Avi whispered the last part on my ears.

"That is five days from now on", I whined like a child as if someone is snatching my candy.

"You have waited for 360 days Teerth, five days won't matter", saying this she went down. I also followed her like a lost puppy.

We both went down. There everyone is laughing about something. I am sure it is because of us.

"Teeth (Teerth) uncle, Wridhi uncle said that you were kishing (kissing) Avi aunty", Adhu said to me. This Wridhi is dead to me. I started chasing him and he was shouting that he was only saying the truth.

"Teerth you have two bachelors in your home man, you can do your romance after sending us all out", Onki shouted.

"Why don't you both get married?", Avi asked them.

"What to do Avi, I actually thought that this Teerth will reject you and I can marry you. But this traitor married you. Now also you have time, divorce him and marry me Avi.", Onki said dramatically by holding Avi's hand. This is usual for me.

"Leave her and get girl of her own", I went and pulled both their hands out.

"You are so possessive man", Wridhi said and again they started teasing me.

We all cooked together and started to have lunch.

"Avi, are you seriously going to ask Rithik uncle to take the case?", Lops asked her.

"Yea", she said confidently. I am totally against this. I know how my dad is! He will never take this case.

"He won't take the case Avi. So don't waste your time", I told her bluntly.

"We can try atleast Teerth. If he is not accepting the case, then we can go for other lawyers", she almost pleaded and I couldn't say no.

"Fine, we both will go today evening to his house.", I told her and Avi smiled.

"If you guys don't mind, can Dayu stay with me for this week? You know how my mom is so close to her right? She wants to see Dayu after Neela aunty said about her condition", Wridhi said.

"Yea sure, I would love to even I miss your parents specially Aunty's apple pie", Dayu said. She is obsessed with apple pies all the time and Wridhi's mom is a pro in it.

"Then fine, we will all see tomorrow and let us know what your dad says about the case", Agu said and everyone left together.

I am going to meet my parents after a year. It is true after my wedding I didn't meet them at all. Only Avi is used to go and meet them.

At evening, we both went together to my parents place and went inside. There my mom and dad were having their snacks.

"Mom", I called my mom. I missed her a lot, no doubt. Every time she calls me, it hurts me to hear her cries but my ego always comes in my way.

"Am I dreaming or you are really in front of me?", My mom asked me with full of tears in her eyes. She came and hugged me tight.

"Mom, stop crying otherwise your kajal will get smudged", I teased her. She was a model actually but after marrying my father she had quit modeling.

"I don't care about smudging of my kajal. I have my son today after a year", She said and kissed my cheeks and forehead. Avi got blessing from her and then she went to my dad and took his blessings too.

"Hi dad, how are you?", Avi asked him.

"I am fine dear. How are you? I hope my son didn't forget about you as he got his old company back", my dad said looking at me coldly.

"I am not someone who forgets about his responsibilities whether it is old or new", I gave him reply.

"Uncle I am fine and Teerth is really treating me like a queen", Avi supported me. She always does.

"You both first sit, I will bring something to eat for everyone", saying this my mother and went and brought green tea and some cookies. We started drinking the green tea.

"So any reason for the visit Avi?", my dad asked Avi. She explained what happened and how Asuresh gave a complaint about all of us.

"Uncle, Can you take this case please? Uncle please it is not only for Dayita but also for all the women who are facing this every day", she pleaded to my dad. But I know he won't take the case for sure.

"I will take this case", my dad said.

This is something unexpected. I thought he won't take the case.

"But I have a condition", he added.

Now what will be the condition he is going to keep?
