Storytime!
These are stories, memories, or stories I can't remember, but have been told, from different times.
I was practicing my cursive handwriting (which sucks by the way) by writing song lyrics, and showed it to my mom, and one of the songs was "Banks of the Ohio" and my mom started singing it. So I picked the paper up and said, "I'm taking the paper away from you." And walked off.
My family and me were at the store once and we just got there after a Halloween party. My mom, dressed in pajamas, starts dancing to 'her song' my face goes bright red, I turn around and say, "this is worse than the Reynolds Pamphlet!"
One time, when I was a little baby (like 1 year old or possibly younger), I was in a no hands watermelon eating contest, and I ate a piece of watermelon that was bigger than my face, non-stop until I finished. I was in the newspaper after that. (That's what I've been told? I can't remember it though)
I remember walking at night one time with my mom and possibly other sister, I was probably about 4, so Maggie was a little baby, and I remember I was thinking about (or dreamed) a scary bear in a library with a creepy face. Which was very scary for 4 year old me.
So sometimes, I sleepwalk, okay? Well, once, I was really little and my parents and me were at a hotel. And apparently, I unlocked 3-4 locks on the door and walked out the door. My dad caught me though.
One time, I was playing hide and seek with my sisters and Ashe. I hid under one of the bunk beds, where no one could find me. I was the last person to be found, but I only came out because Ashe used a sing-songy voice that lured me out. And also no one found me until I came out.
I was at my grandpa's house one Monday, for a guitar lesson, and it was right before Halloween. So I helped him get the pumpkins upstairs, but for some reason I was holding one pumpkin like a baby kinda. You know, "don't drop it" was running through my mind, and applied the same thing for the pumpkins. Idk.
Me, my family, and my dad's Texas family (except his other brother), were all in one house, and I decided that I wanted to hang out with my aunt, uncle, and baby cousin. So I did, but I didn't tell anyone I was going to, so no one knew where I was for a long time. I was walking back to the house from the cabin, and apparently everyone was worried about where I was.
So I went to camp for three days, and had a lot of fun. But I missed a big part under my eyes and on my nose when I was putting sunscreen on. Because I'm not concerned enough about getting burned. Apparently, you should put on sunscreen like 3 times a day on Catalina Island. My arms also got slightly burned. And I lost my flashlight.
I was in Texas with my dad's Texas family, I was not concerned about sunscreen. I thought, "it's like California, where I probably won't get burned." Well I was wrong. My shoulder got burned (again), and I got bit by bugs 4 times. Now, I'm allergic to bug bites, so I got three bites on my legs (which those parts became swollen after), and one on my arm. By the time I got a bite on my arm, it was very swollen. I had to take 2-3 steroids, and I was told it would work better if I chewed the pills. So I did. It was gross.
Any questions?
