Doctor: Mr. Hamilton, come in, they brought him in half an hour ago, he lost a lot of blood on the way over-

Alex: is he alive?!

Doctor: yes, but you have to understand, the bullet entered just above his hip and lodged in his right arm-

Alex: can I see him please!?

Doctor: I'm doing everything I can, but the wound was already infected when he arrived.

Alex: *gasp* Philip..

Philip: pa. I did exactly as you said, pa. I held my head up high!

Alex: I know, I know, shhh (high), I know, I know, shhh I know, you did everything just right!

Philip: even before we got to 10, I was aiming for the sky! (I know, I know,) I was aiming for the sky!

Alex: I know, save your strength and stay aliveeee!

Eliza: noooooo!

Alex: Eliza!

Eliza: is he breathing, is he going to survive this?! Who did this, Alexander, did you know?

Philip: mom, I'm so sorry for forgetting what you taught me

Eliza: my son

Philip: we played piano

Eliza: I taught you piano..

Philip: you would put your hands on mine..

Eliza: you changed the melody everytime

Philip: I would always change the line!

Eliza: shhhh, I know, I know,

Philip: I would always change the line!

Eliza: I know, I know. Un, deux, trois, quatre (un deux trois quatre cinq six sept huit nuef..), cinq, six sept huit nuef!

Philip: six, sept huit nuef!

Eliza: good. Un, duex, trois, quatre (un deux trois..), cinq, six, sept, huit, nuef. Sept huit nuef..? Sept huit..
